It had taken time since they left the portal to find out where they needed to go. After going into several wrong buildings, following the right group led them to the private chambers. Fishing through their pockets provided them with cards and after some mistakes, they managed to find a key to a door that worked.
Ushering everyone inside, Melvin shut the door and breathed out. "This isn't like the tower at all." He explained before looking at the room.
It was sparse, with little much than some furniture, one bed, and a laptop on a desk. A pack of tools sat beside the desk along with a case of strange, glowing stones.
Stretching his arms out and popping his shoulders, Elglav laid out on the carpeted floor. "This place is a mess." Too tidy. Too spotless.
He started to work off his jacket as he sat up. Too many layers.

"Indeed it's not." Nothing like the tower. This whole compound was confusing, but she could blame that on her ignorance. In a day or she planned to have most of it's layout memorized.
Sherry was looking around the room. It was fairly bland. It looked to be the type of room that held only essentials. Which was fine with her. They needed a place to work from, to be themselves in. "We won't be bothered here?"

"A practical dwelling," Ferian allowed, and prowled the room restlessly, checking into drawers and compartments. "Clean enough." It would do for a temporary residence.
He shrugged out of the white coat, making a face at the sand that still clung to his clothing. Some of the furniture had held clothes, and he moved to sort through what was there, making soft sounds of distaste at most of it. Nothing here was fine enough nor properly decorated. He eventually selected a silk shirt and a pair of clean trousers to change into, and did so without any particular sense of personal modesty. His friend would not mind, and his sister would not look.

"Private rooms. I doubt they would extend their resources to monitor all of them while sleeping." Elgav rolled over before getting up, pulling off his shirt and going to look for anything that would be a little looser to wear. Everything in this shell felt too tight and there was an abundance of flesh he wasn't sued to at all.
"We should work quickly. Find others and return."
He found some black t-shirts and went to tossing them out into a pile before sitting down to dig through them.

Sen nodded and hmm'd. "The quicker the better." She didn't want to be here any longer than they needed to be.
She watched as her brother and Elgav began to pick through what seemed to pass for clothing, before turning her attentions to the desk and things around it. "Tools," she mused. She picked up one, then another. Crafter's tools? It wasn't her area of expertise, but she was guessing. Interesting.
"If you find anything in those rags that looks... lady-like, please let me know," she said over her shoulder.
Her attentions, though, had shifted to the case with it's strange little stones. "What odd little things."

"Yes. I would prefer not to wear this ... disguise ... any longer than I must." It was distasteful to look so human.
Having changed, he returned his attention to the items he had been carrying in the other costume, looking through them and finding very little recognizable or interesting, other than a pair of blades. He tested the edge of one and nodded; it was adequate. "Where shall we start our search for humans who will follow us back to the desert? Shall we tell them others of their kind need their help?"

Tearing at the sleeves of one already ripped t-shirt, he stopped before going to start dumping out all the shelves. Opening them one by one, he dumped their contents out onto the floor as he searched each and every one before he stopped and pulled out something in a neat case. Opening it, he held out a set of clothes. "I found lady clothes." He called out.
He held the box out for her to take.
Putting the shirt on, he put on the jacket and then looked at his own pockets. Nothing useful. Wipes. No weapons or anything valuable. Some rocks. He dumped them on the floor too before getting up.
"Yes, we should tell them we need their help. Convince them to come with us. Hunters always come to the desert in packs like the ones before. We can do it again."

The things at the desk were interesting but likely to be unhelpful in their quest. She was carefully putting the tools back in their place when her attention was called for. "Oh? Thank you," she said, taking the box. It did have clothing that seemed more feminine than what the rest of the room held.
"They are fools, they will come," Sen agreed, turning her back and having her own outfit change. One needn't concern themselves too much with old friends and family around. The clothing itself didn't fit perfectly, but well enough, even if there was more flesh exposed than she would have liked. Humans. What was with these females showing off their chests? She might as well let someone from War clothe her, it was almost that bad in her opinion.
"It is," she said turning back and folding the coat she'd worn from the desert, "the best plan. They always come to help each other."
"How many do you think we can take back at one time?" Would they even get more than once chance?

Ferian hummed thoughtfully. "A small group," he suggested. "No more than three, to avoid being outnumbered. If they become suspicious, we do not want to be overpowered. But should we be successful, it is likely that more will follow to find out what became of the first." He ran his fingers though his hair to smooth it. "Shall we split up to find humans, or remain together?"
