A chorus of honeyed welcomes and girlish laughter beckons trolls in the crowd to break loose and wander into a booth full of games and glamor. Banners wave in the summer breeze seeking strong heroes to join the ranks of Alternia's military reserves. Pamphlets and literature are scattered around the booth and it's various game courses. The JROTC has pulled out all the stops this sweep to entice trolls through booth babes and pretty prizes. With such a variety of challenging games, there's sure to be one that steals your interest.
All you've got to do is follow the sirens' song!
Rollover will happen at 12 AM Pacific Daylight Time! Yamashii or Doutei will post the rollover and quote ticket winners.

Join the JROTC and partner with experts to train you to be as ready as you can be for your eventual military service. Those already in the military are welcome to join and meet up with juniors in order to mentor them or answer questions to help those following in your footsteps. The organization is open to trolls of all ages!

Freebie-kini: It's Bikini Boot Camp, of course we're handing out free bikinis! Get fabulous, Alternians! Watermelon Beach Ball: Not quite as sweet as the real thing but still a treat to play with. Don't lose it in the ocean! Participation Pin: A pin on button with a smiling watermelon for everyone who comes by the booth. It is happy to see you but you can't help but notice the watermelon carnage in the background of the booth... Bubble Bottle: A small bottle filled with bubble solution that can be blown through a bubble wand. The container has the booth's mascot on it as a form of advertising. Medical Waterbottle: A sturdy water bottle with a special straw to prevent it from flying out of the bottle and getting lost. They come in the entire range of hemospectrum colors including a hemo anon option. Stay hydrated, Alternia!
Grand Prix - Seashell Set At the far end of the booth you notice an extra sparkly display... Upon inquiry, you are told this set is not part of the free swag but rather the Grand Prix tier for the most devoted soldiers-in-training!
Commissioned by the generous Lorata Gorgos, this set is one of a kind and the pieces of it are only attainable at the end of Bloodfest. Each piece will be raffled off via participants in the four different games of the Bikini Boot Camp. The items can be altered to fit the winner's body shape so trolls of every age and shape should feel free to enter for them. You've all got great bikini bods! Or you will after this booth's training!

"Wanna try something fun? C'mere!" A voice calls over. Lounging in a lifeguard chair, a tall yellowblood smiles and pulls a string. Obviously rigged to something, at first it's unclear what she meant to do. Then, suddenly a bunch of watermelons come flying over the edge of the nearby small waterfall, crashing into the river to continue their course. She laughs delighted and challenges you to go in there and try to smash or slice all of the watermelon she releases at you.
"Are you up for the challenge?" Scorpa's eyes glitter, daring you to show her what you can do!
How to Play: Players will roll 10 d6 to generate a total score to see how successful their attempt at watermelon training went! Whoever rolled the highest total for the day will receive one raffle ticket from this minigame! There is no word count minimum for this game. If you roll low, it's okay, there are still other minigames being run by the other Sirens that you can try!
Results 10-20: Utter Failure A swing and a miss! Times twenty. For whatever reason, you fail to best these melons and they shower you in pain. Once the pelting is over, you wake up in the first aid section of the booth being tended to by Flydra and are instructed to review basic coordination for next time. On the plus side, you've worked on your pain endurance for the day, right?
18: Special If your result is 18 please complete your RP as an 'Utter Failure' (up above) but quote Doutei for a special prize!
21-30: Worse than average This is not going well! Ducking and dodging, you manage to avoid getting knocked out but fail to smash very many watermelons. You were just working on your reflexes, weren't you? At least that sounds like a good excuse. Scorpa reminds you the goal of this game is to smash the melons, not dance with them.
UPDATED This game has proven to be a bit broken! So I'm altering the results for 31-40 in order to give you all a better chance at getting to respond to a different prompt! Really sorry about the unbalanced results that have been happening! 31-32 = utter failurefail 33-34 = worse than average 35-36 = average 37-38 = better than average 39-40 = awesome
31-40: Average You hit some you miss some. The watermelons and you are evenly matched... Hey it's called TRAINING, so any onlookers leering at you can just hold their tongues! Scorpa doesn't holler at you, nor does she look particularly inspired but she does give you a nod of acknowledgement.
41-20: Better than average It's harder than it looks but you're making it look easy! Bits of watermelon splash around the river, floating on down to the Watermelon Graveyard. You've done well. Scorpa gives you a grin of approval and chatters about how you'd make a fine soldier in the future. Collect a Pradapalps Plushie for your efforts!
51-60: Awesome Watermelons beware! You're a force to be reckoned with! Whirling about the river, not a single watermelon gets past you! When you're finished, the blood of your foes swirls down to the Watermelon Graveyard. Scorpa cheers and descends upon you to invite you to come to talk with the other members of the JROTC after Bloodfest... ((Please quote Doutei if you are interested in an RP meeting with the JROTC group and any other eligible members from this result. If not, don't sweat it and don't worry about quoting!))

Lorata Says
"Hello there!" A pretty seadweller waves you over from her seat by the booth. "Want to play a game of Lorata Says? You might win a prize or two!" Leaning forward, she explains that the idea of the game is to test for the most important skill every soldier in the royal military should have: the ability to properly follow orders from higher authority! Then she claps once and excitedly continues with the game rules. "When I say 'Lorata Says', do what I tell you! But only when I say Lorata Says, okay? Ready?" It isn't until the game starts that you really notice the box full of water balloons right beside her...
How to Play: Roll 10 d4. See how many even numbers you got in sequence to determine how long you managed to stay in this game of Simon Lorata Says and get your score! For instance, a roll of (1, 4, 2, 3, 2, 3, 1, 2, 4, 2) would give a score of 3 because the three numbers at the end are the longest evens sequence. Every odd number you roll is a failed round and gets your troll pelted with a water balloon! The troll with the highest score of the day will receive a ticket or, in the event of a tie, the ticket will be raffled!

"Are you even trying?" Scowling, Lorata reaches for another water balloon and throws it full force at your head. Next thing you know, you're opening your eyes to Flydra looming over you, bandages on your head and arm. Maybe that one wasn't a water balloon...?

"Ah," Lorata says after a moment, taking in how soaked you are. She seems unimpressed, but at least she isn't angry."Well, you'll do better next time, right?"

"Hmm. You're not quite there yet, but it was a good effort." The seadweller smiles. "That's all you need to start though! You've just got to want to do better! Here, take one of these bobbleheads, aren't they just the cutest, and come try again okay?" She waves you on cheerily. Collect one bobblehead for your prize!
6-9:
"That's it!" Lorata beams at you as the game ends. "You've got the hang of it! Just a little more work and you'll be a perfect soldier one day, I'm sure of it!" Giggling, she hands you a pamphlet and motions you towards the prizes. "And I can help with that, you know!"Collect one MeduMa plushie or one bobblehead of your choice!

There's a couple seconds pause after the last round of the game before Lorata reaches up to slowly remove her sunglasses, staring at you all the while. She seems ridiculously pleased and impressed that you paid enough attention to her for a perfect score. Finally catching herself with a cheery "Good work, soldier!", she personally shows you to the prizes, lets you take your pick from the bobbleheads and plushies she has, and then hands you several JROTC pamphlets on top of it. "Come and see me again soon, okay? I'll even let you throw a few balloons!" She winks. Collect one MeduMa plushie and one bobblehead of your choice!

FIRST COURSE: THE QUAD STEPS
1. You get through them fairly easily, jumping through it with grace and ease. Austri raises an eyebrow. (PASS) 2. You just barely manage to get through. Austri calls out something that sounds more like an insult than an encouraging cheer. (PASS) 3. You jump off the first one and manage to slam into the second one face first. Austri has to hold onto something to keep herself from falling over laughing. (FAIL) 4. You manage to get through it, though it was very average. Austri isn't impressed. (PASS)
SECOND COURSE: THE WIND CHIMES
1. You jump from one to the other in a blaze of glory. Austri's other eyebrow raises. (PASS) 2. You jump and cling to one of the wind chimes, but on your first one, you slide straight into the small pool underneath. Austri sneers. (FAIL) 3. Austri watches you just barely get through the chimes. Your feet land on the mat, and Austri wrinkles her nose before she juts her chin to the last course. (PASS) 4. You get near the end and on the last one, your grip fails. You flail a little with your legs still on the chime, but in the end, you fall back first into the pool. Austri is laughing at you when you come up for air.(FAIL)
THIRD COURSE: THE BOUNCING BALLS
1. You jump off the mat and while one leg lands on the first ball, the other stays suspended in midair. Austri watches your balancing act for five seconds before a gust of wind blows you into the water. Austri winks at you and giggles from afar. (FAIL) 2. Jump, jump, jump! You get through three before your legs stretch out too much and the ball below you slams you right in your privates. (FAIL) 3. Your foot almost makes it to the last mat and falls right through a hole. Your face slams against the mat and you think you lost a tooth somewhere. (FAIL) 4. You make your way through with the poise and grace of a royal. Austri claps approvingly and gives you a full on thumbs up. You've earned her approval! (WIN!)

Ice Ice Baby
"Be a hero, try the Ice Container Challenge..." A pigtailed girl beckons you over to try a simple game at her booth, proclaiming that it won't take very long, a minute tops. She explains that two important traits for Alternian heroes are having strong endurance and stoic demeanor when it comes to pain. In order to test your hero potential, Flydra takes a container filled with ice and cold water and pours it over your head to drench your whole body. This tests your pain endurance and resolve. Don't worry, if you pass out or injure yourself, Doctor Flydra will patch you right up. Roll 1d8 to see the results of your attempt. This game is completely optional and does not reward tickets. Impress her enough though and you might win a prize!
If you've been sent to Flydra as a result of failing another booth game, you can opt in to doing a PRP of her patching you up and doing other various medical... things. Just quote me in your failed dice roll post and indicate that you'd like to do this option. I'll make a thread in the RP subforum for us.

Best part of summer was the endless amount of eye candy Eridia could ever get. This booth in particular caught her attention wholesale. The prizes were good and the trolls running it were HOT. So the purple blood decided to try out their games even if it got rowdy. Besides, a little pain never hurted nobody.
First off she went to smash some watermelons and did ok. She knew she could do better but hey, she was paying attention to the trolls around not the game itself.
After the mishaps at the honey booth, Zeylla was a little frustrated. Seeing a booth where all she had to was smash watermelons? Perfect.
She jumped in with enthusiasm she rarely showed, and went to work on those melons, smashing every one she possibly could, though with her mind more focused on relieving frustration then completing the the task perfectly, she missed a few.
She dropped the bat on the ground with a ting as she finished, and felt a little bit of pride as Scorpa nodded at her.
Feeling confident she moved on to the next activity...
...Zeylla felt her confidence drain as she attempted the next activity. Which basically ended with her being continually pelted with water balloons. And with each balloon chucked at her by a rather loud and aggressive seadweller, Zeylla felt her anger rising again more and more. She did not like losing and did not like doing badly, and that was exactly what she was doing.
She gave a loud angry outcry as she messed up again, but when she looked up at seadweller, she felt that the water balloon looked quiet odd.
She woke up with a groan, soaking wet and a massive, terrible goose egg forming on the side of her head. She stood and huffed, brushing the pain off as the seadweller grinned at her and her defeat, before stalking over to the next event, eager to prove herself where she had just failed...
...And for some reason, she thought she was going to do well. But maybe it was the lump on her head, or the impending panache. Either way, Zeylla knew even before she jumped that this was not going to end well.
And end well it did not. Her face now hurt just as bad as her head, and Zeylla tasted blood in her mouth, which she swallowed with a shudder. She had evidently bitten the inside of her cheek when she came down on the mat.
She tried hard to ignore the laughter coming from the greenblood running the course, but couldn't, and so she shot her a nasty glare that said 'Shut up, I'll be back just you watch and see!'
She wasn't going to let that stop her though, so she moved onto the last event, with just a bit of trepidation...
...She figured it couldn't be that bad a challenge. Surely nothing like the obstacle course she had just....attempted. Zeylla stepped up with a a decent amount of confidence, but when the water was poured over her, she couldn't breath for a moment and her head pounded even worse. She gasped for air, but that wasn't the worst part.
The worst part was the ice cubes that had managed to somehow slide into her one piece, and were now unreachable unless she went and undressed to get them, so Zeylla walked away from the bikini boot camp stiffed legged and backed with a horrible panache as the ice melted in her swimsuit.
She needed a treat after that horribleness. And she'd be back tomorrow, to try again. She couldn't stand the laughing eyes of those four trolls, and she was going to prove them wrong!
