Normally when Leucite went hunting, he did so without any particular target in mind. Tonight, however, was an exception to that. He was actively tracking the signatures as he felt them, weeding out the ones that were obvious Lieutenants and focusing solely on Captains. It was as close to the adage a needle in a haystack as one could get - but Leucite had the benefit of teleportation on his side, so he was able to cover far more ground than he would normally. Sure, it was a drain on him long term - but he wasn't planning on engaging in combat that evening and if he had to he'd... just teleport to Negaspace and call it a night. No, his mission tonight was to find Titanite. He had seen her engage that berserk Mars Knight and he wanted to be sure he was okay. That night was still a blur of haze and pain and anger for him - but his wounds had healed, and a plan was slowly working its way to fruition to ensure he got his revenge - for that is what it was, revenge - on that Knight who had laid him so low. Finally he tracked down the signature he was looking for, and once he got within visual range of the Captain, he forced himself to stop. He would give her time to sense him - to see him and reply to him. He still remembered their last meeting - she was wary, and rightfully so - but he hoped this would help assuage that. "Captain Titanite... I had hoped to find you well."

Titanite felt great. She had barely been wounded in the kerfluffle with whatever had been going on between the higher-ups and that knight, she'd been introduced to Sexy, she'd met a few new Order members to try and 'connect' with on an energy level, and she was learning to teleport, which was the best thing since sliced bread. She couldn't do it often, but once was hopefully enough to get her out of s**t creek. Her biggest issue was that in her powered form, she still felt like a deer getting used to her legs. So much power made her misjudge punches, and she chose not to use some of the Negaverse training spaces because she wasn't comfortable in them. Nor could she walk into a civilian-run space in uniform and ask to borrow a punching bag. She could, however, use trees. And that was what she was doing. The tree of choice was thick, and she was taking the time to line up each punch, each kick, before going at it. Testing how her speed and reflexes moved. Captain Titanite... I had hoped to find you well.A familiar voice, and Titanite welcomed the rest, turning her head to consider the man who had approached. "General Leucite. I am quite well, thank you. I heard you were a bit injured. I hope you're recovering?"

"Recovered, well, mostly. Some parts are still more sore than other and extensive damage was done to my pride - but I will survive." He said with a smile. The knight might not when it was all said and done, but that would have been petty to say aloud and Leucite knew better than to make oneself look petty in this situation. "You fought well - I saw your fight with that beast of a knight. Very good job on the tactical retreat. It is never good to put yourself in a position where you cannot retreat. A mistake I made that evening." He said. He took a look a the tree, and hummed a bit. "You know, I do own a gym of my own... Well - co-own kind of... It's complicated but that's not the point. If you'd like I could probably get you a membership at a discount." Not free, Imara would kill him if he gave anyone anything free after helping out his cousin's friend. His arms crossed in front of his chest and he chuckled. "Again - just an offer. It's a gym catered to Mixed Martial Arts so if figured it could be useful."

"It is good that you are recovering well, General." It was politely phrased, her accent mooshed down to as understandable and clear as she could manage, careful diction. She pulled away from the tree, turning to face the General in lieu of the stubborn trunk, considering him. "Pride is easy to lose and easy to regain. The rest is harder." she tilted her head, considering him. "He is... an interesting opponent. I have fought him before. I enjoy it." she glanced down at her hands, at the spikes on her gloves. "I almost broke his nose, once before. Perhaps next time I will." unlikely, but anything was a possibility. "It is enjoyable, to fight only for the sake of it. Freeing. Relaxing. Challenges are enjoyable, when there is little enough risk." Sparring, mostly. She liked to have an enemy she could give her all against. Red was one such enemy. Higher-ranked Negaverse officers, perhaps, but some of those might take it far beyond enjoying beating up on each other and try to turn it into actual work. That was not the goal of her sparring. She improved at her own pace. As he suggested a discount, Shahar did not bother to try and look disinterested. She had a gym, but... a discount meant more to drink. "MMA is always useful. There would be people to spar, there. New techniques to add. Defenses and new people to improve against. As a civilian, I assume?"

"He is, one that I look forward to crushing underneath my boot when the time is right." Leucite added with a chuckle, giving her a small nod. Her assessment for fighting was the exact reason he'd gotten into the ring himself. He enjoyed it - the pulse pounding thrill and adrenaline rush of it. "Have you ever thought about entering the circuit?" Leucite asked with a small grin. "I'm currently working my way through the Amateur Heavyweight circuit myself. I'd be more than happy to hook you up with a good manager and coach for you. There's good money to be made even in lower tier fights." "That is - if you're interested in fighting other civilians as a civilian of course."

Titan was probably much less pleased with the idea of Leucite stepping on the neck of Red than she should be, for the years she had spent as a member of the Negaverse. Somehow, though, she couldn't quite muster up enthusiasm for someone who had fled the Negaverse getting bootstomped by a man the size of Leucite. She tried though, baring her teeth in a mockery of a smile as he chuckled. "I have not considered the circuit," she said at last, "for while I have many years of practice and training, my desire lies elsewhere. The circuit can end in some injuries that would make it more difficult to pursue my career of choice." Titanite crossed her legs, considering. "Money, however, is a consideration." If she was fighting she would have to cut down on some of her drugging. Alcohol though, would remain fair game. She might be able to go take some extra classes. Buy that new console she wanted. "I suppose it would not hurt to allow you to introduce me." She shifted her weight to her other foot. "My bigger issue," Titan confessed at last, "is that I spent so long as a Lieutenant my greater power is knocking off my perception of required distance. I try to cope and I fall into old muscle memory that is no longer valid. I have no such issue as a civilian."

If Leucite caught Titanite's discomfort - or lack of enthusiasm, he didn't let on, instead he chuckled and nodded his head. "The circuit can be a bit of a challenge to get into. Not a lot of female fighters, so the fighting pool is smaller - the fights tend to draw plenty of people though." And people meant money. "Well then, I'll give you one of my cards, you can swing by the gym and we'll see about getting you set up." He reached out and patted her lightly on the shoulder. "As for your issue..." He moved over to the tree, summoning his spear and making two strikes into an x on the trunk that was easily within her reach. "The new power - the strength, the speed - it does take some getting used to. Focus on this x - let it be your target. See how many times you can land dead center. Focus on technique - not speed or strength just yet. Go back to your fundamentals."

Titanite considered for a moment. Looked down at the ground, lips pursing, and then she said dryly, her heavy accent drawling out the words- "I will fight men, too. If there is money involved, I am not picky." Not when it came to anything physical, if enough money was involved. Fighting and prostitution were just two different ways of making money with her body. Both could pay the rent. Both were actually valid career paths, if she decided to 'ditch' archaeology. Yet one had that stigma, and-- Now was not the time to get started on that train of thought. "I appreciate that offer, General," she said lightly, and watched him move past her, to the tree. Watched the X go over the small dent where her fist had been punching. It was larger, more eye-catching than a simple hole. "It makes me feel a bit like a newborn animal," she said dryly, "just one not afraid of the hunting lions."

"In that, you aren't quite wrong," Leucite said with a low, well-humored chuckle. "As you gain more power, your body has to adjust accordingly, much like a fawn must learn to walk after it is born. Though in our case, we should never be afraid to hunt lion, tiger, or bear..." He left the requisite 'Oh, my!' out of the sentence simply because he felt it might be a bit too on the nose and also because he wasn't sure Titanite would necessarily get the reference. Leucite would be the first to admit that he was far from culturally aware or educated. What time he had spent out of the country had mostly been restricted to the Japanese Islands and that had only been for two years. He could probably have asked his father more about the Middle East and it's regions but he doubted anything he'd glean from that would be... well... not racist. All the same, he moved away from the tree and stood behind Titantite. "Well then, give it a shot. See if it helps you any. I'd like to see your technique as well if you don't mind." Who knew, maybe he'd actually get her to spar with him - thought she had an advantage with her weapon being made specifically for hand-to-hand.

"I do not care for it," Titanite retorted, making a face. "I am no fawn, General, and I would appreciate kindly my body not trying to make me feel as one." she glared down herself accusingly, and shoved a lock of hair out of her face. Then her brow raised, and she drawled "Oh my~" letting the phrase hang in the air. Honestly, General- a Wizard of Oz, reference? She did, perhaps, need to update him on his attempts at pop culture. It would be doing a duty to the Negaverse to see if she could maybe get him to the Lion King references. Yet the General moved out from between her and the tree, and she considered the mark first. "I'll show you what I had been doing," she told him, and moved to the position she had been in. Arms-length away from the tree, lined up with her small, fist-sized target. And then she continued her careful practice, testing distance, speed; slowly increasing her speed until she hit the level of familiarity, that her body knew, and then- Crack! Another thump into the tree, too fast, too hard, and too off-target.

"Too fast, keep it slow - focus on your fundamentals." Lecuite chided Titanite, shaking his head. "Don't go full speed - not for a bit. It'll take time, you can't rush this. That's a good way to get hurt." He said with a small nod. "Try again." He would push her if need be. He was a superior officer and he would do what was required to see to it that she improved, but at the same time he didn't want her to hurt herself and then have to take time off to recover. "Focus on the follow-through too, don't pull back - that's a good way to break a wrist."

Titanite's face twitched. A single flash of clear, fierce irritation. Shahar was never a patient person with someone over the age of about 12. Leucite was certainly not 12. It was a flash of the temper that she usually kept carefully tamped down and restrained as much as possible among those who could, you know. Break her with a pinkie. She knew he didn't know she had been kickboxing almost her entire life, but honestly-- she'd been doing this, it just wasn't... Frustrated, she less-politely made another pass at the tree- a simple, generic maneuver that she knew far better than she knew breathing. Her fist slammed into the tree. Followed up by a kick to the tree. Cracked the tree. But was accurate.

If Leucite cared if he upset her he didn't show it, he remained where he stood, keeping his arms crossed in front of his chest. "Good, good... If using your anger helps you focus - give into it when you fight." He said with a small grin. "Turn that rage against your target - smash them into naught but splinters." He didn't know - nor care - about her experience. Only that she was capable but she was letting her mind get in the way. Letting her pride and arrogance get in the way of her body catching up with her power. "Yes, I think you will do nicely in the ring... They generally don't do co-ed fights... But who knows, maybe we can find a venue that is willing to... look the other way." He added with a chuckle. He'd have to be careful - he didn't want his name attached to an unsanctioned fight - but at the same time - it could work out.

"Look, Darth Leucite." in her anger, her accent was growing thicker, and then flat out grump. "إذا كنت أرغب في استخدام الغضب سخيف بلدي، وأود أن استخدامه. لا اريد! يمكنك أن تأخذ الغضب الخاص بك ويمكنك وضعه في مربع، أو جعل دسار للخروج منه وتدور على ذلك." it was a vehement, angry mutter as her face grew redder, and redder, and this time- Oooooo. SO angry. But he had a use for her to take advantage of yet-- and he hopefully didn't speak arabic. If he did, did she care? She punched the tree again, focusing on how much she would like to maybe whack him in the face instead of the tree. The tree hadn't done anything to her! He mutters and grumbles were low, annoyance pinking her tanned ears. "If I decimate the women, they'll have no choice." her thick accent may or may not have been understandable. Hopefully, he'd get the picture. "It will give me someplace to start."

Luckily for Titanite, Leucites knowledge of Arabic was - sorely lacking. He could venture a guess just by tone and her annoyance - and had he not been goading her and poking at her nerves to get exactly this reaction from her he would have brought swift judgement on her right then and there. But, he had no desire to push her further. "I'll hold you to that then." Leucite smirked, watching her for a long moment before allowing himself to power down long enough to pull a card from his pocket and place it next to him, before powering right back up and picking up the card. "Now then, if I've gotten you worked up enough, why don't we go and celebrate our new business partnership with a few drinks, hm?" He held the card out to her with a grin.
