So here is how it will work. I will be making a story and rping as the bad guys... You all will be doing your own characters. I'm DM, you're players. You wanna do an action there will be a roll to see if you fail something funny happens. Your characters will be rolled for using a format I come up with at a letter date(because I'm lazy), and rules will be given. (I hate 4.0. Just throwing that out there.) Moving on! pirate

Our story takes place in a desert nation where life is a struggle anywhere outside the cities. The sands are home to many dangers, but currently the main one is heat. Well over 100° and prolonged exposure without water may or may not lead to death.

Rules are the same as the guild rules with some exception. No god modes or auto success. It is always third person past tense. And don't forget to roll your d- 20's then you edit it and do your move according to the die roll.

Example picked up his hammer and readied for the attack of the insatiable squiddy tentacle monsters. He shuddered. Example had been on the internet long enough to know where this was gunna go. He swung his hammer at the groping tentacles but missed. Oh no we're gonna have to censor that!

Fenkian was finally done with all his magical training and ready to help the world with his magic. Hearing tales of most adventurers coming to town and settling in the inns/taverns he decided to head to one he knew of hoping to meet some adventurers it was obvious he was a foolish young adventure ready mage as he kept his school's robes of elven forest green which aided him well in hiding if in the forest of his village. "Hello excuse me are you perhaps adventurers?" he asked the two random strangers sitting at a table. Dude wrong forum.

Ardin stepped into the tavern and shook sand out of his dreads and clothes. A sandstorm had picked up in a short time and began blowing through town. Approaching the bar in the tavern the large tanned Hume slapped down some coin. "One please." He asked kindly with a smile. "Yeah and make it snappy!" Called a raven from a perch on his shoulder. Everything about the man read that he was from this desert. The tavernmaster poured the drink and picked up the coin with a smile. "If I didn't know you better, I'd say that bird would get you killed one day." He said as he returned to wiping mugs down.

Fenkian overheard the new Hume walking in for a drink especially thanks to his raven friend calling loudly making it hard to miss them. "Hey Hi there it's not often I see a Hume like yourself around here, would you perhaps be a adventurer?" The young elf didn't want to intrude the area too much but sat nearby to wait a reply from new comer in the tavern. "I see we got another sandstorm nearby." he smirked in a friendly way and chuckled seeing how much sand was on the new comers. "I just hope your feathered companion didn't get too much sand in their feathers." he leaned in to whisper. "Kind of makes many talking birdies grumpy birdies."

The bird pecked at the elf as he leaned in. "Lay off long ears!" It called as the large Hume drained the drink in one go. "Oh don't mind him, he is all puff." Ardin said setting the mug down with a thump. "Adventurer? No, I live here. Just recently left the tribe to find myself a wife." He smiled a warm inviting one again. "He's gotta find him a good woman. Maybe one of your kind long ear. I hear there's some good ones." Ardin smiled and made a shush motion at the bird. "Did you need anything?" He asked tapping on the counter for the barman to refill.

"Nice bird." (roll 10 or above to not show a lying face.) Fenkian looked back at the hume. "Oh so you live around the desert area this must mean you don't need any help of a mage." Oddly he didn't leave this time as he did with others probably was interested in talking now for all he knew seeing as nobody was a adventurer as he thought they were perhaps another town would bring luck but it was also getting tiresome to just leave and travel alone so staying was fine. "Well I might not be able to help much as a mage, but maybe I can just travel about town with you if it's alright with you. Perhaps we'll find that girl you need with my magic." Fenkian smiled at that lightly chuckling again as it was a funny idea to him to use magic to find a woman for anymore.

Sitting quietly in a shadows nook Triss watched the chatty elf an Hume. A mage An a Hume with a chatty bird... this place gets more interesting all the time she whispered to herself. Poking at the meat on her plate she frowned Ugh. Why am I still eating this.. I don't even know what this is.

Ardin shook his head. "Can't say magic could help. I suppose you could order a drink and ask if any rumors are going around." He said as he picked the recently refilled cup up. "I hear goblins have been kidnappings people. There may be a bounty on them, but I'm not sure." Ardin said before he drank from the mug. "yeah. Goblins are easy. Maybe even a long ear like you could kill some." the bird called sarcastically. Once again Ardin laughed and shushed the bird. "You really should just ignore him. He likes to harass." The empty mug thumped the counter again.

Triss smirked to herself. She liked this crude bird and listened intently.

The bird called out tauntingly again. "what's a long ear even doing out here in the desert? Aren't you supposed to be I. The forest hugging trees or something?" Ardin stood up and shrugged. "Maybe he is lost. I'm gunna go catch some goblins. Reward or not, people tend to buy em for a high price on the slave market." He said as he turned to leave. " Yeah. Long ears sell for a high price too. What do you say." ardin shook his head. "Leave the elf alone you." He said smiling as he wagged his finger.

"I heard in some places people eat crows so I'd be careful with words little fellow." Fenkian chimed at the crow's slave remark. "Any way, I'm not lost just starting to go on my own adventure I'm just trying to find people to help out. I'm fresh out of my mage training and ready to aid the whole world!" He followed them out out. "Perhaps I can travel with you two, name's Fenkian or Fen for short. Never know when you'll need magic around to help out."

Ardin shrugged. "Couldn't hurt. Just keep out of my way and ignore the sour puss on my shoulder and we should be fine. " I'm no sour puss you're just boring." once again a shrug from the big guy. " at least until I'm on the battlefield. " he pointed out as he walked out the door.
