 Amalthea was a little nervous about going into the big lunchroom for the first time, she was starting her classes she needed to learn all her subjects so she could grow up like her brothers and sisters. Ama sighed she wasn't like them though she felt like she would always be in their shadow. Since Ama didn't have a great talent or a strong drive to achieve something amazing like some of her other siblings. Amalthea was just Thea she held her ew DS close to her chest, she didn't see Juju the hybrid she had met the other day in the playroom. So Ama was looking for someone to sit with for lunch or a quiet spot she could sit in and eat her lunch and play her new DS. Ama had a game on her DS with a little farm and cute animals in it, she smiled and played for hour upon hour. She put her game in her bag so she could get a tray and get some fruits, vegetables and other yummy things for lunch.

 Lunch time was one of the best times of the day in Sharkura's mind. It was a time for food and fun. Not that she had a lot of fun with other kids, but she would bring out her handheld and play her games. And that was exactly what she was going to do today! Eat her food and play her game.
As she held her handheld against her chest while trying to hold onto her lunch tray, and quickly discovered that it wasn't going to work that way. Sharkura tucked her handheld in her bag and then held onto the tray with both hands this time. First thing she grabbed was a chocolate milk. Then she picked up some sort of fishy food. It smelled good to her and it was going to do good enough to take the place of the one thing she wish they had... "Oh sushi... Why can't they make you here at school?"

Amalthea heard someone behind her saying something about sushi she wondered what it was, she took a seat at one of the few empty tables. She started eating her grapes not really looking at her food as she pulled her DS back out and started up her little farming gaming again. The sound was on low enough so she wouldn't get in trouble, but loud enough that someone walking by might hear the music from her game. Amalthea absently started eating her lunch as she was playing more attention to her new game and all the cute fluffy animals she could have on her little farm. Ama wanted to get to a high enough level that she could breed the fluff ram like animals.

After getting all her food on her tray, Sharkura wandered around, trying to find a place to sit where she wouldn't feel too out of place. But alas... it was seeming more and more difficult as she weaved about the tables and chairs of the lunchroom. That was until she heard the sound of something. A sound that made her little headwings perk along with her ears. "Video game?" she said loud enough to where she could be heard, but just barely.
And wouldn't you know it?! As her little eyes peered about, they spied another handheld device! Without thinking about it, the little hallowed peered over the shoulder of the one belonging to the device and peeped softly. "Whatcha playing?"

Ama looked up at the other hallowed that had heard her playing her new game, "I'm playing Farm party." She said softly "I just started learning how to play DS games." Amalthea said cheerfully. Ama's three eyes blinked as she looked at the other Hallowed and then said. "You like games too?? What kinda do you play??" Amalthea asked. "Oh I'm Amalthea by the way, but you can call me Ama or Thea." Ama said then grabbed a carrot stick on her tray and ate it waiting for the other hallowed to tell her what sorts of games they liked to play, maybe Ama could collect some more game ideas so she could expand her collection. Thea smiled as she looked at her avatar which was a pink and peach imp wearing a little pixel sunhat.

Sharkura was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the other child that was playing a game was also a hallowed! This would make the second hallowed that she'd have met herself! "Oh! Uhhhh..." and what a great way for her to start her side of the conversation. She groaned at herself, but quickly took the seat next to the other kid. Firstly, she needed a seat. Secondly, she'd only met one other gamer!
This was exciting stuff! Sharkura gave a nod at the question. "Mmhmm. I play a lot of puzzle games." She let her tray slide onto the table top and pulled out her handheld! "I.. I mostly play Bubble Pop. It's my favorite game." she said softly. And really, it was one of the few she had. She couldn't really afford to get many games. "I'm Sharkura." she said in a still soft voice. She was feeling kind of shy now and didn't really know how to talk, so she started up her game to show the other freshling!

Ama smiled she didn't mind that the other freshling had stumbled over what to say, till Amalthea had spent some time in the daycare playroom where she had met at least one other freshling. Ama did also have her many siblings. "Oh, can I see you play Bubble pop??" Ama asked curiously. She wanted to see what different games there were to play. "If you want to try playing my game you can." Ama said softly, she figured it would be ok since they were sitting right next to each other. Maybe Ama could make friends with Sharkura that would be nice.

It was a relief that the other freshling didn't seem to mind her being awkward. About the only person Sharkura wasn't awkward with was her best friend, Sheo. Looking at the time, she realized they didn't have much time to eat their lunches, but being asked to play a game for someone? She quickly stuff the fishy food in her mouth, giving a big, toothy smile after swallowing. "We don't have much time before lunch is over, but i think i can show you a level before we have to go!" Now normally she wouldn't be so talkative with someone she had just met, but now she felt like she was on a mission! Leaning over so the other kid could watch, Sharkura started up the level she was on, showing that each time a bubble of one color was shot up the screen and attached to another bubble of the same color... they POPPED!

Ama was really happy to be spending some time with someone new, she get out of her shell and make friends with others. It didn't do her any favors to hide out at home and not talk to anyone her daddy dropping her off at the daycare was the best thing to happen to her because she had to play with someone else for a bit. She watched Sharkura make the bubbles pop. "This looks like fun I'll have to ask my daddy if I can get this game too, though I might have to clean my room to get it." Ama made a face since she didn't like cleaning.

Even though Sharkura was enjoying herself, she couldn't help feeling a small twinge of jealousy at Ama having parents. Well.. at the very least, one parent. But the feeling was gone with the next POP of bubbles and she smiled to her new friend. "Maybe next time we have the chance to play together, we can swap games to try them?" Then the bell rang. Lunchtime was over. "Oh darn..." Not only did she have to leave her new friend, but she also didn't get to finish her lunch. Oh well. Tucking her handheld away, Sharkura smiled that rarely seen fangy smile at Ama. "Gotta get back to class, but I'll meet you here again tomorrow, okay!" Picking up her tray, She grabbed a couple more bites of food before having to get rid of the rest, then headed off to class feeling happy about making a new friend. With three friends now, life wasn't so lonely!
