It was amazing, Abigail found, how easy it was to impress people with the simplest of tricks. She wasn't even really et up fr a big show, just some basic card tricks in a small open square in one of Destiny City' many, lovely parks, but she still had plenty of eyes on her and at last a few dollars being thrown into her tip hat.
Still, there were better ways to get her food money than just hoping enough landed in the hat - an that was why, while she laughed and bounced and pulled off some casual sleight of hand, she was watching the crowd for anyone who looked like a good mark. Didn't have to be rich, just had to be carrying a wallet - a few dollars would buy her something.

Alex saw the woman performing card tricks out of the corner of her eye, she was out on a little trip with her big sis and hania. Alex loved street shows like this so she tugged on Kailey's shirt. "Sis come on lets go check it out."She begged while already trying to drag the woman with her over to the cards.

Her attention was elsewhere for the most part, more focused on her phone and keeping tabs on where Alex and Hania were, rather than the entertainment around them. But when her younger sister began to tug on her shirt, she shoved the phone into her pocket, blinking a little down at the smaller girl before following the line of where she was directing towards.
"Alright, alright," she said automatically, even as she still tried to fugue out what it was. Took a moment to realize Alex was referring to the girl doing card tricks, a corner of her mouth ticking up in amusement. Magic tricks. It'd been a while since she'd seen stuff like that. Not... senshi magic. Other magic.
In some ways, better magic.
"You should learn to do stuff like that. That'd be really cool to see," she grinned down to Alex, adding with a small snort, "And you can even have a certain feline for an assistant."

Hania couldn't easily go see magic shows, for obvious reasons, but street performances were always a welcome thing to come across. Sure he was around actual magic on the daily but there was something about the wonder of quick hands and misdirection that was a complete joy. Either way he had no trouble following after Alex when the young girl asked to go watch, though as they got closer to the crowd the feline did jump up onto Kailey's shoulder so he couldn't get stepped on. "I certainly wouldn't mind helping you out with that." Hania said with a cat grin but kept his voice low so as to not catch attention from anyone not in the know. The grin faded though when he registered a familiar pull in the direction they were headed and he started to look at the crowd and the young magician in front of them, trying to pin point who it was exactly.

Abigail scanned the crowd, thoughtfully. There was a new group, who all seemed to be together, and her assessment of the clothes both of the girls were wearing, offhand, was that they looked very nice. And, well, maybe that just meant Mommy or Daddy had money, but that might be enough, especially if Mommy or Daddy had given their girls charge cards or something equally fun.
She'd just have to get their attention, and get them up close.
"Now, for my next trick, I'll need a volunteer from the audience. Anybody want to help a girl out?" She chirped, brightly, exaggerating her Cockney accent slightly. As she said it, she let her eyes drift over the crowd, and then linger on the two girls with the cat.

Alex liked the magician girl's accent, it was like a fun British accent. When the girl called for a volunteer Alex bounced with excitement.
"Ooh Ooh me me!" Alex shouted jumping up and down with her hand in the air. She definitely wanted to be magician's assistant.
She pushed through the small crowd leaving her sister and guardian cat behind as she made her way to the front.
"I want to help! Can I?" She asked excitedly. The pink wallet her mother had given her for emergencies stuck up half way in the back pocket of her shorts.
