The Meaning to Life

About me: I've lived in cities, suburbs and rural farming communities to experience everything life has to give. I've told lies, been honest, cried and laughed. There is so much life out there and I yet to find the meaning to mine. My friend introduced me to documentaries; Minimalism, Hungry for Change, Chef's Table, Food Inc and much more. I've played games such as Rune Factory and Harvest Moon growing up. I want to live those lives, but it seems impossible when you work a minimum wage job and live in an apartment. Writing is my way to cope and to keep my dream alive that one day it is possible to live off the land and have a self-sustaining life for myself and my family.

The Scenario: Pequot, a small town, has thrived for centuries only to be forgotten by the current generation. Gardens die, animals flee, traditions lost and the development of a new highway leaves the down disconnected from tourism and the outside world. Children inherit the land, only to sell it off to the highest bidder.
Luckily, the highest bidder is an optimistic artist who's taking the risk to preserve the area, because... do we really need another McDonald's, Walmart or Target? However! Miss Rena can not do it all by herself. She needs help and minds willing to learn and work hard to create a community, a tribe and a home. She has put ads up on the internet, inviting her fellow geeks, nerds and lost souls to discover their meaning to life and what true happiness away from the corruptness of society could be.
