Mash'al staggered off the platform and into the town of Zenner, "Damned floating death machines," he growled while holding his forehead, steeling his mind from the impending illness he felt creeping up on him since his feet touched solid ground. He had been raised on ships, traveled on the open seas for a good portion of his life but this blimp, is it called, was just too much for him to handle. Mash'al tried to keep pace with his eager brother Tyjah as they navigated the foreign marketplace, but before long nausea got the better of him, and he had to rest. Tipping his head back Mash'al tried to let his body adapt to the change in atmosphere; the air was so thin as compared to his desert home, the temperature was chilled and the air crisp. It was quite the adjustment, but Tyjah was adapting to it like a matori to water.

“Mash'al Look~” He chimed while whirling around the Marketplace, “Pretty Cute, Huh?” Tyjah indicated to the furry creature perched on his shoulder, “It's a local Familiar, A Telmna.” Seeing his brother's disinterest he crept closer, “Mash'al! I got it for you... as a present. You've been so focused on business lately you haven't had much time for beast taming... Figured maybe you could start here?”

Looking in his brother's direction caused an uneasiness in the Telmna; causing it to lunge from its perch on his shoulder and scurry away, “Well, That worked out well~” Mash'al chuckled as he watched the big-eared furry bounce away.

“Do something?!” Tyjah demanded, “I paid good coin to bring that thing to you... It's in your best interest~” He may have figured his brother would have a disinterest in such a creature ordinarily, but if there was coin invested... it would be worth the hunt to him.

“You little s**t~” Mash'al hissed while leaping to his feet and chasing after the ball of fuzz. Unwinding his weapon he gave a flick of his wrist and snapped a lash across the Telmna's back, causing it to skid across the earth. 'damn... ' He thought to himself while slowing his step, 'I wasn't trying to kill the poor thing... This atmosphere is really getting to me.'

“What the hell Mash! You didn't have to kill it?!” Tyjah cried as he approached, only to be stopped by his brother's reaching hand.

“I wasn't trying to...” He whispered while kneeling beside the creature. It was – a fair gash, would turn out to be one hell of a bruise, but hardly any blood; the creature was stunned. “Hmm,” Mash'al murmured to himself while picking up the creature. It was incredibly soft and... kind of cute. Don't know what use it would have as a familiar other than the sheer entertainment of watching it dance.

Mash'al gently massaged the creature's hoping to rouse it to consciousness, “I'm really off my game apparently...” He growled while raising it to look at its face, “It's still breathing so it's alive... Just-”

The creature's ears twitched, eyes slowly opened revealing a pair of dark brown saucers, “Hey there~” he murmured trying to remain calm and attempting to coax it to do the same, “You're alrig-”

The Telmna raised its head and winced, presumably from the pain in its back, then struggled out of Mash'al's grasp

“Hey there, Take it easy.” Mash'al knelt quickly to try to close the distance between the creature and the ground before it got free and scurried from his reach, “Hey-” He called after the telmna, “Get back...” Mash'al began pursuit but realized it was futile, “Here.” His voice trailed off, defeated; the damned thing wasn't going to give him the time of day.

“That's it?” His brother prodded, “You're just going to let it get away?”

Mash'al stared down his younger sibling with a hint of annoyance, “What the hell do you want from me?! The damned thing ran off.” he had neither the time nor the patience to deal with the situation between dealing with his own nausea.

“That's pretty Pathetic, Mash... Not. Gunna. Lie.”

Mash'al's chest tightened about as fast as his fists, and rage built in this throat, “None of this would have happened if you would have just kept to your damned self, Tyjah.... Now there's some pathetic excuse of a creature out there in the mountains, injured and bleeding-” he paused as he heard himself speak and let out a ragefilled sigh, “You sunova-”

“You won't finish that~” Tyjah mocked.

“I swear to-”
he began pressing his lips together trying to think of the words he wanted to spew at his brother, but instead he just turned away and began his climb into the wilds surrounding Zenner.

“I knew you had it in you~”
Mash'al heard his brother chime from the clearing. What he wouldn't give to hogtie that little s**t and beat him. He wasn't going to leave this Telmna to suffer out in the wilds, and he knew he couldn't return until he tamed the thing... Tyjah would never let him live it down~
