The Court of the Guiding Light
Returning those who are lost in darkness to the light. Be the light who guides the lost
The Court of the Guiding Light is a resurrection of an old faction who believe that both the Senshi and those turned to the Negaverse have lost their way. They believe that the Senshi have been left on their own with no leadership, no teachers, and no purpose. They also believe they are making no progress in destroying the Negaverse after years at war. The Guiding Light believe that the Senshi must be shown what their true objective is and that the Negaverse must be destroyed and all costs. Waver from this and you throw yourself into the darkness and deserve whatever fate comes to you. The Guiding Light seeks to show the Senshi the truth and to enlighten any who wish to learn. They are both teachers and warriors seeking to help their fellows and destroy their enemies.

- Arsinoe is working on the Grand Archive and trying to get others to agree with his mission.

RULES
Those of the Guiding Light are bound by the belief that the Senshi have strayed from their goals and are searching for things that have no meaning. They have no leaders and very few of them have anything they truly believe in. To this end the Guiding Light wants to focus the Senshi on what they should be doing, ridding the world of the Darkness of the Negaverse
Negaverse agents are centers of darkness and must be purified or obliterated. At All Costs.
The Senshi are fighting a loosing battle and must learn how to fight properly. They do not have the determination of the Negaverse and therefor must learn how to fight their enemy in smarter ways rather than relying on brute force.
The Guiding Light will take in all who wish to be lead from darkness. None will be turned away who wish for help.
Death will happen. Civilians will die. If it comes down to it Senshi are more important than Civilians and their lives must be saved even at the cost of innocents. We can not protect the peace of the universe if we are not willing to do what must be done.
Never be afraid of what you can do. Never be afraid of your powers.
There are no secrets in the Guiding Light. All information should be shared with any who want it. Keeping information to yourself means that you are denying others the proper tools to fight.
You may be part of the Guiding Light and of another faction but the destruction of the Negaverse must come first. Those who stray from this goal will be considered once again lost to the darkness.

Guiding Light Basics
Why would I want to join this faction?
If you believe that the world must be wiped clean of the Negaverse and the Senshi should be returned to their homeworlds then the Guiding Light is for you. The Guiding Light seeks to gather information on the past, the present, and do what it can to rebuild the world that was lost. If you seeks knowledge, tactical training, or support of those who believe that you can do whatever you set your mind to then you will find a home here.
What do I get out of joining the Guiding Light?
The Senshi seemed to be lost and aimless without a leader and without a true goal. Following the Guiding Light gives you a purpose and a focus for what you should be doing with the powers given to you. You also get a group of Senshi and powered individuals who will always stand beside you and will always be there to protect you. You were given a special duty and you are worth protecting because without you the universe would be lost to darkness.
What are the drawbacks to joining the Guiding Light?
The Guiding Light do not believe that they belong on earth or that they can stand up to the Negaverse alone. You must always be searching for knowledge and most not let anything else get between you and that goal. The Guiding Light are the saviors at best and a cult at worst and you must be prepared for others to see you this way. Cults are not always welcome, remember this.
Does my senshi have to attend meetings?
If a meeting is called you are expected to attend but these aren’t regular things. Arsinoe tries to keep up with each of the members on his own and make sure they know what's going on. He does occasionally ask that the Guiding Light gathers if he thinks there is something important enough to be shared with everyone. The Lights are expected to share any information they get when they can.
What does this faction do?
The Guiding Light seeks to enlighten the Senshi in the goings on of the Negaverse. They seek knowledge on the enemies so that the Senshi as a whole may better fight their battles. They also seek to find whatever information they can on the civilization that they lost so it can be rebuilt. They also train senshi in tactics so that no one has to blindly go into a fight and so that groups and other teams can better their group tactics. They are completely open with what they do and do not hide their offers of help from anyone.

Goals, Objectives & Beliefs
At all times the Guiding Light are seeking knowledge and the Destruction of the Negaverse. They go about this in many ways from those hell bent on fighting every Negaverse agent they come across, recon and information gathering on Negaverse agents, gathering information on home worlds and knights wonders, and guiding those who are not followers onto the correct path.
Knowledge is power
- Seek any and all information on the Negaverse.
- Seek any and all information on home worlds, wonders, or the lost civilization
- Teach others the Light so that even those who do not follow the Guiding Light will not be lost or alone.
- Never turn aside a chance to learn or to teach those about the Guiding Light.
- No matter how small the detail it could save us in the end.
Destroy The Darkness
- The Negaverse must be destroyed for there to be any hope for the universe. You should always endeavor to kill or purify anyone tainted by the Negaverse. They have made their choice and will pay for it.
- If you can not destroy them then find out all you can about the individual so they may be easier to deal with later.
Always follow the Light!
- Never lose faith in yourself and your powers. You are the one fighting to save what you believe in.
- No matter what the Negaverse or Dark Mirror might tell you, believe in what you know. Senshi can see where we came from. We know who we are.
- No matter the end result what you are doing is right.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Senshi is in another Faction/Group. Can i still join?
Technically no, you can only be part of one court at a time but The Guiding Light welcome all who wish to be shown the light. The faction believes that no matter the path as long as you are seeking the destruction of the Negaverse and the rebuilding of the old civilization then you are in essence following the Guiding Light. So you would have to leave your old court to join officially BUT they will not turn you away if you wish to join a lesson.
You are however expected to uphold the Guiding Light over all others. If your faction turns from the path of the Guiding Light you must return or be considered lost to the darkness.
Do I have to do something to mark myself as one of the Guiding Lights? Will i be marked permanent as one of the Faction?
No. Guiding Light members have no need to mark themselves permanent for the cause. They know that members will come and go and there will always be those lost to the darkness. Each member is given a token, a charm of the Guiding Light, and asked to keep it on their person. the tokens can be returned to the Keepers if any choose to leave the Guiding Light.
Can we really destroy Negaverse members?
The simple answer to this is that we honestly don't know. We do know that they can die and we do know they can be purified. There can be salvation for some of them but others are lost forever. But we do not know how, or if, we can destroy them forever. This will not stop us from trying.
Can we assume that we know things whether our Senshi was there or not??
No. If your Senshi does not learn something ICly then it can not be shared with the Guiding Light. Please respect that you must actually learn things ICly and do not assume your character learns things just because you know. We do ask that you share anything you do learn with the Guiding Light as it may help the war effort.

Members of the Guiding Light
The Guiding light do have ranks but they are loose and fluid. Members are all considered equal with those who founded the faction seen as the unofficial leaders. Members may easily move between the two factions as they grow as Senshi
Keepers of the Light - The founders of the Faction and those who have dedicated themselves fully to the Guiding Light
- Eternal Sailor Arsinoe
Flame Holders - These are the bulk of the Guiding Light. Those who are dedicated to the flame but have no aspirations to run the Faction and wish to just work toward their goals.

What do you bring to the Faction?: Energy-restoring senshi magic, plus some skill with first aid from her normal life, too. Asclepius has been doing a bunch of research and reconnaissance on her own, and would be interested in sharing knowledge, too.
What do you need help with?: She wants more connections, since her senshi magic is useless to herself and as an offensive weapon. And once she makes connections, she could stand to be less aloof.
General Information: Asclepius carries a first-aid kit with her on patrol, and also maintains a safe-house on the edge of one of the less affluent sides of town.
