In a burst of light and a strange falling sensation, the group materialized inside a strange, foreign room.

They were no longer under the starry sky in Destiny City Park; instead, they were in a room constructed with shiny white marble that seemed to shimmer with gentle pastels. It was dusty and dirtied with age but the room didn't seem like it was in such a state of disrepair that it was discouraging. There were intricate carvings and elegant pillars lining the room; whoever had created it had clearly invested a great amount of time and effort. Light filtered through stained glass windows that lined the walls; the colorful scenes all had some sort of ethereal shimmer about them. Glass mosaics constructed with the same intense level of detail spread across some of the walls.

There were a few carved statues decorating the room. The most visible was the one in a center; it featured the bust of a beautiful woman with flowing hair. Her arm was outstretched and she held a gorgeous instrument; it looked like a half staff and had an ornate topper. A small, clear orb dangled off of one of the spiral

The room smelled peaceful--old, but fragrant, like dried flowers. It had a uniquely cool and refreshing air . Several chairs were in the room and seemed to have been made with such detail that in their current positions, they looked as though they might have been pieces of artwork themselves. There were bookshelves lining a few walls, filled with dusty and worn text that appeared well preserved.

In the distance, one wall had a peculiar archway over what looked to be a door, though it didn't seem to have a doorknob or a keyhole.

Along the walls, a slab of marble seemed to jut out. Closer examination would reveal a hollowed bed. In the hollowed bed that ran like a track, there were five strange, withered bulbs. They looked most like lotus flowers, but were a pale white and seemed cold and hard to the touch. There was a grate in the wall, just to the left of the archway, and if anyone peered in close enough they would just barely able to see that there was something on the other side of the wall. Near the grating, but below the slab, was a tiny little knob with a glistening gemstone embedded in it. It was hidden in the shadows, but it was clear that it was important; every now and then a bead of water would drip from it and disappear into a small drain hidden in the tiles.

Adria blinked and glanced around uncertainly; he was in a circle with the girls, eyes narrowed with confusion and skepticism before he slowly began to look around. The place was unfamiliar to his eyes, but he didn't feel uncomfortable or alarmed; it felt like stepping into a friend's house.

He felt like he was home.

"Ah...Lysithea?" he asked after a second of observation. His eyes had landed on a unicorn bust protruding from the wall. "...Where are we?"

Lysithea hadn’t known what had happened. One moment, she was being supported by her friends, both old and new…and the next…

“Sailor Teleport…” The words came from her mouth, almost as an answer to Adria’s question. “I…I mean, I don’t know where we are…but I thought that. Sailor Teleport…and then we were here…” She glanced around, her dark blue eyes resting on each of her other teammates in turn.

“…I think…we were meant to be here.” All of them…Adria…her best friend out of the group, her closest friend as a senshi…the one who had sounded the alarm.

Subra, the youngest of the group who had helped her get close enough to the youma to really be able to make a difference.

Forte, the newest senshi in the group, one who was a little unsteady still about exactly what she was supposed to be doing, but had enough heart and guts to get out there and do it.

And, Elpis. The one that Lysithea had been a little concerned about when they had first encountered the youma, but who had absolutely redeemed herself in Lysithea’s eyes the moment she had offered the hug.

“We’re…together now. All of us…And…I don’t know…I think this is a reflection of that…” She was speaking out of her a**…but her eyes were transfixed on the unicorn bust that was on the wall, and in her mind, that seemed to cement this feeling of…rightness.

“Thank you…all of you for your help…we couldn’t have helped that youma on our own…we…we work well together…maybe…” She shrugged. “Maybe something else thinks so too, and this is…our gift…?” Maybe there was a large guardian cat…like, the center of the universe who spat out…rooms instead of henshin pens.

…okay that thought was kind of gross.

Elpis blinked as they teleportd, startled as they reappeared, and her first impulse was to look around with a sense of caution, looking around before sighed. She didn't sense danger, but it DID make her recall the invasion, and the senshi grimaced momentarily, before settling back into her more calm demeanor, looking around silently.

"Almost reminds me of the time I got shot to the moon." A pause, and she snickered dryly. "Moonshot!"

OK, it wasn't that funny, but enough for her twisted sense of humor to kick in and she half-smiled.

"Think Cosmos is up to something?" She hadn't missed Lysithia murmuring, and the senshi looked over, head tilting.

Sailor Forte was more than a little confused. Sailor teleport? As in instantaneous travel? Maybe she had been wrong, and this wasn't some kind of weird magical girl anime come to life after all - rather, it was starting to seem more like a video game. A really, really weird video game...

"...Cheery place, this," she said at last, and while it was sarcastic she wasn't exactly.... bothered by being here (far from it, in fact). It was just... strange looking - and kind of a mess, besides. "So uhm. Are we here to do spring cleaning, or something? 'cause it looks like it could use it."

And - wait a second, had she heard water? In an empty, musty old place like this? Only then did Lysithea's words register, and she crossed her arms and frowned. "Wait, wait - so is this some kind of secret clubhouse? We get one of those? Is that normal?"

It sounded kind of dumb, now that she'd said it, but the idea of having somewhere to go that... well, that actually was hidden and accessible only to a select few sounded nice. Peaceful, even; no pushy social workers or counselors or teachers just waiting for her to screw up and lose her temper again.

Somewhere to breathe.

If this was a secret clubhouse, Forte thought contemplatively, she might just be okay with that.

Subra looked around at the new surroundings with wide blue eyes. Especially the stained glass and mosaics. Those especially had her attention as the craft-loving, art-loving person she was. She kept her ear open for what the others were saying, though, as she ran a hand along part of the floor.

"This place...is ours...?" A place for them...for their new little group. To figure out how to turn youma back into people. To be safe. She took a breathe, and ended up coughing when some of the dust they'd dislodged found her airways.

"If it's ours, I think we have a lot of cleaning to do..."

Adria looked around for only a moment longer before he pulled out his phone. He didn't know where they were or how they'd gotten here--but maybe something on the phone did.

He went to the database and looked first for 'Sailor Teleport'. Nothing.

'Club'. Nothing relevant. 'Moon.'

No information he hadn't already known or researched.

He shifted positions uncertainly as he kept trying new phrases in his phone, skimming through pages of irrelevant information.

"I can't find anything," he confessed, sounding just a little wary. "I mean--it doesn't say that it's not, but..."

Certainly there was a familiarity--a homeliness about it. It felt like visiting his grandmother's house or something. He kept typing in things on his phone, trying to find any information.

"I don't want to mess this place up if it doesn't belong to us, but...I don't know, is there some way to figure out where we are? Is there some way to get out?"

He noticed the one door with the elaborate arch, and the second door, to their backs. Neither had any doorknob and sans the similar markings on each, he didn't note anything remarkable about either.

"...Should we look for a key, or...?"

Not that he wanted to leave right away....he just couldn't help but feel a little anxious at the idea of being trapped.

Lysithea moved over to the bust of the unicorn and placed a hand on it, finally smiling again. “This place is ours…I can just feel it.” She blinked and let out an uncertain laugh. “I mean…wow that sounds kind of stupid and kind of ominous, but I don’t know…being here with all of you…it just feels…right. This all feels right. We…together…we…made this? We found this.”

She turned back to the group, her friends, her allies and grinned. “We should clean it up. Make it a place that we can come…if we ever need a place to come to…Adria...” She looked at the senshi with some concern. “You want to leave…? I mean…I’m…and again, this is guessing…but I’m thinking we’d be able to leave just like on our homeworlds, maybe we have to say sailor teleport again or something but…”

Letting her attention drift again, she made her way towards the arch, running her fingers lightly along anything she could touch as she went. “I mean…if we look, I’m sure we can find a door out of here, I’m not too worried.”

She heard the soft drip of water and reached out, turning the knob to the left. Lefty tighty…right? Or was it Leftly loosey…? Oh well.

"Possible we made AND found it." Elpis drawled. The super senshi walked along calmly, watching the area as she took in the details silently. There was an odd mix of familiarity and strangeness that was mixed with her past life, and present. The senshi mused to herself, and then turned to Lysithia.

"I mean, we probably did make it. In a different life. We just... Re-found what's already ours. I just doubt there's instructions." The senshi rolled her eyes at her own past life, studying a bit of decor herself, the stature vague enough to be unidentifiable, but enough to be a senshi with the familiar cut of a rockflower from her homeworld. The senshi poked it, and snorted in amusement at the tulip-like effigy, grinning.

"Ha, this thing has a plant from my homeworld on it. Or, well, the effigy of one."

"I know I'm not interested in leaving just yet," Forte said, moving over to the bed that ran around the room and peering down at the queer bulbs sitting inside it. "I mean... knowing we can leave is important, I guess?" Nice as this place was, as good as it felt, nobody could stay in an empty room forever. But... she didn't want to leave yet. "But I kinda want to explore a little? Never been in a secret clubhouse kind of thing before, but I bet there's all kinds of stuff hidden here."

Speaking of which, everyone else looked just as confused as she was, or close to it. And since she was the newbie here that... that was kind of concerning.

"So.... uh. Does this kind of thing happen often? Ending up poofed to weird, abandoned places?"

If so...

Boy did she have a lot to get used to.

"I like this place...but we probably should find out how we leave..." She paused, joining Forte in looking at the bed curiously. "Or maybe we leave the way we came? That...Sailor Teleport thingie?" Poor bulbs..."I don't know? This is the first time I've had this happen. I mean...I've been to my homeworld, but there wasn't any place like this there."

She couldn't help but wonder if a good potting soil and some water and some tender care could help the withered bulbs. One never knew with bulbs, after all! "Do you think anyone else might know what's going on? Why we ended up poofed here, to this nifty place that feels...right?"

"Oh," Adria shifted positions. "No, no...I didn't mean leave yet, just..." he twiddled his thumbs some and tried to dispel the brief anxiety of being trapped. They were right--they could probably teleport out. This wasn't like being trapped in a locker or something so he breathed in a little sigh and relaxed.

It was easy to do here; this whole place had a gentle, peaceful aura.

Lysithea's fiddling didn't seem to have any effect for a few seconds, but there the room then filled with a low metallic hum and a faint rumbling. Suddenly, water began trickling out from behind the grating, filling to hollowed out bed in the marble. Its purpose suddenly became clear: it was a fountain. The flow of water filled the bed and lifted the bulbs from the bottom. They floated with the water, following each wall in the room. The flow of the fountain seemed carefully designed; it even managed to travel at an incline above the door behind them. The marble then dipped to it normal height--and the water traveled through the wall. The bulbs were the perfect size to easily pass through the grating. A moment later, they appeared back through the grating near Lysithea, merrily bobbing along.

Though they couldn't see it, it was clear that fountain followed some course they couldn't see beyond this wall.

Which begged the question of what lay behind the doors with no handles.

Adria's eyes had followed the flowers; when they'd disappeared his eyes had found a mosaic in the colors of his uniform, with the symbol on his brooch.

...They belonged there.

He didn't know why, or how, but it made sense.

…Oops…maybe it was righty tighty…yeah, of course it was. That’s what rhymed. Lysithea would have turned the water back off, but the gently bobbing bulbs distracted her and she watched their progress through the grate and back again.

It would be a shame to turn it off now…so Lysithea just left it, walking back over to Adira. “So…what now…? Do you guys wanna…” She hesitated and shrugged. “I think this place is a little messy…maybe…when we come back again, we could bring some things to clean it up a little? I know I promised you all some ice cream, and I want to make sure I deliver on that promise.”

She held out her hand to Adria and smiled. “How about we…we try to do this again…and while we have our ice cream, we can talk about when we can come back and what to bring, okay?” She looked around at the others, holding out her other hand, her smile growing warmer as she looked at the group.

“We’ll make this place something really special.”

Elpis remained examining the sculpture a bit longer, fingers tracing the flower sculpture a bit longer before she watched the water, and the bulbs, brows raising. Her fingrs abandoned exploring, ignoring things as she moved to study the fountain in curiousity. It dipped and moved and drew her focus around the room, almost like a focal point, and the process led Elpis to see each and every feature. It was a calming hodgepodge of organized chaos and yet entirely order and -- okay, so maybe trying to define it wasn't quite eas for a scientific brain, and she sighed. Mmmmagic. It was all mmmmagic.

By now that was her catch-all for everything powered, realy, and she hummed. The age -- and as Lysithia mentioned, cleaning - would be a job and the senshi decided to assess the room first, circling and examining it as a whole. Perhaps they'd clean the stone, add plants; and figure out how to get things clean and tidy with a good sweeping and mopping. Likely, something to keep algae from the water, and...

And her mind was visibly clicking away several moments as she thought, tapping her chin as she moved to Adria and Lysithia, humming idly a moment before dipping her head to indicae the room.

"Sounds fair to me. Might brainstorm ways to maintain this place too. I have a few ideas there -- nothing concrete mind. But we definately might want to clean up. Maybe find out more doing so?"

It was an idea anyhow -- and really an idea was better than the general worry she was ea third wheel.... Although the room was doing a good job of relieving THAT worry, really, but reassurance still helped!, even just from trying to contribute.

"Oh, that's cool," Forte said as the water started flowing, and while she wasn't sure she should, she reached out and poked at one of the bulbs as it floated by in the current from the fountain. "Think those are some kind of water-flower?" She asked idly, finally pulling her gaze away from the strangely-soothing little indoor-stream to look over at the rest of the group.

"I mean... it'd explain why they were in there, since this is definitely meant to run like this..." Unsure of her theory now, the newest senshi in the group shrugged at her own idea, then glanced around and frowned. "Ugh... cleaning?" She made a face, then sighed. "Eh... at least it's not as a punishment detail." Cleaning was her least favorite chore rotation (or punishment!) at St. Mags, and it didn't really thrill her to know she was probably going to have to do it as a magical gir---- a senshi now, too.

"Don't suppose there's a magic broom or something we could use?"

Since she doubted it, she moved over to check out the sculpture herself, curious about what the others had found so interesting. Looking at the tulip one Elpis had been tracing, she poked curiously at a few others. "So... there one of these for each of us? 's kind of creepy." Or it would be, if this place didn't feel so comfortable. It wasn't like any of them knew this place existed, or what they were going to do with it - so... did it know them somehow? A room knowing someone didn't sound all that strange when you considered it in the same light as monsters and talking animals and magic clothing changes.

The sudden flow of water that went through the bed surprised Subra, the chibi senshi watching as the bulbs floated along. “Maybe they’re like water lilies, or lotuses!” Those both had really pretty flowers...and it made her hope that whatever flowers lay inside the bulbs, waiting to someday sprout again, were just as pretty. Or even prettier! “I wonder if they need more than just water, though. Especially since they look like they went dormant…” She couldn’t help but wonder how long it had been since someone was there last…

She moved from where she had been observing to over by Lysithea, nodding. “That sounds like a good idea! There’s definitely a lot to do, and when there’s a lot of cleaning, it’s best to make a plan of action!” That was how her mother had taught her! Because cleaning was just like any other project, after all, with different steps and parts! “I can look into water plants, too! See if there’s maybe something we can do to help make sure whatever those bulbs are grow nice and strong again!” Because there certainly was a chance for them. Bulbs were hearty little things, after all!

“I’m ready when you guys are!” She gave a big grin to the whole group, looking far more cheerful than the animal of her sphere. “And when we come back, we’re gonna make this place look amazing! Maybe even better than however it used to look!” Because with so much dust, it had to have been a place people once came to, and with it being so pretty even with the dust...well, it had to have looked AMAZING once upon a time...
