It was a late night, and Titanite was still nursing a few bruises and a bit of a limp from the few nights prior. She had been learning how her powered body worked, with her new strength, speed, and agility. For a woman who had spent her lifetime training, and over 6 years as a Lieutenant, she was so awkward in her body still, with its new power. She was still expected to do things, as a Captain; earn her keep, as it were. Someone had told her she would have to do paperwork, now- not likely. She had rejected the office space, and she had a network of people she had to keep in touch with, slowly growing. Tonight she was visiting her poor and her homeless, stuffed into the alleyways between buildings, near the shelters. As she walked, she drained them, not multiple at a time, as she possibly could with her new power; but one at a time, leaning over them and settling the blankets over them as they drained further and further, listing the patchy, poorly used ones and replacing them with ones that were warmer and slightly thicker than the rags she was taking away. She was on her third when she felt the energy signature of Order, icy chill running down her spine. Titanite had been paying too little attention. xfrayedflower We can determine if it is a Battle or a Reg based on your needs; I'll fix the title later!

Eurydike was so glad the cold didn't really bother him when he was powered up, or man, winter would've really been a b***h. Nights like this weren't as bad as a blizzard or anything, no, but it was still nippy as ********, and he was aware of it even if it didn't get to him. Even shuffling out in his flannel had been a nightmare before he'd powered up. Now? Might be wearing a toga (not a dress, NOT A DRESS), but at least he could do it without getting frostbite or something.
Not like some of these people out here, poor ********... but their night was about to get a whole lot worse before it got better if his senses were on-point, and sure enough, there was one of the rats right there.
"Sick game you're playin', lady, " he snorted as he approached her - carefully, but confidently. Stronger than a lieutenant. Not as strong as some of the generals he'd come up again. Doable. He could do this, right?

The approach of the Order member made her sigh softly, brushing her hand over the person's face and tugging the energy faster, trying to get it pulled before they approached and spoiled her drain. It dizzied the target, and she caught their head before it could hit the wall, leaning it back and tucking one of the old blankets between them and the wall. There. "There is no sickness," she protested, beginning her conversation with honesty. "It is a bargain. People have the means to provide something which I require, and in return, I provide something of service to them. It is a business interaction. As you can see, they are unharmed. In fact, better off than when I arrived." One took care of their commodities. She tilted her head, taking in the senshi. Dark hair, dark eyes, a toga; young, but attractive enough. "Though if you would like to trade your energy for the blankets, and donate them to the poor, you are more than welcome."

Eurydike's dark eyes narrowed as he pointedly spat at the ground by her feet, wanting to make his statement loud and clear before a single word left his mouth. "Ain't a bargain if these people ain't agreein' to the terms, witch, " he all but snarled, his voice low and husky in the back of his throat. "So I'd consider it a steal, an' in that case, ********' assholes like you gotta be punished."
In the back of his head, he was already chiding himself, too many words not enough action. All this time he wasted talking, he could've just gone right ahead and tried to get the upper-hand by taking a ******** swing or something other than talking for ******** sake. But see, now just punching blindly like an idiot seemed like a ******** stupid idea too, so he went ahead and crouched long enough to grab the nearest things he could get his hands on to lob at her.
Which was, unfortunately, one of the goddamn blankets for the homeless. Well, ********. WHATEVER.

Words were words, and she sighed. "How do you know they do not?" she started to counter, but clearly, this one wasn't in a mood to talk. So he lobbed the blanket, and she saw red. Her switch flipped from resigned to genuine angered distress, and she went from 0 to 60. One didn't do that! "HOW DARE YOU?!" her roar was loud, startling awake several of her business partners- and as the poor blanket fluttered around them, she charged in with a punch aimed right at the side of the senshi's stupid head, lobbing the pile of blankets she had been holding in the direction of the homeless person who had been so cruelly robbed. "You do not take blankets from poor people to use them as a weapon!" She paid for her energy fair and square with these blankets. How dare this senshi steal from them to try and attack her? There was a severe lack of manners in this man, and she was going to teach him some. Or get magicked in the face. Both was still a possibility. frayedflower 6.24.17 - I'm pulling this off my open list til you can get to it. smile Just let me know!
