“Aren’t you a little young to be out?” Kamacite asked with a frown as he finally caught sight of the senshi that seemed to be lost perhaps? She was probably still in middle school, if that. Kamacite lowered his hand from where he’d been clutching to the fabric of his robe over his chest, prepared for perhaps another White Moon who would give him trouble. This little girl seemed like she was just as unfit for fighting as he was.
“Just go home,” he told her, not in the mood to fight a kid, and instead turned back down the alley to finish draining a drunk who had passed out there. It wasn’t like he was hurting the man. He might take his starseed which would eventually kill him, sure. But it wasn’t as though Kamacite was sadistic and enjoyed causing people pain.
He was just doing his job. There was nothing wrong with that. Besides, sending kids to fight was kind of annoying. He’d come across young senshi and knights before, but this one seemed to be the youngest so far.
Kamacite held up the orb of energy to inspect, clicking his tongue lightly in disapproval since it wasn’t as much as he’d been hoping. The man had clearly used up a lot of his energy before passing out.
And then a thought came to him. Kids had a lot of energy, right?
“Hey,” he called back to her before she decided to leave. “Want to help me with something?” Just a little energy was all. Maybe he could manage grabbing her starseed too. Probably too ambitious for someone like himself, but it was a thought. Merurulince Please let me know if you'd like me to edit anything! <3

Sometimes Lepus wondered if perhaps she should start heeding advice and not be out late on her own so often. Lepus had been out patrolling, her nightly duty, as she was wont to do these days. She was alone tonight- sometimes she patrolled with Onnie, but Onnie wasn't always available- and Lepus didn't really have anyone else other than Etoile that she hung out with at night. Either way, Lepus had been patrolling when she had sensed the nearby presence of Chaos, and of a corrupt senshi at that. She was pretty certain it wasn't Victoria, because the aura wasn't as strong, but curiosity got the best of her anyway, and Lepus drew closer- after all, what kind of Defender of Justice would she be if she just let the bad guys do their thing? What caught the chibi offguard, though, was running into a corrupt who was actively draining energy. Lepus knew that leaving Kamacite to continue doing what he was doing was wrong, but, at the same time, she also didn't think it would be a good idea taking him on on her own.. and so, when he told her to leave, Lepus started to back off. It wouldn't do any good to stand around and argue over whether or not she was old enough to be out at night. But then... he started to call her back. Lepus was skeptical, and kept her distance- she'd watched enough of Unsolved Mysteries and assorted true crime shows to do so- but she also didn't run. "I dunno," she answered, uncertainly, "I don't think I can really help you with anything." Unless he wanted to see a neat magic trick. In which case maybe Lepus could get him to leave that poor man alone.

Kamacite frowned at the girl when she spoke, one because he wondered how someone like her could still be alive if she didn’t run when she should, and two because she was making it much too easy for him to just take from her what he wanted.
“Sure you can help me,” he said, his voice soft as it always was, holding out his hand to her after he tucked the orb of energy he’d already collected in the folds of his uniform by his waist. “It won’t take much, just hold out your hand,” he tried to convince her.
Yes, he felt guilty about it, but at least he wasn’t looking for blood. He didn’t like blood. It was messy and got all over the place and was nearly impossible to wash out. At least like this he could just drain her of her energy and move on.
“What’s your name? I’m Kamacite,” he introduced, figuring she might be a little more pliable if he was friendly with her. Most people were, even though they should know by now that it was a horrible idea.

It was true- Lepus could be naive at times, inexperienced as she was- but she was still learning, and she was't exactly that naive as to approach a corrupt senshi that she had just witnessed draining someone of energy. While she still had yet to run away, the preteen also didn't step any closer; Lepus knew enough to continue to stand her ground, and declined to get any closer, or hold out her hand. "Nah, I think I really can't help you with what it is you're needing help with," Lepus informed Kamacite, frowning, "And I think you should give that man back what you took from him."

”Are you sure?” he asked, frowning in disappointment. It wasn’t as though he liked the idea of, well, killing a kid, but she would probably grow up and cause them trouble later. Or perhaps he could get her to go with him and they could corrupt her, or turn her into a youma. At least that way she would be useful.
“His energy?” Kamacite asked, glancing back down to the passed out man, and then crouched down beside him, his hand hovering over the man’s chest for a moment before he let it sink inside, the chaos allowing him to reach for the starseed.
“There’s no point once I have his starseed,” he said with a quiet sigh. She didn’t seem like she was going to be doing anything to stop him. Probably wise. She would live longer that way. Unfortunately for all of them.

This wasn't really what Lepus had in mind when she had refused to help and had told the corrupt to give the man his energy back... but what did she think would happen? She probably should have left it at that, but then again, he probably would have stolen the man's starseed regardless, because, well, Negaverse. There wasn't much time to think up a new plan. She could use the panic button on her phone to send out a distress signal, but Lepus doubted help would arrive in time, let alone if she sent out individual texts. Thinking quick, she decided to take Titanite's advice from weeks past, and rushed at Kamacite while he was preoccupied, swinging her fist the way she had been instructed, aiming to punch him in the face. Hopefully it would pay off.

The little girl didn’t seem to be the type for fighting, but she proved him wrong, especially when she darted out to throw her fist at his face. Kamacite let out a yelp of pain when her fist made contact, his hand pulling free of the man’s body as he stumbled backwards, clutching at his bruised jaw.
He supposed he could fight back, maybe even try to steal her starseed as well, but he knew he probably just needed to cut his losses.
“Solar flare!” he cried out, the white light completely surrounding them in the alley, hopefully disorienting the girl long enough that Kamacite could escape. He left the starseed in the man’s chest, but he wasn’t going to give up the energy he’d collected. He scrambled up to his feet, doing his best not to step on his long hair and slipped down the darkened alley. Merurulince Fin? Thank you so much! I’d love to RP with you more!!

Her fist made contact, much to her surprise, and Lepus successfully managed to get the corrupt to back off... sans starseed, thankfully. It seemed those lessons had paid off, after all, as reluctant of a participant she had been in those. And then Kamacite called out an attack. The light was blinding, and Lepus raised an arm to shield her eyes. When the flash was gone, and her vision cleared, it appeared that the corrupt... had gotten away? It probably wasn't a good thing that he had gotten away, but as long as he had left (somewhat) empty handed, she didn't think anyone would be too terribly mad at her... if at all. She was just a chibi, after all. Guine fin!! ty i'd love to rp with you sometime again too!
