Physical Attributes ▶ Surtr stands a tall two meters ( just over 6'5" ) and his most notable feature is that he is a bird in humanoid form. He has hair as black as pitch and a pale to add a very stark contrast. His face is free of any scars or blemishes and his eyes are an eerie lavender color that are devoid of pupils. This gives Gauss a very intimidating gaze (or so he is told). The plumage that covers some of his body. They are black as night and shimmer a bit in any form of light. A shimmery necklace seems to float about Surtrs form it is a memory of his past and the one item he holds dear.
What parts of Surtr's form that can be seen show that he is rather thin but tone. His chest and abdomen are examples of a exceptional physique but everywhere else he is covered in plumage as black as night. The plumage starts on his waist line and coats his legs in a natural set of black pants made of feathers. His feet are covered in the same plumage. From there the plumage makes its way up along his hip bone and up his back to his traps and shoulders where it moves down there fully coating his arms in the feathers. His finger tips are capable of extending and retracting black claws each several inches in length easily capable of cutting flesh. These feathers can shed from Surtrs form if he wishes allowing him to reveal or hide more of himself.
The final detail of Surtr it arguably his most noticeable and that is his wings. They are large each one being roughly 3 meters in length to give him an impressive wingspan and to allow Surtr to fly at very high speeds. His wings are large and composed of the same black feathers though larger in size to provide him with the lift he needs.

Personality ▶ Surtr is arguably the oldest being left in this world. Throughout his existence Surtr has seen a great many things. He has witnessed the rise and fall of his people, the great war, the fallen receding into legend, the faye becoming bed time stories, love, death, and birth. All of these events big and small shaped Surtr into the being he is today.
The one thing that drives Surtr above all else is his mind. He was born with an unequal intelligence. While the other children played Surtr read. He fed his mind from childhood and it cultivated him into an incredulous strategist. Though due to the nature of his people and what Surtr is he sees the world as a game. He cannot hide his playful side and so instead of fighting it Surtr has merged his intellect with his whimsy. He treats all his actions and words as moves. Though where most people can only focus on a piece of the board or a few moves ahead Surtr sees the entire board and often makes moves to set himself up far down the line.
Surtrs end game is what is best for the whole board. He works to ensure that no one people or nation takes too much or has too little. He works for the greater good regardless of laws or the opinions of others. This isn't to say Surtr won't be selfish, he has things he cares for and works towards them as well but when conflict arises and true character is tested Surtr always rises to the challenge.
While around people Surtr will often inspect them and aim to try and figure out what makes the person tick. The sooner he can figure out their motivation the sooner he can understand who they are. Surtrs playful side often shows here as Surtr has found it tends to allow people to open up. Though Surtr will adapt how he acts for the one around him.
When around women Surtr will be polite but because of the pain he has experienced in his past Surtr no longer has an interest in the company of woman too afraid of reliving what he went through. He will actively attempt to keep anyone trying to get close at bay and it would be an incredible task for someone to break through those defenses.
