There was a Squire sitting on the very top of a playground jungle gym, swinging her legs as she hummed. Her tutu looked out of place with a large and cozy sweater pooling atop it. Sutai was scribbling in a notebook - drawing, actually, a crude and childlike drawing of Princess Polaris, Delphi and Alphubel. They were but stick figures. Luckily, Sutai had no aspirations about being an artist. She was taking a break from patrolling the nearby area, which included the courthouse she promised to look after.
The night wasn't young - it was likely ten or eleven o'clock by this time, and most people were either at parties or in bed. Sutai was left alone, relatively speaking, without any powered signatures nearby that she felt.
Tonight seemed... calm.
She missed Polaris and the other members of the Celestial Shepherds, but she had confidence that the Princess and the rest of them would return someday. They had to! Destiny City needed them! In the meantime, Sutai would keep their memory alive by lovingly drawing them in her notebook.
