A brightly lit restaurant that can be found in Onisato. A small, flat building with wood siding, the name of the place is clearly displayed on a sign above the door. Before walking in, viewers can see the specials of the day and the deals they can find inside especially on their specialty: noodle bowls. Though nothing to write home about, it's one of the only restaurants in Onisato, so they do rather well solely based on this fact alone. Inside is bright and warm, attributing the place to its name. There are several tables along with a large serving bar. There are two doors in the dining area, one leading to the restroom while the other presumably leads to the kitchen that circles back to the bar. As far as the regulars go, there are only three employees, and one of them is hardly ever there. Very few people know that this place doubles as the meeting grounds for some odd activity, though there is no solid proof.
This place is open to customers, clients, and friends.
Shien didn't tell a soul about what happened in Yamasato. That was only a few days ago. Ever since, she had stayed home, trying to relax and not focus on the strange things that had gone on. It was the first time in quite a while that she had lost a target, there was a strange scaled woman with ice magic, and that same woman had changed shape, played dumb, then dropped some info bomb on the aasimar as if it were nothing. Even now as she waited on tables in Hikari, the events of just three days ago weighed heavily on her mind. Wearing a light green qipao and her white asymmetrical hair down, she looked more like a humble waitress than a killer. "Oi! Miss Lei! Another round over here, if ya could!" Looking up from the table she was cleaning, the woman just smiled sweetly to the call and nodded. Just two tables down was a group of regulars. Despite there being one or two actual bars in town, this group of elderly men preferred to drink here at the restaurant after a long day of work.
"You heard him, Suzu." Once she had all the empty glasses from the table she'd been bussing, she would move over and trade them out for full ones for the customers. Behind the counter was a young woman with mahogany hair and brown eyes.
"Yeah, I heard him, Shien, but I haven't heard from you! Did you deal with things in Yamasato? I've got a meeting set up for you today, you know! You seem really out of it since you've been back. I'm not going to let you walk into a meeting without a clear head," her voice was low as she spoke to Shien, almost inaudible.
"The only thing that was dealt was me a headache. You know I hate that place. Why would you even suggest me take up something there? I can meet with a client. Just let me know what time so I can change." Would it even matter? It was so difficult to prepare for disaster when one was not sure what form it would take. I swear, I bet that Zarina was just trying to make me paranoid. The worst part is that it worked. Once the brunette had placed the drinks on a tray, Shien picked it up and brought them to the waiting guests. "You boys are really putting it away today, huh? Tough day at work?" Between her haste to wait tables and speaking to the customers, she missed Suzu's poor explanation that this meeting didn't quite involve a client.
๐Dragons, supposedly among the strongest creatures in the world, some claim them to be at the pinnacle of the food chain and that they are to never be trifled with. Weapons of course have been made to slay these monstrous creatures and while rare have proven effective. A certain Dragon, or rather a Dragon Kin has grown to be rather....Lax about these kind of weapons, not really caring if his kin had been slain by such objects for they are them and he is himself. While some would see this as cold, it is in actuality the Dragon King trying to suppress his own rage, it was him resisting the urge to go Berserker and kill every human he could find. He knew very well that within every group there was a handful of individuals that made the group look bad and thus Zhen would refuse to kill because of the actions of a few. After completing a job, Zhen had received yet another contract one which would have him work with another Hitman. This was a first for the Dragon King, he usually did only solo jobs as he did not wish to accidentally bring about the fatality of someone working with him, that would be too painful and would surely bring back unwanted memories.
Zhen eventually arrived at the Hikari restaurant where he is to meet with his partner for this upcoming contract. He had hoped this partner would be able to handle themselves in a fight as there was a large possibility it could become a brawl. Scanning the room as he entered, Zhen had sat down at a table with no one else sitting at it. There he would sit silently, waiting for his partner, who ever they might.
Zurie entered the restaurant as she closed her parasol. Clutching it in both hands, she walked over to an empty table to sit. Her stomach was growling after a long afternoon sightseeing Yuki no Okoku. She found herself here in Onisato where she stumbled upon a Hikari Restaurant and made her way inside.
Once she sat, she noticed two other customers sitting at a table near her. She didn't pay much attention to them, but still glad that she wasn't the only one here.
She looked at the menu, and noticed the special for Sweet Sesame Soba. After all she did and saw, she figured some sort of noodles would hit the spot.
Mana: 100% Health:100% Thoughts:Mmm, The sweet sesame soba looks good. OOC: Don't mind me, I'm just doing my own thing. You can join in if you want to, though.whee
Getting through to here was literally the worse thing ever. Airports were hell, getting his bags together was more of a hell, and even finding an Inn to stay in Onisato was another form of hell. But he finally made it to the town, and he let off a sigh of relief as he would look into the restaurant that his contact told him about. It sucked that ever since he began his time as a knight, he was thrown into a world he knew nothing about. Yet for him, it just came naturally to him to fight like this. Thinking back on it, he always found it weird how he was such a good soccer player back in the days, After sitting at a table, Naoki Kashima would put down his hood revealing his face and looking around the restaurant. It was a pretty nice place, with a good smell of the food they were cooking. Soon, a waitress who was obviously not human would come up to him. She looked pretty... Strange to say the least, but this wasn't Earth he was on. "Hello, may I take your order sir?" She would ask as Naoki would look over the menu. Umm... I'll have Yaki Udon soup with chicken, please. The boy would ask, as she would write it down before going off. Letting off a sigh, Naoki would then consider where the person he was supposed to be looking for would be at. Who the heck is Zurie Willow? He wondered. This whole system still made him question things, but he did follow it, so he can't make any assumptions to the whole thing without getting more information on the system.
Meanwhile, another waitress was serving Zuri. "Oh right, uhm. I'll be fine with today's special, please." The waitress took her order and promised to come back with the food soon. Right after she had ordered, she noticed another customer walk in, a hooded figure. It sort of reminded her of another mage she met long ago, but she wasn't sure of the type of people who lived here. Zurie was also unsure if she should introduce herself to strangers right of the bat like she used to do.
After she received her food from the waitress, she gave her a small "Thank you" and a tip for her services. As she ate, she remembered that she was in need of a knight if she were to get anywhere in accomplishing her goals. There was a unique system of pairing knights and mages. There were records of other knights and mages that were requesting pairings. It was very confusing, yet intriguing how it worked. The person she needed to find was someone by the name of Naoki Kashima. But where am I supposed to find him? Perhaps she should ask around.
Mana: 100% Health:100% Thoughts:I wonder where I can find my intended knight.. OOC: Sorry for the late reply myself, If you need me to change anything I can.
