Well, we got quite the surprise with this one. Six beautiful fillies. While Kes and I were able to happily home the three youngest, we came up blank for who should take home the three eldest. At around the same time, Miyu and Yue's grandson Equinox had three little ones of his own, with the only girl in that group needing a home, too. Four lovely little girls in the same family, all needing loving owners.
So the four of us, Snow, Dea, Kes, and I, went to an old fall-back: RP and plot contest.
A quick note on the six fillies from the Miyu x Yue breeding: Since so many foals have come of this pairing, and it can be tricky to make everything feel fresh artistically, each filly is themed after a suit of the Clow deck. The three presented in the image above are, from left to right: Earthy, Watery, and Firey.

- You may only win ONE (1) of the Miyu x Yue girls, those being the three fillies on the left in the above pic. It is possible to win two fillies here, but not from the same breeding.
- You may enter for as many fillies as you like.
- No being nasty, critical, or discouraging about this contest, or the other entrants/entries. Be nice. This is a fairly sweet and loving family we're talking about here. heart
- You may pick any prompt you like, so long as you fill out the entire form. heart
- We would like to see winners at least stick around for plotting. If you're not going to plot or RP with either family, this might not be the contest to participate in. Some parts of the family have left, and we'd prefer it if you didn't just snag a filly and run, never to talk to us or their family ever again.

.:Miyu and Yue's Family:.
Below are the members of the family who will actively be around during this breeding batch's foalhood. Most of their siblings are away from home, as are the majority of any older siblings' children. Equinox and Emiko's part of the family will be covered in the next post. If someone in the family tree is not listed, or given a personality description, it is safe to assume that they are away from home, and will not be regularly present during this time. These absent family members may appear later on, though.
Miyu: Miyu is the mother of the clan, and is lined up to be one of the leaders for the revived herd that your filly has been born into. She's outwardly a very ladylike, graceful, dignified personage, almost too regal to seem like she's really the mother to her children. Inside, however, she's a very sociable, kind, caring, and intelligent person. Miyu loves her family very much, and tries not to judge or interfere too much. She will likely be around for any bonding that Equinox and Emiko's kids would like.
Yue: Yue is the patriarch of the clan, and is outwardly a powerhouse match for his lifemate. Deep down inside, Yue's a protective father. Perhaps overly protective. Whereas Miyu's more the wise figure, Yue's more analytical, more likely to judge. But he does love his family as much as Miyu does. Like Miyu, Yue is helping to revive and redevelop the herd your filly was born into.
Yukito: Yukito is the only son who's really stuck around. He has a twin who might show up later on, named Yukiko. Yukito is a sweet, kind guy who seems to have picked up on some of Miyu's gentle wisdom. Much more of a lover than a fighter. Big eater. It is unsurprising to see Yukito chowing down on an insane amount of food, without gaining a pound. No one's sure how he does it. He's also pretty cool about having a bunch of baby sisters around. He thinks his six newest sisters are totally adorable.
Aryanna: Aryanna is one of the daughters of Yukito's twin. Two of her three siblings may or may not drop in during these foals' youth. For complicated reasons Miyu and Yue don't really talk about, Aryanna and her sister Sora were raised by Miyu and Yue. Until recently, Aryanna was a fierce, sword-wielding maiden who took no prisoners. That is, until her blade, Demon Slayer, broke. Smashed against the hard bone scales of a tyrant dragon. She never did get to finish it off... Now she has taken up a new life. Gone are ways of the warrior, while her figure still shows it. Clothed in half robes and graced with a new blade, Morning Star, Aryanna takes the path of a healer with herbs and song. She apparently came home shortly before the recent batch of foals were born.
Asuka: Asuka is a shy and gentle one, spending a lot of time by herself, with a dreamy look in her eye, singing to herself. While she enjoys adventures and the occasional good joke, Asuka's not very comfortable in a fight. She tends to run away from even loud disagreements. She could probably hold her own if she got into any trouble, but that's not really who she wants to be right now. Asuka is also quite smart, but not necessarily showing signs of great wisdom yet.
Kurotsuki: Kurotsuki usually has a gentle and mysterious look about her, but don't let that fool you. Kuro, when around those who are close to her, is a playful one, periodically a prankster, and sometimes a bit eccentric. She can still be quite the solemn lady when circumstances call for it, and takes chances to study magic under Miyu and Yue quite seriously. Smart, too, but not always good about refraining from criticism. Kuro loves her family as much as do the rest, but can feel stifled by Yue's overprotective nature. She does, however, go to Yukito when she needs some emotional support. Kuro and Shiro are very close to each other, almost to the point of being twins.
Shirotsuki: Shirotsuki is a sweet young filly, but has a bit of a mischievous streak to match Kuro.
Soel: Shiro's bonded bunny, and likely to be as much trouble as Larg, Kuro's bunny.
Larg: Larg is Kuro's partner in crime so to speak. He'll usually be the first to go along with her mischievous and whimsically playful personality, often echoing it with his own. Larg and Kuro are inseparable.

Below are the members of the family who will actively be around during this young lady's foalhood. It's safe to assume the characters in the previous post will also be around, so this is a list more specific to this side of the family. Again, some family members may currently be absent, although they may show up later on.
Emiko: Emiko is a very gentle, loving, and soft-spoken mare. She has a deep loyalty to her new-found family, and to the herd where she has found a home.
Equinox: Equinox, Regal, gentlemanly, not very talkative, a bit stoic but his smile is radiant. He loves his mate, Emiko, and cherishes the beautiful foals she brought into the world. He tries not to be over protective and more supportive. Born and raised in the Moonlight herd by parents that are an amazing example of love, dedication, and sacrifice. He was raised with two sisters and learned how the opposite gender, for the most part, works.
Vesper: Vesper, like so many members of the family, is a very serious young colt. He loves the night, and looks up to his great-grandfather, Yue.
Auriel: Auriel, the younger of the twin boyos, is studious, friendly, and social.
Glossanor: Glossanor, Equinox's father, is intelligent and curious. He has a love of learning and exploring that compels him to wander off all the time. But his high intelligence and bookworm-like personality don’t mean he is weak. Gloss is rather strong, having been born of two fine herd leaders. Gloss takes after his mother in the sense that he enjoys running and has great stamina and endurance. He can have a bit of a temper and is self-righteous at times.

I Have Some Dreams to Share~!Which Filly: Emiko x Equinox filly on the far right Name:Aotsuki Cho - Bluemoon butterfly Owner: Ice_Dragon_Demon Personality Blurb: Quiet, graceful a true lady taking a lot after her mother. She has the gift of song though for the most part is very quiet. Any magic she has is triggered through song and Rhyme. This includes her healing abilities but excludes the natural Telekinesis. Eldest of the three she takes on more of the family's responsibility. She Spends time learning from her father, grandfather and Great grandfather about magic. She like the rest of her family adores it. She has a habit of doting on both of her younger brothers. She also has a strong sense of justice similar to Gloss. She was far to little to understand most of it but she knew that she felt she already wanted to help in some way. One day she would, she was certain of this. Ao just had to think of a way. She wished she'd grow faster. But learning and growth takes time her great grandfather said Seeing as their meeting wouldn't let up anytime soon Ao turned from the adults. She wanted to study with her father and grandfathers again but; both Her grandparents, great grandparents and parents were in the group along with a white tiger stallion of similar race to her. She'd heard he could turn into a cat! it was curious magic. There was nothing like it at least that she knew yet. A few of the others that remained in the herd could also transform but she'd yet to see it.Perhaps when they weren't busy They'd explain how the transformation magic worked, Her grandfather had said something about it... But she couldn't quite remember... Or was that different transformation magic. she shook her head, it was still so confusing but she thoroughly enjoyed it. The filly sighed as she continued to walk through the safe part of the glade. Now, where were her brothers? She would very much like to be with them while the adults were busy. Maybe she's practice singing, it wasn't too long ago during a lesson they discovered her magic only activated when she sung. It was exciting. She'd been singing with Sadira one of Azha's daughters she'd made a rhyme like spell and it to her surprise actually worked. There were a lot of stars around. Her great aunties were fun too; most of her great aunties were all her age at least the ones she knew in this herd. According to grandfather gloss they had lots more family in the dreamer's glass herd but she'd never been out of moonlight. She had to protect her brothers though they were the only boys right now in the family next to dad and both grandpa and great grandfather. A lot of her family were on adventures and a few had just disappeared she could see it pained those who remained. Ao brightened upon seeing the familiar golden and lavender forms of her brothers nearby. Both her brothers had Arion magic dame as her mother. IT was exciting watching them shrink and grow, Ao was always "Vespi!, Auri!" she called her nicknames for her brothers softly sweet in her usual sing song voice. "Shall we play, the rest of the day?" her horn glowed softly as she trotted toward her brothers with a soft smile. Not to far away her newly born great aunts had also gathered.

Personality Blurb: Neomenia is a very gentle and nurturing but can be really inquisitive female who loves the night world so she wakes up during the night to indulge herself in the songs of the night along with the paintings the moon presented to her. As the magic flows through her veins, she could see things differently than others.. the energy surrounding living beings so she ulitizes that to her advantage so she could help others.

Entry:
Ever since she opened her eyes for the first time, seeing the entire family there welcoming her into the world, she always knew that this family is unique and special but she couldn't understand why. As she finally got a full understanding of her surroundings and her family dynamics, she started to notice that she could see the colors around living things' forms and she feels the odd thing flowing through her body so she approached some of her family members with inquiries about those emotions and feelings she's having. They all smiled at her and ushered her away for days of lessons and teaching her all about the magic. Neomenia was so full of questions and she wasn't afraid to ask them those questions because that's who she is. An inquisitive little lady who wants to know answers to everything so she could know how to function in this world. As other family members herds her back to the homelands, Neomenia looks at different colors surrounding their family and smiles.
One night, she decided to slip away from her family unit because she feels a strong pull from the moon beckoning her to come with her and to dance under the moonlight. Her pale wings flutters and presses against her body while she gazes up at the moon, closing her eyes feeling the cleansing energy washing over her body and she feels much lighter now. "Hear the song of the night, my little one." The feminine musical voice floats toward her. Neomenia jerked her head up as she looks around, trying to find the owner of the voice. "Enjoy the views, my moon child. Enjoy the stars. Enjoy the unique kind of magic that only comes during the night." The voice fades out as the filly swore she saw the moon shining brighter than ever. As she turns her head around, sees everything the moonlight hits and she smiles when she sees sparkles on darkened plants and small nocturnal animals scampering from one place to other, hunting down the food to survive.
The lilting song of the night wraps around Neomenia's body as she allows the moonlight bathe her in the magic, that's when she realized that magic is a huge part of her life and she will always treasure the gifts others have. She knows that she probably doesn't have the magic flowing through her veins and its just wishful thinking but again, she probably have the magic. She just need to discover it.
Magic is the life. Magic is everywhere around them. Magic is life-giving or it could be a destroyer of the life.

Name: Artemisia
Owner: Caitlyn Hellstorm
Personality Blurb: Artemisia is a very quiet female to the point where others wouldn't know she's there unless she makes herself known so that means she's very observative as well. Nothing could escape her attention, not a minuscule detail at all. Her pale blue eyes seems to be very aloof but at same time, you could see the warmth in them. Her voice is quiet but there's a lilt to her tone which nobody knows why but there's a suspicion going on that there's some serious case of magic going on inside the filly.

Entry:
Sitting outside of the family circle, a pale colored filly stands under the trees watching the going-ons in silence, her pale blue eyes is already picking out all of the details she needs to know about what will happen next. Those subtle hints and body languages are her ways of being able to anticipate what will happen again. Her family speaks of the magic but she doesn't feel anything flowing through her body and her mother told her that it might takes time for her to discover her magic. A slight movement at corner of her eyes caused her to move her head around and now is eye to eye with a fawn whom just froze in fear and the filly doesn't dare to move at all. The fawn starts to make small cries, trying to summon her mother and the filly stares at the fawn while she slowly backs away from the wildlife while extruding the vibes of love and comfort to the frightened fawn.
The fawn's body starts to stop trembling too much as she seems to smile at the filly while the doe cautiously approached the fawn to usher her away to the safety. Artemisia smiles a bit to herself as she turns her head back toward the circle of family, noticing that not all of them are there anymore and she had a feeling that they are looking for her. Her pale blue tail swishes back and forth behind her as she quietly moves down the hill, wondering if she does have any magical abilities or not. If she doesn't have any, she would just accept it because she does have enchanted abilities along with knowledge to arm herself with. She will be useful to the family one way or other. She looks up toward the sun, knowing that she will get her answer soon.
"There you are, Artemisia! You scared us!" Her mother trots up toward her and the filly smiles up to her mother, nuzzling her. "I am sorry, mama. I just needed to get away for awhile to figure things out for myself. Would you tell me more about the magic?" The older mare smiles down at the quiet and inquisitive little daughter of hers before she looks up. "Well, the magic is all around us, my little one. Every living things harbors some form of magic just like you." She nuzzles Artemisia whom just stares at her mother attentively while they strolls back to the lands of their herd. Artemisia already have set her mind on the fact that she will learn all kinds of magic on the spectrum and have a working co-existing relationship with all of them.

Kameko is an overall good soul, if a little volatile.
She is a strong independent little adventurer with dreams of greatness. She adores her family with every fiber of her being and will do anything to see them happy, safe and well. She also has a strict code of morals she adheres to, even if it isn't considered to be conventional. A bit of a troublemaker, she also has a rather nasty habit of getting into situations where is is in way over her head.
She has very little tolerance for ignorance and stupidity... And she always has something to say to anyone who shows either of these qualities, and none of it is friendly or kind. She is constantly curious and eager too learn anything that she can. Though she is extremely easily frustrated if things don't come to her as quickly or easily as she would wish. This includes magic, and though she can feel the spark in her blood, she finds it difficult to access or have anything to do with it. This causes her to be seemingly short-tempered, though it is not against any individual or situation rather than herself.

Entry:
In her life, there was never any doubt in the filly's mind, that she was loved. That she was different. That she was special. Facts she understood instinctually. And took great pride in. But more than that, Kameko knew of magic, and was taught to respect it. Magic was something one was born with, or not, but it was also something one had to learn. She was one of the lucky ones, with the spark of magic in her blood, so she was quickly encouraged to take lessons. And the lessons seemed endless....
The young filly snorted at herself, and stomped her hoof in agitation.
She knew she had powers. She could feel that spark. But it seemed like no matter what she did, she just couldn't seem to get it. She tried quiet stillness. She tried Meditation. She tried focus and control. Channeling the spark through different mediums such as movement and song... Nothing seemed to work.
She couldn't help but wonder if perhaps there was something wrong with her. Was it simply she was a slow learner – which she would despise- but was also something she could live with? Was she defective? Was the situation something else completely? She didn't know. But she feared the worst. That there was something wrong with her. That she might be a disappointment because she couldn't control her magic.
Then she tilted her head. Considering. Those things she had tried all focused on discipline and control. These were aspects that were expounded on time and again. But what if she was different. What if, instead of control, emotions were what she needed to access and control the fire inside?

Which Filly: Firey
Name: Yasu - Japanese "assertive child"
Owner: Heavenly Snow
Personality Blurb: A strong willed filly who's inherited her mother's grace. Yasu can be a bit bull headed, driven, impulsive and one who'll aim to excel in all that she does. I can see her being dedicated to strengthening the herd she's born to. I don't see her being in a position that would handle matters delicately due to her tenacity and fiery nature. Kind of a "do first, ask questions later" girl. She's never the dull one to be around and will liven up droll occasions.
Prompt: 1
Entry: Yasu was enthralled by the idea of magic and at the role it played in her family. She could remember hoping, yearning, that she too had magic. Yasu could almost image that she felt it burning deep in her being. She understood that her family loved her no matter what, that she was still a unique individual, and still valued. But she had a burning desire for it.
Yasu had trouble with self control, sitting still, or being quiet for long. Any kind of activity she was told to do involving those qualities ended in disaster and a firm bit of scolding. Sneaking off was her most notorious trick. She needed to explore and learn about her world and the magic in it. Where did it come from? How does one obtain it? Did it come from inside...or outside...of her body?
Fire was what Yasu was mostly drawn too. The way the flames danced, how high it could go, the destruction it possessed as it consumed a tree. She hoped to know how to control it and produce it. Magic is elemental in some ways...could she bend fire to her will if she had magic? Maybe she'd have been able to save the tree that day...but it had come from lightning...Yasu had been wondering again and she paused and looked towards the sky. Does magic come from the sky? Wind comes from there too and sometimes water....

Which Filly: Earthy
Name: Shinju ("pearl" )
Owner: Geyser Eelborn
Personality Blurb: Stoic, calm, Shinju puts on a ladylike front no matter what is going on. Her mother is her ultimate role-model--Shinju wants to be exactly like her mother when she grows up. The trouble is, Shinju's too young to understand what her mother is really like underneath all of that regal elegance... Shinju's other biggest flaw is her stubbornness. No matter what is going wrong in her life, she refuses to acknowledge it. She really does believe that if she pretends there is no problem, then the problem will go away.
Shinju loves her family very much, especially her siblings, and she's quite happy to cheer them on in everything they do--even if she's bad at expressing this. If there's something upsetting Asuka, she'll be the first person to ask other people to stop upsetting her sister; if something's upsetting Kuro and Yukito's not around, she's ready and willing if her sister should need a shoulder to cry on.
Prompt: 1
Entry: Failed again. Shinju sighed internally as she wandered along the banks of a meandering creek. The mist swirled and eddied around her hooves, but she barely noticed it. She'd spent the morning trying to perform magic and just...not. She wasn't good at it. She didn't feel any special energy flowing through her. There was no...tug, or glow, or however it was supposed to feel. She just couldn't do magic. It wasn't in her to succeed at this. All she'd gotten from a morning of trying hard was a massive headache and a feeling of defeat that she didn't like at all.
Shinju couldn't explain this to anyone, of course. First of all, it would be...well, it wouldn't be her. It wouldn't be proper. Mother would surely disapprove of any sulking about because she wasn't "special" enough. Shinju refused to do anything that could shame her mother or upset her father, and she had a suspicion that if she voiced her worries to her sisters, they would try to help her get magic.
She sighed internally once again. Helping was sweet. It was an admirable thing to do. It was the sort of thing she'd do for her sisters, and she had every confidence that her family would reciprocate for her in her time of need. But this? No. She didn't want help with this.
She especially didn't want help that came in the form of "just wait until you're older, keep trying." That was the second thing--everyone would tell her that she was an arcturus, of course she had magic. Arcturuses always had magic, even if it was just healing magic. Mind you, she doubted her niece Aryanna would agree with the phrase "just healing magic," but that wasn't the point!
It just...
She just didn't feel it. No matter what she tried, Shinju hadn't found any evidence other than the horn on her forehead that she had any magic at all. She wasn't like the rest of the family, and she was tired of...of what, precisely?
"Enough," she said softly. She blinked. Had she really just said that out loud...? Never mind. "Self-pity won't help this. So we don't have magic, or maybe we have Arcturus magic, it doesn't matter. So what if our family has lots of magic and we don't? It doesn't matter one whit, because..."
Because why?
"Because it doesn't matter to our parents." She shook out her mane, and kept talking--in a low voice, of course, in case anyone overheard. "Our family will love us no matter what our magic is. And if we do have magic, then, well, we'll find out in time, won't we? In the meantime..." She took a deep breath. "In the mean time, we will be there for our family who do have magic, no matter what."
With her decision made, she pushed the very idea of magic out of her head. It would be a worry for another day. For now, she would just concern herself with getting back to her family before they started to worry about her.
