I see, I've heard that those rings actually didn't do all that much, that's why we didn't put them in the store. We might have an event to give them out on a later date.

We have a few upgrades on the server side that we still need to do, but soon, switching to https will be next.

There is, but the problem presently is that not all items are accurately tagged, so the results would be lacking.

It's probably possible to create new drops in zOMG, that'll probably come after bug fixing and restoring events such as Easter event.

So lately I've noticed there's a trend of people trading their plat dolls for gold/items to people with the stipulation of them being "required" to keep the doll or to trade it back to the owner/creator of the person who made it. Is this even allowed ?
From what I understand about the rules, when a deal is finished.. it's finished. The user can do whatever they want with the item after that.

We don't have it specifically outlined in the rules (because it's a situation that we never really would have thought of happening), but no, such a stipulation would not be allowed. Users can be free to do whatever they want with an item once an agreed upon to trade is completed.

I know you limited the amount of gold spouting after you've defeated an enemy in Zomg to cut down on server issues; what about letting us just see the gold number?
No gold fountains, no image issues. As an option, I'd really like that. Lag can be a real killer when you're waiting for the gold coins, but your account has already acknowledged that it's there.

Sure thing I'll cut down the gold coins by 75%, the coins alone shouldn't cause any lags, it's the server response problem that I'll need to address. For now I'll make sure we reboot the servers every night

I use the Secondary Authentication feature for better account security. However, when I do, the "Remember Me" option ceases to work. That means I have to pull out my phone and enter a code every time my account idles out. Is there any way to enable the "Remember Me" function to work with two-factor authentication, or perhaps to add a "Remember This Device" option, so access from my home computer doesn't require a code?
It gets irritating having to type in a code every time the site logs me out.

Not for the time being. We build the backend to allow us to sort items by worth, and adding that functionality is possible but will take a lot of time.

the spin wheel in barton gave me 7500 gold
I raised the gold grant on monster kills, quests and daily chance, but I probably left a few other stuff untouched by mistake. WIll get to them after I fix the bigger issues.

Now it's an item called "zOMG! Thank you!" But when you use it, you get the error message "General Error. No destination item found, aborting item swap."

Checking into it there is an error with the image. It should just be an item with an image, but for some reason has a clickable area, which is causing the glitch you see. We've talked to the people responsible and they are looking into fixing it A.S.A.P. The clickable area should go away soon!

1. harassment and slander over the topics since we can't report the individual(s) responsible.
2. spam or abuse
Is there a timeframe of when this might happen? I'd like to be able to download the appropriate things (If needed) onto my browser in order to continue access to gaia's better features.

Interesting, normally if it's bad enough to warrant any kind of action we'll have another person on our team take care of the content. We try to set a high bar on what mods/staff actually warn for when it comes to abuse against ourselves, so most of the time a report isn't necessary.

Now that zOMG is back, will you guys be cycling the servers every few days to reduce the lag on each sever (right now some of the servers are already starting to lag alot)? If I remember correctly the servers were cycled every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

I like how the Avatar Builder was added to Gaia to replace TekTek's Dream Avatar function after TekTek was shut down for stealing your items for their dress-up site. Could we possibly get a Inventory Feature where we could create a link to send to others so they could build avatars using what we have in our Inventories?

From the avatar builder, select the "Allow Ghosting" option. Then just have other people enter your user_id into their "Ghost" box. Once they do this they will then see what you have in your inventory.
We can definitely look at making this feature a little less ambiguous though.

Still in early days but I'm hoping we can offer a html5 version that will work for mobile web.
