Meeting up for the second time had been far more pleasant, and this time they'd come with a plan--and armed with cleaning supplies. They'd met up in the park again and this time their Sailor Teleport had been deliberate. They returned to the strange room they'd found before, only this time something was different. The room might have still been dusty and needed a good clean but it smelled fresher. There was a cool breeze, refreshing and comfortable, and the stronger smell of flowers. The water from the fountain was still flowing and at first, it didn't seem like anything had changed. Except for the bulbs. The once dried, husky bulbs that had laid at the waterless bed of the fountain now floated around--still closed, but now brimming with color. The leaves were iridescent and pastel; they looked more like small pieces of art than any natural flower. They had a natural light about them--like something was radiating from within.

Lysithea looked around the room, beaming and breathing in the sweet, floral scent the permeated the place.

“Well! Here we are, back again…and now we know how to actually get here, so that’s a good thing…and…would you look those bulbs now!”

The senshi walked over and picked one up, one that was a beautiful like purple, much like the purple of her own fuku. “This place really is ours, my friends…It’s ours and I love it.” She had such a sense of pride and accomplishment with being there, and now they just had to make it a place that was even more…magical and perfect.

…With a good cleaning.

The moment Lysithea touched the bulb, the petals peeled back to reveal a small, plush bed. Once opened, the petals looked like pretty stained glass; they felt sturdier than normal leaves--but that wasn't all. Inside the bulb was a small, glowing orb. It was a little larger than a marble, but not quite the size of a golf ball. It glowed lightly--in her colors. With her symbol.

Adria tilted his head as he watched Lysithea picked hers up. He moved to stand by the fountain, resting his bag of cleaning supplies on the ground. Another bulb drifted by--this one in hues of oranges and purples. He hesitated and then lifted it.

Like Lysithea's, his opened on touch. It revealed a similar little bauble, glowing with his symbol.

If he'd had any doubts that this place didn't belong to them...

They were all gone, now.

"This is beautiful," he said, smile dawning on his face. "I've never seen plants that could do this. Uhm. Are these even plants?" he asked, gently tapping the strange, glassy petals. The flowers seemed to open up in a shape that resembled lotus flowers, but these just seemed so much prettier.

Elpis was far less awkward this time, stretching as they returned, and setting down her bag of supplies. There was a slight spring in her step, and the senshi hummed as she walked to look around cheerily, admiring the atmosphere. It was nice; and felt crisper. Calmer. Especially compared to her room, where she'd spent several days looking into fountain and plant care, with interest in bringing plants to the room, but being back brought a smile to her face and she hummed, walking over curiously as she watched the bulbs bloom, head tilting.

"I think so, if buy magic. There's a tulip-like flower on my homeworld that's rocky. It's possible these are plants too. Otherwise... Mmmagic."

She shrugged, kneeling to idly poke at the bulbs with idle curiousity and a calm look, humming.

"Pretty, though."

Forte wasn't one who was easily won over by pretty baubles - she liked them, sure, but usually they didn't hold much weight given they could be taken away just as easily - but this.... this was something kind of special. Carefully, she watched the track as it floated along, and snatched up one that was silvery and pale - her colors, but also, she thought with an ironic little smile, a bit like moonlight.

"These can't be plants," she said, glancing between her own, just-opening little 'flower', with accompanying orb, and the others drifting around the room. "Not like we have on Earth, anyway? I mean, maybe they're like your alien-plant, Elpis, but.... not a plant-plant, especially if they've got these little... presents in 'em. Seems more like one of those lil dispenser things you sometimes see at stores? Capsules 'r whatever? In a plant-shape?"

Then again, she really didn't know what she was talking about, so she shrugged and sighed. "So what do you think we're supposed to do with these, anyway? They don't look like marbles, and I wouldn't even know where my homeworld is if we're supposed to make a planetarium or something with 'em..."

.... Oh god she sounded like an idiot. Right. Time to shut up, now, before she somehow made it even worse than it already was. Face flushing with embarrassment, she hastily turned her back to the group and busied herself looking over the room again - maybe something else had changed besides the obvious? Even if it hadn't, looking at an empty, still kind-of dusty room was way better than dealing with her own embarrassment at sounding like a complete dumbass.

The bulbs weren't just bulbs anymore. Subra let out what could only be called a squee of delight, putting the cleaning supplies she'd brought down and moving to pick up a bulb that was in her colors. "Oh! Oh, these are so much prettier than I thought they might be!" And the flowers, not-flowers, whatever they were...they were theirs. They were proof that this place, this gorgeous place, was THEIRS. Their own little place. "Whatever we're supposed to do with them, it's got to be something pretty! I mean...just look at the flowers!" She giggled, then squeaked.

"Oh! Right, we're here to get this place clean! Uhm..." She fidgeted a bit. "Should I put this back in the water, or somewhere else..." She didn't want to ruin anything! After all, they were there to make it better, not worse!

Lysithea glanced around the room, and finally her eyes landed on the statue that was in the center of the pool. She looked at the staff that the statue held and hesitating for a moment, she reached up and placed the orb that she held into one of the spirals.

“Here, give me your orbs too, guys…It’ll look pretty if we place them all on here. And it’ll be a nice safe place to put them.”

She took the other orbs from the four other senshi and continued filling the staff with them. When she was done, she noticed that the staff glowed faintly for a moment, but that might have been some sort of trick of the light, or the glow that came from the orbs themselves.

“All righty! Now that’s out of the way, why don’t we start sweeping and stuff! The senshi grabbed one of the dust rags from the bag that she bought and began running it along the tub of water, wanting to just make it shine. When she got to the archway, she began rubbing the arch as well, resting her other hand on the door itself.

For a moment she paused, looking at the door and shaking her head. “Man, I wish we could open the door, I’d love to know what was on the other side…”

And as though the room was waiting for the words to be spoken, the wand shimmered from its place in the statue, and re-appeared in Lysithea’s free hand, the door opening without a sound.

“Oh!”

The symbol on the door flickered at the same time the wand did; suddenly, the giant slab of rock slid away into the wall, revealing the room they hadn't been able to access before.

As they had expected, the fountain that rain through the main room ran through this one as well. This room was as beautiful as the last--but in an entirely different way. The pleasant smell seemed to be coming from here--a room that had come to life with flowers and exotic plans. The running water seemed to have put them into full bloom--and while many plans seemed to be freshly sprouting seeds, there were gorgeous vines speckled with flowers growing across the furthest wall. To their left, more beautiful stained glass that cast an eerie, but comforting imagine of soft pastels on the ground. Across from the stained glass, more vines and growing plants, but also a trunk that look like it has rusted over.

In the center of the room were two chairs: a chaise lounge chair and an equally comfortable, albeit dusty looking chair across from it.

There were several empty flower beds, and some filled with dirt but which didn't seem to be sprouting anything.

Instantly, the smell of fresh flowers hit the group of Senshi.

Adria had been scrubbing some old dirt out of the tiles when Lysithea opened up the door; he'd been entranced with the way the wand seemed to light up when the little baubles had been attached, but he was more impressed that the door actually opened--and that the key had been the wand from the statue.

He dropped the sponge he'd been cleaning with and rose to his feet, tilting his head into the room from behind Lysithea.

He didn't want to ask how she did it--he'd seen it all happen, and he wasn't sure she'd have known any better than he did.

He couldn't even think to speak, just peered into the room and seemed impressed. All of this was supposed to be theirs? What were they doing in a past life to need a place like this?

What were they doing in this life to deserve it?

Elpis hummed and looked up when Lysithia opened the door, before standing fully and walking to look in the new room, brightening significantly.

"Oh, hey, we can plant things in here." She noted, and beamed, eager.

"We should find some plants to plant here sometime."

A worthy conversation at best -- and the senshi walked in, beginning to explore slowly, before pulling out some duct tape to work on dusting the chaise lounge.

"This looks like it'll clean up well..."

... Okay. So the staff was a key. A key...staff. Forte wondered briefly if they really were living some kind of silly video game, but thoughts of that kind vanished when she followed the group in and looked around at the new room. It was... it was ... Well, it was something, even though the words for just what that something was were escaping her.

"'s pretty," she mumbled, moving over to poke at and inspect one of the vines. "Think it's like a meditation place? It's too organic to be a church..." Though with that stained-glass, who knew? She tugged a little at the vine she held, then let it go and moved to peer at the windows - stained glass on earth sometimes had specific pictures in it, but she didn't know if any of these would, or if she'd be able to recognize them even if they did.

"Are we supposed to do something with it? It doesn't look like a meeting room or anything..."

The wand-staff doing a magic trick seemingly of its own accord and the door opening startled Subra a bit, the dust she'd been sweeping up puffing up into a cloud with her startled movements. "Oh!" That was...that was definitely something! Something amazing and strange! And with the door opening came the scent of flowers. Not the dried kind. The alive kind. That in and of itself had Subra skittering over, curious and excited, her gardener's heart soaring.

The new room was gorgeous, to say the least. And Subra couldn't help but stare with wide eyes. "Oooh...this...this is really pretty! And this...this really looks like some sort of...of relaxation or meditation room, yeah." And this was...this was theirs? Holy wow.

A room for mediation…a place to relax, to unwind. Lysithea nodded, grinning and…and this…

Her eyes looked down at the small staff in her hand…or...was it a wand? She seemed to be getting an array of wands now, first that one she found on her homeworld…and now this one that she had made with the help of her friends. Her closest friends and allies.

The orbs on the wand seemed to glow in response to her very thoughts about her friends, and that made her feel very good about this. They were meant to be. Everything was letting her know this, more and more. “We can really help people here. This…this oasis…this safe place…we can really…truly begin to help people here. Everyone. Especially those senshi who are hurting…who are conflicted…perhaps those that are feeling a pull to chaos…we…”

The rag she had been holding lay forgotten at her feet and she looked around, grinning. “We have the ability to do so much now…so, so much…and…”

She held the wand up, her joy only growing as the orbs once again began glowing. “This is the key to everything! I feel it!”

Adria couldn't help but laugh and shake his head at Lysithea. "...I don't imagine we'll be getting much more work done after this, huh?"

It was somewhat rhetorical; he was happy to see Lysithea in such a good mood. They kept finding piece of a puzzle, but there still weren't answers.

But they were having fun; he had never had a secret clubhouse when he was a kid, but he had dreamed of fantasy and wonder for as long he could remember.

He had that, and more, here.

Here, he was with friends. They still had a lot to learn, but they could do it--together. They were all working towards the same goal, and he felt relaxed around them.

"Let us know if you figure out what that thing does!" He smiled; he was excited about all of it, but he knew they had a goal. This place needed to get cleaned up--and they could learn its mysteries in the process. With one last look into the second room, he returned to the area of the floor and wall he'd been scrubbing earlier, smile on his face.

"I'm getting work done because I want to use this nice couch and maybe plan some plants." Elpis pouted, but she was grinning befoe she turned. She styudied Lyaithea's staff, and blinked, head tilting as she considered the look, and then began mulling the words over in her mind. Slowly, one thing came to the forefront of her mind, and one thing only, and the senshi suddrenly began to snicker, then laugh several moments. Nobody else might get her joke, but...

"We've found the keyblade! It's taking us to Kingdom Hearts!" Elpis quipped. She was laughing though -- a hearty, good natured laugh that sounded like it was desperately needed, and not at all being fought. After several moments, Elpis seemed to calm, smiling in amusement at Lysithea before nodding, still amused as she did a terrible accent for another joke.

"Does this mean you are now Fearless Leadr and we are looking for moose and squirrel?" The senshi chuckled again, smiling before she moved to Lysithea, giving her a pat on the back warmly. It was a good time-- certainly a good day, at least, and the metal senshi moved to collect some cleaning supplies. It was indeed a good day -- even if Elpis had to clean -- something she did carefully. While normally not one of her favorite activities, she did enjoy it this time-- ONLY this time, because the room was nice, and having friends was nice, and the calm was nice, and for once?

Elpis was in a good mood for the first time in a rather long time. Sure, it was no 'Loki of Asgard' moment -- especially not with how down she'd been worrying, but things seemed to finally be looking up, and well, and the senshi sighed some, relaxing contentedly as she turned to move and clean.

"Nah," Forte said, finding herself relaxing now that someone else had made the stupid joke that had been in her head since she saw the staff-wand-whatever it was. "We're just here t' find the keyhole, probably." Though if they could stop the darkness from spreading with something as simple as a keyblade, wouldn't that be grand? She frowned, the expression thoughtful as she looked around at all the green and growing things, then sighed to herself.

As neat as this was, the room didn't have all that much in it, and they were here for a reason - a reason that she was still none too pleased by, but. Well, if this place really was theirs (and in part, hers), it was their (and her!) job to try and take care of it.

Which meant a lot of cleaning.

Boring, disgusting cleaning. She didn't want to, but.... 'responsibility' and all that stuff. Bleh. Grabbing a rag, she set to work, only to frown a little and sigh, "This would go faster if we had some kind of music." Would a music player even work up here, though? And like hell was she singing anything around other people.

Uggggh. Cleaning.

"Do you think there's youma that look like Heartless?" With all the mentions of keys and Kingdom Hearts...well, she couldn't help but wonder now! It was a perfectly logical train of thought! But for the moment...they had no real idea as to the purpose of everything, other than it was theirs. How it was theirs, she didn't know...but it was, and it made her heart soar a little. Subra looked over at Forte curiously when music was mentioned, then nodded as she got back to sweeping. "I could bring something that runs on batteries next time! That way we don't have to worry about plugging anything in, and we'll have music! Whistle while you work~ after all!"

Her voice wasn't the best, but it wasn't anywhere near horrible either; just the voice of a girl who had seen way too many Disney movies and loved them to pieces. It was really the only time she piped up in song, though. But the next few hours of cleaning and chatting and just...being part of something were amazing, and by the time they all went back to Earth and went their separate ways, Subra was in high spirits, ideas in her head and her heart much lighter than it had been since the horrible dreams of the not-future. Everything was becoming right with the world, her fears and anxieties melted away for the moment.
