Ronga raised a hand to her mouth as she yawned. The sun was only just starting to peak over the horizon as the young girl made her way out of Ashen city. She was on her way to Lake Tyluafel to find an herb that she would need for a formula. If she wanted to start honing her skills she would need to get her head out of her books and start getting her hands dirty. She had heard her classmates talking about the Gold Petalia and she had hoped that some of them might join her... But it seemed that they were all talk. She had considered using the opportunity to travel away from Serenia but decided against it, especially since she would have been alone. So now, Ronga found herself walking toward Valley of Andrah where she would be able to then veer off the path and head right for the lake.

The only issue was that her classmates did not know what it looked like and they were not all that willing to help her figure it out either... It's not exactly like they are all friends. Ronga spent so much time with her nose in books that she missed out on a lot of friendship bonding and so she had become a bit distant from her classmates and mostly kept to herself. It wasn't that she didn't want to be friends but she just couldn't really bring herself to get out of her comfort zone.

The closer she came to the lake the brighter the sky was becoming. Picking up her pace Ronga stepped off the path and into a thin veil of the Aurinead forest. It had mostly tapered off this far north but it was still lovely to see. All those golden colors. It did not take long for her to cross through and right before her was the lake. Ronga glanced to the sky and saw that the sun had breached the horizon, she had to get to the Eastern bank right away or she could miss it! And after getting up before the sun she was not keen on having to do it again tomorrow.

Ronga hiked up the skirts of her dress and tied them off. It could get muddy and she didn't want to ruin her outfit. This was definitely not the best idea for an outfit for this but it was to early in the morning to think about it. To late for regret now and she went head first into the growth on the river bank when she got to the eastern side. She pushed through the plae green brush for a good hour before she caught scent of something that made her think of a summer day. She straightened up and stretched, looking around and she violet colored eyes caught something in the brush a little further up. It looked... Shiny.

Ronga weaved her way through the brush to where that spot seemed to light up, it was probably just glass. But she knew she could clean that up anyways, least some innocent creature get hurt on it. But when she used her left hand to push the brush out of the way she looked down in surprise. Something just clicked in her mind. This was the Gold Petalia, it had to be! She pulled out her bag and she gathered the herb, making her way from the bank of the lake.

"Oh finally. I was starting to think this stuff was just a wild goose chase."
She smiled as she looked into the bag and then shrugged off her tiredness and started to make her way back around the lake to the thinned forest and path. She looked back at the suns light and noted that had she come any other time in the day she never would have realized the Gold Petalia was even there.

Once she made it back to the path she headed back toward the college. Maybe she could make it back in time for lunch. Now that she thought about it, she was rather hungry.
