Before Bloodholme became the cursed land that it is today, this lake was known as the Lake of Moldraglen, a beautiful blue body of water loved by the Orcs that lived near it. After the Burning Invasion when Bloodholme was purged by fire and run through with demons the lake was forced dry by molten lava escaping from the breaking earth beneath it. Over time it dried and turned to stone, but lava kept bubbling through.

Now it is called Lake Moldrag, a large body of lava surrounded by dry, staggering hills and mountains. So upset is the land near Lake Moldrag that Conjured Elementals roam the area, causing it to be dangerous for even the Scarred that call Bloodholme home now. Walking lava is the worst for anyone coming here, whilst walking fire and earth scatter across the lake's edge.
