Constant Rules

  • Follow the Gaia ToS:
This is not just a guild-related issue. You can be banned from GaiaOnline altogether if you do not follow this.

  • No Harassment:
We do not take this lightly. Any racism, sexism, prejudicial remarks of any kind, and general bullying will be result in permanent termination from the guild. We may also report you to a Gaia Administrator if deemed severe enough.
Try to get along and keep things professional.

  • Keep it PG-13:
No nudity. Sexual references are allowed, but keep it to a minimum. Profanity is also allowed; we are less strict about it if your post is in-character. OOC profanity should be limited though and generally not directed towards someone else...and not in a violent manner.

  • Be literate:
You don't have to be a walking thesaurus, but "text talk" is not allowed in-character. Try to post with proper grammar. It makes things easier to understand.

  • No metaplaying:
If your character has no way of knowing about something, he/she shouldn't. e.g. Your partner is in trouble in a different country than your character. You have no way of communicating. There should be no reason for your character to get involved.
It's not a huge offense by any means, but by repeatedly doing it, you show us that you can't be trusted to follow the rules, which is never a good thing.

  • No godmodding:
You really shouldn't have to worry about this. You can only use techniques and abilities that are approved by moderators. As long as you follow the rules, you should be good.
But to be clear, don't make your character seem godly compared to another for no reason. Strength and speed for characters are relatively identical without the aid of a technique. Taijutsu specialists (as in someone with actual Taijutsu techniques, not just listing the term in your profile) would be the only ones who receive any sort of leeway on this. A difference in rank will as well; a genin won't be as strong as a kage.

  • Posting in Subforums:
Before doing so, make sure you read the guidelines of the subforum first. It will give you potentially necessary information. Guidelines of each forum should be posted as an announcement thread.

  • Listen to Moderators:
Follow the words of all moderators. Their word should be an extension of the guild rules. If you think a moderator is being unfair to you, PM the Captain. If the Captain is the moderator being unfair to you, PM any or all of the Vice Captains and Crew members. We don't want you to feel like you're being treated differently or unfairly. But excessive arguing with moderators is also unnacceptable.

  • Use Common Sense:
We shouldn't have to outline every little thing you can't do.

Rules Subject to Change

Rules posted here may be changed at some point. Everyone will be notified if they do.

  • Techniques/KG:
Currently, each character may only start with 13 Jutsu Points and cannot start with an unlocked Kekkei Genkai.

  • Posting:
The only subforum any character can post in right now is the Forest of Hope forum.

  • Clan Creation:
We do not allow people to create their own clan. This may change in the future, it may not. We do, however, offer rare chances where we take someone's clan and incorporate it into the guild. But when this happens, we will notify everyone. So please, unless requested, do not send clans to any moderators or post them within the guild.

  • Choosing a Clan:
As of right now, everyone MUST choose a clan for their character. No exceptions.
In the future, we won't be so strict.

  • Number of Characters:
Currently, no one is allowed more than a single character. Twin characters are allowed and count as one profile, and essentially one entity (that's not to say that when one dies, the other dies. But, for instance, if a character is allowed to start with 13 jutsu points, those 13 points must be distributed between the twin characters. They do not get 13 each).
This rule will change once we've established the guild further.

  • Character's Death:
Currently, we do not allow any characters to die without permission of the owner.

  • Character Knowledge:
No one's character should have any knowledge about anything that happened in the series.
What they should know is this: the world has essentially been destroyed. Everything except a forest (Forest of Hope). This is where you will start RPing.
