It had been....well...since the night of the attack on the Negaverse that she had last seen Caedus. She had thought about visiting him before, but a part of her feared seeing him. After all, that night had not been a good one for her. She remembered very little about it and many of those memories were rather...painful, both physically and mentally. So, she subconsiously found herself avoiding the man for the fear that seeing him might bring up supressed memories that...she wasn't sure she wanted. If that was even possible.
But she finally felt she was strong enough to deal with anything that might pop up. So, with the March evening being mild and her patrol routes having nothing going on, she decided to pay Caedus a visit.
The Eternal senshi walked through the area of the park that she knew Caedus had once tended to inhabit, though she wasn't sure he even stayed there. If he was even still on the planet. That was a thing right? He was still around? She hadn't thought about it, but maybe he had managed to go home? She had no clue.
"Caedus?" She called softly, not wanting to make too much noise but to hopefully catch his attention if he was around. Green eyes peered through the darkness as she tried to catch sight of the robed man. "Are you still here?"

Caedus, tired for a long walk and nearly constant pacing, had just taken a seat on a stump not so far away from the voice. He tilted his head just slightly--a movement visible in the night to anyone who might have been looking. He could have stayed still--could have hidden. But this voice was not cruel, and he was desperate enough for company and assistance still that he did not try to hide. Not tonight, at least. "I am here," he confirmed from the darkness, and seemed to raise his head a bit higher to stand out a bit more. He let out a heavy sigh--not of irritation, but of strain on his body--and slowly pushed himself up. His steps were small and slow but he began to move towards Harmonia as if he intended to greet her.

She hadn't noticed the first movement of Caedus. She had not been focused on the spot he was in or she had just plainly missed it but she certainly looked his way when he called back to her. His darkened frame now easier to spot with a specific direction to look.
She heard the sigh and the almost painfully slow movements he made as he rose and moved towards her. A feeling of worry washed over her and Harmonia hurried to him so he would not need to move much. "Hey, are you alright? You can stay sitting if you want." She said softly as she reached him. She wanted to reach out to touch his shoulder and guide him back to the stump he had vacated. In fact, she had almost done so until she remembered his aversion to too much physical interaction. Her hand hoovered near his shoulder before she awkwardly pulled back.
"I am sorry. Um, I mean....I am sorry I haven't come to visit you since the attack I uh...I..." Had my own problems to deal with? She couldn't quite voice that. It felt cold and...harsh. "Well, I was recovering." That was the nicest way to put it.
"I hope you're doing alright. Is there anything I can get you?" She questioned. Maybe she should have brought some food and blankets with her? She could gather stuff up and bring it later...

“I am fine,” Caedus assured. It was a practiced line, and one he had delivered many times. “Thank you for your concern. I am fine, for now. I appreciate the offer, but I am afraid the only thing I am actively seeking is more energy.” He would have been much taller if he’d stood up straight; instead, he still seemed to be curled into his robes. He watched her with the same intelligent golden eyes. It almost seemed as though he were quick to move the conversation from himself; he drew back to something she had said earlier. “I apologize for any injuries you might have sustained. I hope you healed quickly. Are you all right now?” The tone was genuine, even if his voice was not quite normal. Even now, it was different—more human now than the same strange, almost metallic voice he’d had when they’d first met. The echo was still there, though, and it was still gravelly. He was adapting to Earth a bit better now that he was above surface.

Energy? Ah, that was right. The crystals. "I can help you out if you'd like. I don't mind transferring more energy to a crystal for you." She smiled. Giving him energy, freely, did not bother her. Unlike the negaverse he didn't push it upon anyone and didn't take what was freely given to him. He dealt with whatever donations were given and Har respected that. So lending a hand was the least she could do.
At the mention of her injuries she paused a moment. "Um. Well. For the most part, yes." She laughed a bit awkwardly, trying to brush off the question and hoped to just move on. "I'll manage." Harmonia was obviously a bit anxious about the question as she fumbled for a way to get out of it and shifted from one foot to the other.
In another attempt to dodge the question she instead focused back on him. It was like the two were dancing around each other with their avoidance of questions and trying to deviate to the other. "So, are you enjoying your time on Earth? Learning anything fun? You sound better, like you're beginning to feel comfortable or something. I don't know, I can't quite put my finger on it, but yea, you sound much better!"

While Caedus seemed relieved and grateful that she offered her help, he was reluctant to provide her with a crystal so soon after her answer. It was difficult to tell beneath the shadows of his hood, but a look of grief passed his face; he had pursed his lips and averted his eyes for a second before returning his gaze to her. She was keeping things from him, and he could infer easily what that meant. Still, he didn’t pry. “Earth is interesting,” he answered honestly. “I would like it much more if I knew I could go home whenever I liked. I have read some books, and I have company that visits when they can. That, I enjoy. I have learned a bit, but.” His eyes wandered towards the city; he didn’t have a very good view from here, but he sighed wistfully. “I get lonely. I think the fresh air is good for me, though. And I have eaten! My body is recovering, I think. But Earth still feels like a prison. I want to go home. I miss everyone. Everything.”

Harmonia tilted her head at Caedus. It was hard to tell but had a brief flicker of emotion, of sadness, pass in his eyes? The hood and darkness made it near impossible for the senshi to tell for sure, but her smile warmed. "Really it's fine. I'll be fine." She said a bit more kindly. "But if you do want my help, feel free to ask."
As Caedus went on about Earth, Chailee grin widened into a full fledged smile. "I am glad you're enjoying yourself here. There's a lot of learn, I bet!"
"I wish I could help you with getting you back home though." She mused loudly. "I vet you almost feel trapped here on Earth with no way out."
Then a thought crossed her mind and she studied Caedus for a moment. She certainly remembered their past visit where he had told her what his race did to other planets, but...he wasn't on his home world. He wasn't out looking to make trouble for others right now. Right now, he was heartstricken and homesick.
"Um..." She paused a moment before continuing. "I don't know if this would interest you at all. And...I completely understand if you'd rather not, but...if you'd like to take a break from Earth for a little while I could take you to my homeworld. I mean...there's no one else there and a lot of it is still rubble but, it definitely looks different than Earth." She fiddled with one of the ties of her corset on her fuku. "I mean, it's not your homeworld or anything, and I get that, but.....I dunno, I thought it might help break up any monotony you may feel here. I mean, I'll need to be home in time so my parents don't miss me otherwise I'll be in a heap of trouble but can stay for a few hours." ]/color]

Caedus watched the Senshi with a softer expression; he might have kept as much to the shadows as he could, but sometimes he was easy to read. He wanted to accept her offer. He wanted to see somewhere outside of Earth, wanted to see the rest of the universe even if just to know it was still there. He had to force himself not to accept and reluctantly shook his head. “It would interest me very much,” he confessed, “But I do not think I can leave Earth in any capacity just yet. I am afraid if I were to leave, something would certainly happen in my absence. Perhaps, one day, if your offer stays open, I would be very grateful to accept.” He seemed genuine and added, “I hope you do not think me rude. There is more to it than just that. I have developed a deep fear of being stranded. On any planet, regardless of how beautiful it may be. I cannot predict the future, only try to prepare for it.”

Harmonia could see the yearning and desire in Caedus. It was right there and she thought for sure he was going to accept. It excited her to take someone to her planet, but it seemed it wasn't meant to be as her friend declined the offer she had made.
"Something would happen?" She asked with a tilt of her head, almost like that of a puppy trying to decipher something it didn't quite understand. "What might happen?"
Despite her questions she eventually smiled and nodded. "The offer will definitely stay open. And I promise you I would never just strand you somewhere. That....that would be a horrible thing to do to someone. Especially a friend. So, whenever you are feeling like you can go, just let me know!"
She gave him a sheepish smile. "I mean, it's not like there's a TON there. There's quite a bit of rubble, but the trees are pretty and the general land of the planet is enjoyable. But, maybe by the time you go, it will be in better shape!" After all, like Caedus said, one couldn't predict the future. Perhaps her homeworld will have begun to recover even more!

Caedus nodded and once more seemed like he was trying to restrain his interest. “I hope you can restore it. I am sorry to hear of its decay, though. The worlds I used to visit used to be beautiful, wonderful. Now, I am saddened to hear that only Earth has survived. I admit, I feel a bit of disdain for it.” He seemed quick to assure, “Why Earth, is what I mean. It was a thriving world, but there were others. So many others. Before, at least. When I could wander the universe. It is…fascinating to me. In a horrible way. My world is strong, it must have survived. But for everything else to have such a grim fate…” Silence fell over him for a moment and then he shrugged. “Is it strange for you, as a Senshi? To live on this planet but know yours is out there, and has suffered?”
