He had decided, after the first few encounters, that he enjoyed meeting the ones in the faction called "Order."

Jet had more than implied - in fact, outright stated - his hatred of all senshi, especially the Order ones - but Gadolinite was finding the majority of his encounters to be amusing and entertaining in one form or another. It was probably because they were so - righteous, for lack of a better term. None of them seemed to be able to help themselves.

Like sheep, he thought, and grinned.

The restaurant was not abandoned; in fact, it had been open just that day, but it was an old shop, and it lacked the proper security that both kept people from breaking in and allowed cameras for monitoring. Gadolinite sat on the counter, legs crossed, idly munching on a cracker.

At his feet was a slumped over man. In Gadolinite's free hand was an all-too-familiar glowing orb.

"Do you all have to look so cocky after draining energy or is it just a special skill they teach you?" Meteora was leaning against the door way, her hand holding the side of her dress as she gazed at the senshi. There was no mistaking he was like the one who tried to bite of Kai's ear. A corrupt senshi if she remembered the term correctly.

She had only been going buy, on her way from a performance when she had decided to clock in some hours. It had only been moments after she powered up that she found his aura and tracked down the senshi.

"Because honestly, the cracker is a bit much."

Gadolinite hadn't moved, even after he'd felt the power signature begin to waft towards him. He did, however, look up at the voice as the woman spoke, Gadolinite's legs swinging idly where he sat. After a moment, he leaned back onto one hand, pose deliberately relaxed, insouciant.

A dark brow rose. He finished off the cracker, dusting his hands on the leg of his uniform.

"I vas hungry," said Gadolinite lightly. His gaze slowly tracked down the white dress, the bright, pastel colors, the dark hair, and he lifted his other hand, idly sweeping back the long, straight locks of black from one shoulder.

"Vat are you? Are you knight?"

"And here I thought it was all a ploy to look more proud of your energy draining." Meteora added in as she gazed down at the man there and shook her head. Poor man. Just trying to work and this big lug with an accent had made him turn in early.

Stepping into the restaurant, Meteora moved towards the senshi and extended her hand. "But I'm going to have to ask you to return that. You seem to have enough energy. I think he may need it a bit more than you. Especially to get off the floor."

Gadolinite's grin was just as lazy and insouciant as his posture, one leg swinging to rest over the other, foot jiggling a little. "I don't need to look proud to be proud," he said airily. His fingers curled around the starseed in his palm, then lifted it.

"You mean this?"

He turned it over in his palm, idly, as though it was a toy he was considering playing with. Gadolinite's gaze moved back to the woman.

"You haff not answered question," he said breezily. "What are you?"

Rolling her eyes, Meteora stopped in front of him, her hand still out stretched for the seed. "I figured you had already guessed as much considering you said Knight." She gave a huff, her other hand coming to her hip.

"Yes. I'm a Knight. Technically a page. Happy now? Or would you like me to also prove that I'm a woman too? Though I figured the cutouts did that."

Gadolinite merely grinned wider.

"You are woman," he said, and let his gaze wander deliberately down the page's form, then back up to his face, the grin turning purposefully lascivious. "That I need no help in knowing. Very pretty, too, but..."

He gave a melodramatic sigh.

"Sorry. I haff quota to fill."

Then he lunged, pushing himself off the counter, swinging a fist towards her side.

She had expected that look when she made the comment about her dress. It was the same look most men gave her so at this point, she was used to it.

"Thank you but I don't really care about your quota." Met offered, side stepping the fist only to once again prove why her dress sucked. While she should have been able to, mentally she believed, get out of the way of the punch, her foot found the end of the fabric and she stumbled.

His fist hit her hip sending the page back, falling over one of the tables and spilling onto the floor.

"Really..." Met's voice called out as she tried to unball herself from the dress. "Was that needed?"

He couldn't help the burst of laughter that escaped him as she tipped over, stumbling into the tables. Gadolinite took a step forward, expression bright and cheerful as he peered down at the page, making sure to keep enough distance between them to prevent her yanking him down with her.

"I suppose not," he conceded. "But you will not take my starseed. In fact..."

Gadolinite lifted it up, tossing it experimentally, a contemplative expression on his face.

"Sorry, but not sorry," he said airily, and threw the starseed into his mouth, teeth crunching, his tongue swiping across his lips, eyes glinting with amusement.

It had taken her far too long to get the dress untwisted from her legs. By the time she had, Met found herself at a front row seat to watching this man not just claim the life of the restaurant owner but...eat it.

"Seriously?" She knew enough from Kai to know what that meant. There was no helping the old man now. He was gone. "Was there a reason for that or were you just pissed at him because he ran out of the special?"

She wasn't back on her feet yet but she could at least grap one of the fallen napkins and silverware rolled together and throw the bundle at his head. There was something about the finite end to that man's life that just left her feeling...deflated.

Only in the back of her head did the thought flicker that if he ate this one, he would have to get more for the quota. Yanking at her dress, Met worked to get up between the fabric and the table. She had half a mind to power down and fight him as her human self. But that would be more foolish than...

Launching herself at his midsection.

He'd never eaten a starseed before.

It tasted -

He wasn't entirely sure how to describe it, but different. Gadolinite felt the burn all the way from the top of his head down to his toes, a tingling, sparking sensation that was almost like pins and needles or a burst of energy from an energy drink or one of those shitty tasting five hour things.

He lifted a hand, experimentally flexing his fingers. "I vanted to," said Gadolinite easily, and flashed the page a charming smile. "It vasn't too bad. I vould have preferred wine."

He felt strangely on edge, on the edges of adrenaline. Something cracked against the side of his head - a napkin bundle of silverware - and Gadolinite let out a violent swear in thick Russian, stumbling as he threw a hand up to massage his temple, almost tripping over his own hair in the process.

"Not - necessary - " he said, and then the page was slamming into him and Gadolinite stumbled back, hitting one of the tables and then all three of them - the page, himself, and the table - all came crashing down to the ground with an almighty cracking noise.

It hurt. The table had smacked into Gadolinite's arm, head knocking against the floor, and Gadolinite let out another stream of filthy curses, none of which were in English, and all of which sounded a mixture of annoyed, amused, and pained.

"That vas - get off - "

Gadolinite grabbed a fistful of the page's hair, trying to yank her off, even as stars exploded in his line of vision, skull hard against the tile floor.

To be honest she had not expected him to fall back so easily. But he had been so interested in his head that Met could only guess he hadn't seen her coming. That would have been a first.

"Ow ow ow...HEY!" Hitting her head against his chest had smarted. Getting it yanked backwards just hurt! "I've got a limited amount of that compared to you!" Meteora snapped out, her grip on him giving as her body leaned with her head. Like hell he was going to yank her hair out!

She relinquished her position atop him as she rolled off making a point to reach a hand forward. He wanted to fight like a girl with hair pulling? Fine...she could cat fight as she tried to reach his chest or head with her nails.

He released his grasp on the woman's hair, trying to shove her off of him, but she had the advantage in the fact that Gadolinite's own tresses were outrageously long as a senshi. Still, she was as feisty as a cat - he had to admire that, in spite of their tumble, and he felt nails rake painfully down the side of his face.

Gadolinite jerked his head away, cheek smarting, and slapped a palm onto a nearby table, trying to hoist himself up, kicking out savagely with one of his booted feet.

"You are tomcat," he said cheerily, though he sounded winded. Blood was starting to well on his face, long scratches down his jawline. "Very pretty and very strong. I like."
