Kaien made his way to his cabin. He instantly got to his table with the large map on it. He was using a string and pencils to measure out where their next port was.
He was aiming for a place that supposedly has a mass of fortune hidden there. It was about a month and a half travel just to get there but he was trying to figure out if they could get to a good port afterwards. He cursed under his breath. This was frustrating as hell.
A few hours passed and he walked out with a bottle of alcohol. He damn fingers through his hair, seeing that Arwan was obviously struggling to keep the deck cleaned. Kaien ordered one of the others to help Arwan.
Kaien approached the male, puttting an arm over his shoulders, "The last guy we had jumped off the ship because cleaning was a pain in the a**. Until ou get better accustomed to it, I told another guy to hell you out."

"Oh... Thanks" he said leaning against the rail.
"I don't think I will jump off this ship... I have nowhere to go.."
"How long will I be stuck on this piece of wood?" He asked starting to mop again. his sweat hitting the deck, and then being mixed into the cleaning water.
He ran his hand through his hair, in a way so it would lie pushed back, out of his face. "Well, I think I am almost done.." he said moving across the piece of the deck he was currently cleaning.
He could not wait until he could clean the lower deck, as it was out of the sun.

Kaien smirked some, "There is the sea." He was simply being a smart a**.
Kaien's smirk went away and he eyed the male that was finishing up cleaning. However, Kaien tipped over his alcohol dump and he spread it around. "This isn't just a piece of wood. This is my baby. My prized possession is this damn ship. You will respect that, got it?!" He growled. "Clean up this mess."
He let out and he walked away. Kaien was easy to piss off, especially when it came to his ship. Arwan was the one that signed up for it. Nobody made him do it.

Arwan watched as the Capitan deliberately made a mess.
"There is no more clean water..." He protested but he knew it would go nowhere.
'this is no way for a prince to be treated... he thought grumbling under his breath. As the other male had his back turned Arwan rolled his eyes and stuck his tongue out at him.
"my prized possession..." he mocked quietly to himself

Kaien knew he was a difficult man to get along with. His temper is what kept people at a distance. Especially his crew. Kaien snapped at some guys that were slacking off. The male ended up in his cabin, slamming his door.
"He's going to get himself killed. By me." He spoke to himself. He placed the glass down and he plopped into his chair. He played with his compass.
He opened it, looking at the signs before he got up. He decided to stick in his cabin the rest of the day before he snapped on someone else.
He was ready to get himself into a fight.
The night rolled around and Kaien was in just pants. His jacket and shirt were on the chair. He was looking at the map again, "We won't have enough supplies. There isn't a chance." He was doubting himself.

Arwan knocked on the door that read "Capitan's Quarters". He had finished more or less, mopping the ship, all he had to do was clean the captains quarters.
'Ugh.... I don't really want to see him...' he thought, the thought of Kaien still bitter from when he made a mess with his drink.
He waited outside the door, not really wanting the wrath of the Captain if he woke him.
He was thinking that this whole idea was a mistake and could not wait to get to the next port, but he did not know how long that would be, so he prepared himself to try enduring whatever slave-like task he was assigned.
After waiting for a good ten minutes Arwan decided to go in, regardless. The first thing he noticed was the topless captain.
"I'm here to clean this part of the ship." he said with a slight poison in his voice.

Kaien ignored the knocks, simply focused on his own task. He was double checking to see how far the trip was and then the trip to return to port. Ugh. This was difficult.
Finally, his door opened and he looked up seeing Arwan. Make simply rolled his eyes "Just do what you need to and hurry the hell up." He pushed off the table and stood upright. He was kind of showing off his muscles and tattooed body. Kaien put the map away, tucking it into a drawer of his desk.
"Be prepared for at least a three and a half month journey." He stated to Arwan. The male leaned against his desk and crossed his arms over his chest.
He was going to watch Arwan clean. Arwan was rather attractive. Nobody knew, but this Captain preferred men over women, and Arwan was gorgeous. Kaien would just look over Arwan's body when he wanted to, but he didn't want to make it obvious either.

Arwan groaned to himself a bit as a reaction the Captain's trite demand, and also a bit at the length he would be stuck on the ship. Arwan took peeks at the Captain, who was undoubtedly hot, making sure it looked like he was just scanning for dirt to wash away when he was really stealing glimpses of the toned body that was just feet away. Arwan was not too interested in the princesses he was introduced, rather the princes he socialised with during formal gatherings. "What do you usually do on these long trips?" Arwan asked, humming a little tune very quietly to himself, not looking up from the floor, to which he was making sure was cleaned to a passable standard.

Kaien simply watched Arwan clean, looking from head to toe on the male. However, he was brought back to reality when Arwan spoke. "Oh. Well I try to figure out possible interest spots that we can go to. There are a few places my father has tried to find that I've tried to continue on the search." He shrugged. "If I'm not in here I'm at the wheel of the ship. Some nights me and the men tell stories and drink." He shrugged. "Do a little bit of everything." Kaien stated. "It may sound boring to you but to us it keeps us occupied. The other me often have games going on below too."

Arwan nodded in acknowledgement of what the Captain had said.
"Well, I am about done here." He said finishing up his task. "If it is alright with you, I'm going to bed... who know what slave task you give me tomorrow..." he said walking out of the finely furnished cabin. Once he had gotten on the main deck, he poured the dirty water over the edge of the ship and leant against it for a bit, relaxing slightly as he felt the finally cool dusk mist that sprayed on his face. He put the cleaning supplies back before heading down to where he was shown earlier, and as the captain had said, the other crewmen were playing some sort of gamblingesque game. He took his shirt off and placed it on the closest surface he could find. It was the first time he would be asleep on a ship not in a fancy well-furnished room. As he lay there, his mind kept going back to the attractive, rude Captian that ran the ship he was on. In no more than 20 minutes he fell asleep, tired from the day's activities coupled witht he soft rocking of the ship.

Kaien rolled his eyes, "You better watch that tone. I'll cut your tongue off and make you eat it." He added right before Arwan took off out the cabin door. The male grunted angrily. Arwan got on his nerves, somehow. The two barely spoke, but the snark comments set Kaien over the top. Oddly enough, he kind of enjoyed that Arwan did it. The other men didn't. Most feared Kaien.
After a while, Kaien went to bed himself.

The sun hadn't rose but it was early in the morning when he heard rapid knocking on his door. Kaien jumped and at up quickly. He could hear yelling out on the deck. Apparently two of his men where fighting over.. Well, who knows what!
Kaien got up and went to the door, opening it and was greeted with two men, swords drawn and fighting. The testosterone on the ship was unbelievable. Kaien growled and went to step in.
However the shirtless male had grabbed Dakota and in response, Dakota struck Kaien with the sword. A nice gash from his right shoulder down his chest about three inches.

Instantly, everyone that was cheering froze in dead silence. Kaien used the strength he could to knock Dakota down to his feet, using Dakota's sword to hold it against the pinned male's neck. "You're lucky I don't kill you! Unfortunately, I need all of you bloody idiots for this damned task. I swear under my dead father's name, if this s**t happens again.. I will kill you both. No if, ands, or buts about it. You men got that?!" He shouted. He left a knick on Dakota's neck before getting off of him. His own blood was on the deck and running down his body. "Get me a bucket of water and a rag. Now!" He yelled at Dakota, who scurried off to get water. "Find me someone who can sew and get someone to clean this mess." He said to Jeremy and then Kaien went into his cabin, slamming the door.
With the adrenaline, the sound hadn't started hurting just yet. He pulled out a medical kit that he got from a few ports ago, figuring it would come in handy. Sure enough, it was.

Arwan was sleeping pretty well until he heard a commotion up on the deck. He got up and went to see what was going on, he had arrived before the whole fight happened. He went up to see why there was any type of altercation, and he knew that Dakota was fighting Harrison over some kind of personal issue. Arwan could care less about the fight, as he knew little of how these guys knew each other before this trip.
He saw when Kaien got slashed with the sword and almost fainted at the sight of the captain's blood trickling out of the cut. He was approached by a now angry, yet timid Dakota "You, clean this mess." he threw the water and a rag at Arwan.
"Why do I have to clean this?" he asked defiantly. "You made the mess, I'm not your personal slave." He said throwing the rag back at Dakota. He started to walk back to his bed, as he wanted a bit more rest before the captain would storm out and give him some mundane task. But before he could make to the stairs he felt the rag hit him on the back. He turned and he saw Dakota and the others scurry onto some other task. "Ugh no I have to clean," he thought. At least he wouldn't have to deal with a damp shirt sticking to him.

He took the rag and got on his knees, and started to wipe the blood away. He was not used to this type of work so he did a poor job because his hands and knees started to get sore.

One of the other men tended to Kaien's open wound and wrapped bandage around his torso. He knew he had to clean the now stitched wound two to three times a day. He put on his shirt and jacket before stepping out of his Cain. However, he noticed Arwan scrubbing the deck.
Kaien moved to him, grabbing him by the arm and pulling him off the floor. "Why the hell are you cleaning this?" He let out. For some reason, it irritated him seeing Arwan on his hands and knees cleaning his blood mess.
"Somebody else come do this!" He shouted. He looked back to Arwan, "You do what I tell you, not anyone else. You got that? If the tell you to do anything, you tell them to take it up with me." He released his grip on Arwan's arm.
"You will see me three times a day to help tend to my wound. I'll need help cleaning and rewrapping." He stated.

"What do I look like? your personal nurse?" he asked. grateful that he did not have to clean that gross blood. He was a bit pale from being that close to the blood. "I don't want to do that," he said crossing his arms. "I do not want to see a gross wound three times a day." He stood there in awe that he was ordered to clean the wound, "Is there not an on board nurse?" At least he would be able to see the captain more, he thought. Kind of like the silver lining to the whole issue of dressing the wound.
"Now what do I do? as I can only do what you tell me to do." He leaned against the staircase leading to the upper deck. arms folded

Kaien smirked. He kind of liked how Arwan spoke back. Even if it did irritate Kaien, he enjoyed it. "Why yes. Yes you do. I bet if we were to dress you up as one, you'd look adorable." He rolled his eyes. "Whether you like it or not, that is what you're going to do. Stop being a little girl about it." Kaien stated. However, he looks at Arwan and huffed out, "if there were a nurse, don't you think I would use that instead of you?" He questioned.
He chuckled, "Go make yourself usefulk and help with the cooking. It is Lmoast breakfast time." He shooed the male back downstairs. There was a room for the men to sit together and the kitchen was attached to it.
