Rakel was always a spirited Nantil with a surprisingly playful nature for someone who came from the Ice Tribe. She loved to take a romp through the snow, she liked making friends (even if said friends didn't like making friends with her) and most of all, she loved Floofalo! She loved them so much, she decided that she would one day own the biggest Floofalo herd in the entire Ice Tribe! She didn't really have a reason behind her love of the beasts. Sure, their wool was the floofiest floof to ever be floofed, but she really just liked spending time with the beasts.
And yet, for all of her efforts, she was unable to acquire any of her own. Just one, she would say to the Grand Weaver before she went to sleep every night, just send me one Floofalo-even a baby would do! But alas, whenever she woke up, she wouldn't find a Floofalo at her side. That never stopped her from asking every night though. She was a determined young b'alam, after all.
Eventually, she figured out that she would have to go down one of two paths. Either she would have to find a fellow Ice Triber who already possessed a Floofalo (herd or one, it didn't matter) and convince them to give her the beast, or she would have to find a herd in the wild and declare it as hers! So, today, the latter was just the thing she set out to do! She had walked all throughout the winter forest, her sniffer in the air for the musky scent of Floofalo wool, when she finally caught scent of something warm. She couldn't be sure if it was a baby Floof or an adult or maybe something different altogether. So, she stalked it, hope growing in her chest as she plodded through the snow, before finally coming to jump in front of...! Another Nantil.
"Aw, c'MON!!" She huffed, her breath showing up in the cold. "You're not a Floofalo!" She narrowed her eyes suddenly. "What is a non-Floofalo doing in these woods?" Was this other Nantil here to steal her herd-to-be?
