Thoughts about the youma were in her mind, fresh in Lysithea’s mind…and thoughts of that…that place that she visited were up there too. It had been…so amazing…and different…magical?
She couldn’t get the dumb smile off of her face as the thought about it, and paused for a moment when she felt the aura of a general…and a youma. For a moment, she held the hope that it was Sanidine and Evan…though…she hadn’t seen the General since she had kidnapped Evan that one time and she was a little concerned that perhaps this would turn into some sort of fight…she wasn’t interested in any fighting.
When she turned the corner and saw that it was indeed the two she thought it was, the smile grew a little. “Evan!” She was always so excited to see the little youma…but she missed him so much. She missed her friend. She wanted him back more than anything.

Evan had been riding on Sanidine's shoulders and looked like he'd been trying to fall asleep, using the General's head for a pillow. One eye lazily opened and when he realized who was calling him, his stub of a tail started to wag rapidly. He tried to scurry off of Sanidine, but the General caught him quickly.
"Evan, no," he said, managing to wrangle the senshi into a captive embrace. Evan was pouting at him; his ears folded low and he seemed disappointed. When he realized that Sanidine wasn't going to let him go, he flopped backwards and whined. Limp, in Sanidine's arms, this seemed to be some sort of protest.
Sanidine's eyes drifted from the youma to Lysithea.
"...You're not going to kidnap him again, are you? Or hit me?" he grumbled; he still had a bit of a grudge against her--even if they were on the same side.
At least, where Evan was concerned.

“Hey, let the booger go. I need a hug from him. I’m not going to take him anywhere or hit you, Sanidine, so let me hug my friend.”
It was all she could not to add the words that you took away from me, but she bit her tongue instead.
“I’m glad to see the both of you…mostly him, but…whatever.” Lysithea was glad to see Sanidine though, at least a little. It meant he was doing okay, and so long as he was doing okay, Evan had to be doing at least a little bit okay.
She stood back up and walked over to the both of them, reaching her hand out and stroking the top of Evan’s head. “Hey buddy…everything going okay? I’ve missed you terribly…”
Hesitating she looked up at the general. “Hey…do you know anything about…people using collars on youma? Like, nasty metal collars around their necks? I ran into this huge youma with one of them, and he was in really bad shape…Is that a new thing ya’ll are doing?”

Sandine watched for a moment and then shrugged; despite it all, he still found room in his heart to trust Lysithea. He held Evan up, even as Lysithea began to pet him. When the Senshi got close, Evan seemed to spring back to life and nuzzled her affectionately.
Begrudgingly, Sanidine even let go of Evan so he could climb into Lysithea's arms.
"Metal collars?" he prompted, one brow raised. "...I've never seen any one do anything. I did read about it some," he shrugged. "When I was researching what the Negaverse knew about youma."
His arms free, he crossed them over his chest. "I guess sometimes youma rebel, or they're just not all mentally there. I don't know, maybe the Cats made some devices to try and clear their heads some? They didn't say anything about turning youma back into humans so I didn't look into it much. I know that they're supposed to make them listen to commands. You should be able to send coded instructions to them? But all the experiments I read about were from a while ago, I've never seen anyone actually using them. You saw that? --Where? When?"

Lysithea held the youma close, scratching behind one of his large ears and sighing. “Yeah, me and a group of friends ran into one, and I thought it was going to be like, a crazy life or death battle...but for as angry as the thing was...it almost seemed...happy that we got the collar off of him. Like, he stopped attacking when we managed to break the awful thing. I don’t know, Sanidine. If I were you, I’d try and figure out what happened with those things...and perhaps see if you can put a stop to it...because, it didn’t work. I’m just saying.” She kissed the top of Evan’s head and sighed, her mind going to a place that she really didn’t want it to go, some dreadful imagination of Evan in one of the collars, and she shuddered, drawing the small youma closer. “Sani, we have to find a way to get him back to his old self...and quickly. I can’t take much more of this.” Lysithea missed him too much. Zack Missed him too much.

Evan’s eyes had squeezed shut and his ears folded low as he enjoyed the waves of pleasure that tingled through him as she scratched behind his ears.
Sanidine’s eyes went to him and he sighed. “I’m trying,” he said. He couldn’t tell her how badly he wanted him to get back to his old self, or how he didn’t think he could take much more of it.
He couldn’t let her piece things together.
“I’ll look into it, though,” he promised. “I’ll see if I can find anything about it in our library. It’s as good of a lead as any, I figure.”

Lysithea nodded, letting out a sigh. “Well...good. I really hope we...you, I mean...manage to find some good information. I...I’m glad he’s at least happy looking, I mean, he’s acting like he’s kind of happy so, that’s something…” Reluctantly, she held he youma out to Sanidine again, though planted one last kiss on his nose. “I’ll see you soon, I should head home...I have some things to get done today.” Raising her eyes to Sanidine, Lysithea gave what she hoped was an encouraging smile, and took a step away from the two of them. “See you later, don’t get into too much trouble, Sanidine. I don’t want to have to punish you.” She winked, showing that it was a joke, and departed. It was good that there wasn’t any more bad blood between them...even though she sort of knew she kind of perhaps deserved it for kidnapping Evan...but… But she thought she had been doing the right thing. And she would always think that. She couldn’t help it. She loved Evan far more than Sanidine ever could. He was her friend, after all.

Sanidine took Evan back; while the youma seemed a little sad to be parting ways, he seemed happy as long as someone was holding him. He snuggled into Sanidine’s arms almost immediately and buried his face in his chest. His tiny stub of a tail wagged slowly, as if tired, and then it almost seemed like he was trying to go to sleep.
Sanidine just held Evan in one arm and stroked his back with the other.
He let out a soft laugh. “I’m not looking for trouble right now. Just looking to fix this. You have a good night,” he said before he turned his back and walked in the other direction.
He could have teleported if he really wanted to—and he would, eventually, but a part of him thought it was nice just to hold Evan so close to him.
One day, he’d hold the real Evan again.
