Giving colorist a month or two off where they don't have to do growths or stuff they don't want to do?? Like a colorist appreciation month??
Like maybe July for Yushi?? I was wondering if something like that might help colorists??
Maybe do a color your own things customers can color as gifts to colorists?

Ultimately, we are happy with how we handle self-care. We don't need designated months off per colorist, as our system allows for anyone who needs a break to take it ASAP. This is how we keep ourselves going the way we do. If someone needs a break, they just ask for it and we give it to them.
I want to add that while it may seem like we're overworked and the shop is struggling due to the amounts of hiatuses at the moment, I want to stress that 2017 is a year of change for us and we're figuring out how to alter NMA to make it reasonable for us. We started this year following a Meta and a HUGE coloring event that completely winded us. We have way more customers than before and trying to tackle the CYO the way we did drained us to the bone. Then, we launched right into an event. Due to all of this, a lot of us are taking the time for self-care to prepare for the future. We're going to change quite a few things about how events are run, how many are given out, and etc.
During this change, you're going to see us be tired a lot. It's a lot of work, but once it's completed and we hit our groove things will improve. So while there's several hiatuses and comments of being exhausted, NMA is not in danger and we have a system in place to give people the breaks they need, and when they need it. <3
