From the outside, Meryll had observed her brother and guessed in what direction he was going. From a far distance did the young queen see that her mischievous sibling was up to his jokes again and gave the ground guards a jump. Giving a smirk and mapping out an even better route, the cheerful girl flapped her wings in her desired direction. An open wide sky, Meryll flew over trees, weaved through pillars, and waved to surprised faces as her wings took her to her destination. Her long tendrils of hair stinging her face as it went wild the more she flew with high speed. After a few unfocused moments, the lovely glass windows of the greenhouse garden appeared in sight. Tucking her wings in slowly, the queen slowed her momentum and once she was in reach, the angel curved her body upwards and spread her wings wide. Causing her body's direction to change. Steadily raising to reach the roof of the greenhouse. With precise care in her landing, Meryll's delicate feet connected with the transparent glass. From what she could tell, and from what she was able to see through all the greenery peaking out from the open trap door windows, the young queen concluded that she was the winner of the wager. Seems the fastest angel is also the least distracted angel. Ah but I cannot blame my dear brother. He is most accustomed to the fun than I am. Meryll giggled as the words spilled from her mouth. Though a regretful bitterness crept into her heart. Walking along the delicate but strong transparent roof, Meryll soon found an opened window and jumped down the entry way to land herself inside. Using her wings to slow down her landing, the woman bent her knees for the impact was much more than when she was in open space. Looking around the crowded garden, happy memories of her youthful days flooded her mind. Just as the distant past feelings came along with the memories, the more playful emotion was begging to show itself. Looking around, Meryll grew an even bigger smile and moved her body accordingly. Hiding herself inside one of large birdcages, the queen used her Temporal Viso to camouflage herself with the surrounding area. Patiently awaiting for her brother to arrive.

A joyful laugh had passed the Prince's lips after the guards jumped as he swished passed. It was always a fun thing to experience when he was able to startle people. Even on his adolescence, the young angel enjoyed mischief. Not that Noel had much else to do to keep himself entertained in all honesty. After startling the guards, he had sped along through the broad halls and made his way to the greenhouse, more concerned with having fun along the way than arriving at the greenhouse first by now.
The young man was easily distracted. As he went his way to the greenhouse, Noel did not neglect passing by some of the orchards, plucking a few of their most juiciest golden apples for his sister and him to go with their tea. With a small bag filled with 4 apples, the angel steered away with his body and proceeded his flight to the greenhouse. As if he suddenly remembered it was to be a contest who would get there faster, the prince suddenly sped up considerably and took then the shortest way to the greenhouse before tucking his wings close and diving himself through one of the windows, then opened them again a bit to guide his glide to the ground. Soon after he landed on the ground without making as much as a sound thanks to his angelic lightweight and wings and he looked around himself.
A small smile played over his lips as he remembered the times he spent here with his sister before she had become to busy to enjoy some fun with her little brother. They shared plenty of laughter and tears in this greenhouse. Noel looked around to see if he could spot his sister, surprised that she wasn't waiting for him here after his distracted detour. Perhaps he hadn't been the only one that got distracted. Before he could fully enjoy victory however he could feel a different kind of energy from the rest to the left of him in a birdcage. The angel looked but he only saw the birds that made that cage their home. "Well that is odd." he spoke before he tilted his head a bit and then shrugged and dismissed the feeling and started to walk deeper into the greenhouse to wait for Meryll at the area with a table and chairs.

With the slightest sound coming from not to far away reached the young Queen's ears, the woman held her breath in anticipation. Quietly observing her younger sibling from her hiding spot. Being careful not to move an inch until it was time, Meryll heart jumped when Noel gave a glance in her way. Perhaps he had found her? Though in the next second the woman question was given her answer. A playful smirk crossed her lips and she began to exit the birdcage. Descending from the high place and landing with light steps, Meryll continued her camouflage while slowly walking to the other angel. Creeping ever so quietly, once she was close in range, Meryll playfully nipped at his long silver hair. Once he reacted the woman turned in another direction and nipped once again. Continuing this charade until her brother figured out what was going on. Every so often a giggle would erupt from her throat only for her to stifle it with her hand.

Noel looked around the area as he observed if he could see his sister yet. Either she was deeper inside and already at the table, or he had miraculously defeated her in this race. Either way, the young man didn't find anything else off anymore since that energy vibration in the cage so he assumed he was alone thus far. He smiled and moved the small bags with apples up a bit so he held them in two arms as he reached the table. It was then he felt something move through his hair and he looked, just to feel it on the other side. At first he wondered what was going on, until he heard the giggle at least. Noel rolled his eyes a bit and shook his head before he smiled. "Meryll, if you want a man to think they have lost their mind, you have to learn to not giggle while teasing them." he spoke gently and calmly before he grinned and chuckled, placing the bag with apples on the table and turned around. "What do you say to lifting your little witchcraft and joining me for that cup of tea, before the guards come to collect you again?" he asked and smiled. It was good to be here with his sister again for a change. Since she took over the kingdom, it was difficult to get time with her like this and Noel sorely missed it.

Meryll could not help but giggle even more when her brother pointed out that she was making too much noise. Still cloaked, the angel lightly reprimanded her brother. Excuse you. This is none close to witchcraft. Merely asking the natural rays to assist me in my play. Lightly spreading her wings, the angel dissolved her rouge and returned to her visible form completely. A light sheen was left behind on her feathers. Close by to their table was a small bush of honeysuckle. Carefully plucking a few, Meryl returned to the table and outstretched her hand to offer some of the sticky plant to Noel before taking her seat. What delayed you so much brother? Off playing with the palace guards again? At least you brought something back. Nipping on the honeysuckle, Meryll raised her hand and outstretched it to a beam of light that was spilling in from the outside. As if there was something else than just air, the young Queen in fact took a piece of that light into her hand and clenched it with little force. The next second a semi transparent ladybug emerged from her hand. Peach lemonade tea please. What would you like Noel? Giving orders to her little makeshift friend, Meryll then turned towards the other and patiently waited for his reply. The little creature flying off of Meryll's hand and near Noel's person. Also waiting for his reply before flying off to ask a maid to prepare their drink.

This time it was Noel's turn to chuckle as his sister fell for his little tease about witchcraft. It had merely been a jest of course. But Meryll didn't fail him in going at it. The young man smiled when she appeared back in her visible form and nodded. As his sister picked some honeysuckles, Noel opened up the bag and lowered it, nearly folding the paper to form a sort of basket around the apple. When he looked up he noticed she was offering him some as well and he accepted some with a smile, before he put the end of one of the flowers in his mouth for the nectar. It was a natural sweet that was really delicious.
At least those at the palace were in his opinion. He sat down soon after Meryll and offered the apples. "I got distracted when I passed out apple trees and noticed these beauties just hanging there. They are perfectly mild and sweet right now. I had to bring some." he spoke when he momentarily had removed the honeysuckle form his mouth and chuckled. He watched as Meryll conjured the ladybug to send the message to their servants and smiled as it came flying towards him. The angel was calmly enjoying the calm time he could spent with his sister. Noel lifted his hand for the bug to sit on. "I'll take a Sakura Tea please." he said before it flew off with their request. He finished the honeysuckle he had and looked at his sister. Noel wasn't much for candy, but he was alright with this natural flower. "How have you been doing, Meryll? Loose from the constant work of course." he asked and smiled as he leaned back.

An enriching smile crossed the woman's face as the lovely nectar filled the edges of her mouth. It's all natural flavor was like eating a small bit of sunshine. Glancing towards the apples, Meryll's eyes widen at the beautiful and vibrant color of the fresh apple. An even bigger smile formed at the thought of juices running down her throat. Finishing up with her honeysuckle, the angel then switch towards the apple. Holding the bright fruit in her hand. I am fairing well. Although I have no right to complain, it seems my body is weary due to my constant work. I can find myself sunbathing regularly. But please do not worry about me. I am just fine now that we are having this time together. Giving her best reassuring smile, Meryll took her attention to the apple in her hands. Bitting into the tough outer layer, the fruit gave a nice crunch and the young Queen reveled in the taste. Though she spoke rather calmly about her health, it is always notify troubling to have an angel of her power to constantly be sunbathing. This was always a method for the angel to replenish her energy. Hearing that she does this often is probably not a good sign.

Noel wasn't convinced by his sister's assurance she was fine. If an angel needed to soak up that much sunshine, they truly were exhausted. "It sounds like you need to take some time off. Surely our parents didn't need that much sunbathing? So they were somehow keeping it balanced." he spoke, a little concerned about her situation. Truth be told he didn't remember much about their parents. He experienced his father for nine years. But in that time he didn't really pay much attention to what happened unless it was right near him, also partly because he got distracted so easily. He watched Meryll for a moment as she enjoyed the apple but then he got one himself and started eating it as well as they waited. Surely if they would see his sister sunbathing so much it should give a warning sign they are running her down. She needed more time for herself. Noel had plenty of time outside in the sunshine, since he didn't really have any obligations but regular fighting practices. But those were outside as well. "You need to tell them you need more time outside. You are the boss, not them. They are to listen to you." he reminded his sister of her rank which was numerously higher than the guards. Heck even Noel was higher than them.

With the comment of thei deseased parents, Meryll felt a small pang of longing. She remembered their hardworking nature. Yes but remember father and mother shared the work in the beginning. They did not need to sunbath often. Speaking without thinking, the angel took another bite of her treat before finally taking note of her words. How could Noel possibly remember their mother working so hard along side the king? Although she did not have many memories of their mother either, she at least had the privilege of remembering her voice. Feeling a bit uncomfortable at her insensitive words, the young queen moved the conversation along. Perhaps you are right. There was just so much to do that i did not want to leave anything to the council. Do not fret so much brother. My heavy work is almost completed. After that I will set a light and regular schedule. And then you can take me to all the wonderful places youve found in the kingdom. Fair? Just as the Queen recieved her answer, a faint sound of buzzing was heard from the entrance. Looking in that direction, Meryll saw her little friend coming back with a tray of teacups. Only this time it was a multitude of bugs caring the tray at once. The ladybug made of light seemed to have split itself to carry out its orders. The tray which actually looked as if it was magically floating towards the two , was gently places on the table. With its task completes the ladybugs returned from where they came from; into the beam of light. Meryll giggled and thanked her friend for its good work. See. I am not so wary to skip out on my training.

When his sister mentioned remembering they had each other, Noel just glanced toward Meryll, but he didn't speak. Instead he looked away again and at the apple in his hand that he was eating. Of course he didn't remember, how was he to remember someone he never knew, but from stories from others? After he learned his mother had died giving birth to him, the angel had often felt guilty for that. After all if he hadn't been born, their mother would still be alive now. Today was no exception. His sister was quick with talking on as if she hadn't uttered those words, but it had already been done and left Noel in a rather timid mood about it where he couldn't look anyone in the eye. Was it not true that he had bereft his sister of her mother she had known? Just by being brought into this world, what kind of herald was death to an angel's birth? Other than an angel of death. His strength with light was strong, but not as strong as his sister's and was probably more the case because he had blood from the two royals of light and naught more.
Though Noel had not let this all determine much of his personality and behavior, he had those rare moments of darkness where he wondered. Wondered if the light truly was his calling. It took Noel a bit to realize his sister had still been talking to him while he was lost in thought a bit. A small "Huh?...ah yes." had come from the young man after he realized what she had said. It would be a good idea if she would take it easy. Especially if she was run down so much she needed the sun so badly. Soon after though they were interrupted by the sound of buzzing. Their order was being brought in. It would seem that the servants at least didn't make it a problem their queen was taking a break. Noel watched as the tray gently eased onto the table before the ladybugs dispersed and vanished back into the light.
That was already something he was unable to do, and he had tried. He nodded and smiled a bit, not wanting to let his thoughts cloud this rare moment with his sister. Their time together was as thin as it was. Ruling the kingdom was his sister's priority, though he couldn't blame her and he did understand it. She was responsible for every citizen of Light after all. The prince placed the cups from the tray onto the table before placing the tray on the ground against the table leg so they had room for their drinks as they spoke together while they could. "I think you will like some of the places I visited. Some are just nature, not a hint in sight of any other but plants, trees and animals." he spoke, distracting his thoughts from the darker spectrum.

Taking a little break from the apple, the angel gently picked up her tea cup and lightly sipped. The lukewarm liquid running down her throat and settling nicely in her belly. Though the mood changed slightly, Meryll still felt a bit guilty at her earlier words. A sense of meloncholy hit her core. just then a few questions poped up. Noel?. The young queen called out. A hint ofsororow in her voice. Though a smile graced her face. Tell me about outside. How is everyone? Has anything changed?

Noel didn't speak much more for a while after speaking of his sister liking what he had seen so far. He finished his apple before he moved on to the tea. It wouldn't taste well if it was cold after all. Though it wouldn't be unusual if Noel's tea was left standing for to long. In truth the prince wasn't sure what to say. It was true that his sister's words had touched a sensitive chord with Noel, but by now he was old enough to know she didn't intend to hurt him nor his feelings. When she called his name however, Noel looked up a bit as he waited for her continue. The question gave him pause to think however. Did much change? If it did then it went so slow he barely noticed. Since he was always out there, or at least as much as he could escape the endless droning of classes about fighting and some on political. After all if something happened where they had to visit other countries officially, he was required to exhibit the same elegance as his sister the queen. "Everyone is well it seems. The kingdom seems to have picked themselves up after your coronation and it is back to be bustling and prosperous from what I have seen." he replied. "But it doesn't look like there much else has changed since." he added. "You should see it for yourself when able."

While she heared the words of the angel before hwr, the young miss finished the rest of her drink. Though as of now its taste was not on her mind. Remembering the time before her coronation and all the comments that manage to reach her ears. It was restless no doubt. The citizens a bit wary and the activity stale. It was relaxing to hear the cheer had returned. Though it did make Meryll giggle a bit at Noels point of view of nothing changing. She was sure something changed. Everyday something changes. Is that so? Good. with a half hearted smile Meryll set aside her now finished tea and took a breath. A lingering feeling in her belly. The feeling growing more and more. She had to get the words out. My apologies. I must be more careful with my words. I failed to realize in time. Perhaps my next sunbath youd grant me company? The Queen sheepishly asked after her sincere apology. Her wings responding with her mood and raising itself slightly.

It would seem his sister was occupied with her thoughts. Not that Noel could rightfully blame her. A lot had happened to them in their life already. Even as children they had to deal with a lot more than others would have, his sister more so as Noel had been to young at the time. It seemed she relaxed a bit hearing the kingdom was doing well however. The angel smiled a bit and nodded after she spoke about that. It was good that they had picked up again, even through the grief of losing both rulers. Noel finished his tea and placed the cup aside on the table before he picked up another of the apples he had brought here. He did enjoy the taste of them a lot. He listened well to his sister as she spoke again though, as she was apologizing for her ill chosen words. But she couldn't really help it now could she? "It's alright, it just escaped you." he answered, it hadn't angered him and the sad feeling could be combated by remembering they were still talking as they always did, even though Meryll was often to busy now. The prince nodded on her question. He didn't really need much sunbathing cause he always was out in the sun. He even managed to move his lessons outside. But he could keep her company when she did need it. "If you'd want me to, I'd like to spend more time with you." he replied.
