It was amazing what kinds of things happened down shady little alleyways. He had gone up about an hour before, just trying to find a place to sit and relax and think…and eat the giant lollipop he had caved and bought earlier in the day…one of those large round multicolored ones that didn’t taste like…
Well. Didn’t taste like much.
He had gone up as Whisler, since being able to leap onto tall buildings wasn’t something that Nick could do, and it was on a building where he sat now, no longer Whisler, tucked into the shadow of…of something. Maybe an air conditioning unit? It kept making strange whining sounds and he kept saying that he was going to move and find a better place to sit, but…
So far that hadn’t happened.
He saw the whole thing happening. Some chick with long black hair and an Asian style getup, going after a poor defenseless hobo, who…well. May have been drunk, or whatever. It didn’t take too long for Nick to realize just what was going on…but there were a lot of hobos in the city and well. He was almostdone with his lollipop.
The hobo could wait, and he didn’t think the corrupt would hurt him too badly…there were no buttwings on the girl at any rate, so that had to stand for something.
When the hobo stopped moving, however Nick sighed and stood up, cracking his back before letting the power of Whisler settle on him, becoming the glowing knight of Polaris once again.
He jumped lightly off of the building, his lollipop still in hand and came to a stop behind the girl, admiring all of the long, silky black hair.
“Having fun, are you?”

It was just another night of energy gathering. Kamacite kept to the shadows, staying quiet and out of sight as best he could, looking for people to drain energy from. Starseeds would be useful too, but he didn’t always get that opportunity. It was easier to collect energy and then move on.
That night was no different, and he’d already collected a small amount of energy before he felt the aura of a senshi nearby and decided to flee. Now that he was alone, it was easier to track people down and drain them.
What he wasn’t expecting was for a knight to suddenly appear, just as he finished draining the energy of a man, and he was contemplating taking his starseed as well. He jumped up, nearly dropping the orb of energy as he spun around, searching for the source of the aura and the voice. He was so startled that he misjudged his footing and found himself falling backwards onto his butt with a hiss of pain.
This wasn’t good. He could feel the aura of the man with the lollipop, and even though he didn’t seem as though he was going to immediately attack him, Kamacite knew not to underestimate him. He needed to figure out a way to escape, and fast.
He didn’t respond to the man, but instead pushed his hair out of the way, making an attempt to stand back up without tripping over it.
