Text from Allan ┌(・。・)┘♪└(・。・)┐♪┌(・。・)┘ ALLAN SAMAS ROOM The Sun room was as luxurious as ever, a massive suite that doubled as the Sun division office after the great Sun offices disaster of '14. There was a kitchen counter filled to the brim full of Help Yourself Asian snacks, and someone had taken the time to clean, tidy up, and vacuum the place, as it was missing it's usual beanbags, plushes, errant manga, and blankets everywhere. The shelves looked extra polished, the manga all organized alphabetically or just by colour in some extreme cases, and even the Sun lead's coat looked extra laundried.
"Sun division meeting start!" Allan made a motion to stand on the couch, and then glanced over at Simon, and just settled for a single victory sign. He was actually wearing his division coat for once, which was a rarity in itself, though it was currently modified to look like some character from Sword Art Online's coat down to the buckles. "Now, everyone has done a very, very good job and Allan-sensei is very proud of you." He crossed his arms and legs and nodded a few times to himself sagely. "Because of this, everyone is promoted!"
The Sun lead got an alarmed look from about five Sun Hunters in the room.
"To super extra nakama," Allan added, before just smiling and then unfolding the origami crane to reveal a bulletin list of things to cover. "So, congratulations! Omedetou! You are Sun Hunters and this is the best division but don't tell anyone else or they'll get jealous and that will make you feel bad. Sun Hunters need to train and exercise to fight and protect their nakama. That means there are many, many people relying on us, and we cannot disappoint them. Believe in them! Believe in us! Believe in the them that believes in us!"
He scanned the paper one more time, and then flipped it over. "Okay then, nakama training! Are there any volunteers?" It was very nice in the Sun room. Weirdly nice. Peyton glanced around at the tidied surroundings with a small, almost concerned frown on her face before moving to help herself to a few sticks of pockey before claiming a seat wherever available. She ate in silence, attention divided between a small stack of flash cards she'd brought along, and the Sun leads themselves.
As various trainees under her care began to trickle in she'd wave them over with a smile, and to those who had not yet been introduced to Allen's unique and upbeat linguistics, she'd hand over one of the flash cards. Each contained handwritten notes on the various foreign phrases they'd be hearing, what they meant, and how to pronounce them phonically.
Once everyone was settled, and after Allen had turned the floor over to those with specializations, the dainty Sun would glance quickly towards her colleges before bouncing up to her feet.
"Hello! I'm Peyton, and I specialize in combat training, both armed and unarmed. There's nothing overly complex about it. I'm available for introductions to fighting, or personal training for advancement purposes, and skill testing. If you think you could benefit from that in any way, please don't hesitate to come and find me, or drop me a message on twitter."
She paused, glancing at her various trainees, then back up. "In addition, I know I already have a number of trainees already under my care, but I would never turn anyone away that felt like they'd be a good fit with me as a mentor."
And with that she'd offer the room a large grin, then reclaim her seat.

Otto hated meetings. Hated being around too many people. And worst off, hated any semblance of spotlight. However, he was a Hunter with a Specialization. As such he had certain responsibilities, and he had to own up to them. Like an adult.
He hated being an adult sometimes. As such, he didn't say much of anything until prodded, or even just stared expectantly at, by Allan and his surly sidekick.
"Any new trainees that don't know me... I'm Otto Graves. I specialize in Survival Training." He looked pointedly at his fingernails rather than the eyes and ears that may be directed at him.
"Missions are dangerous, and I see too many people get caught up in their own s**t to realize the danger they put themselves and others in. Basically, don't do anything stupid, and think about the consequences to not just you, but your team mates too." He'd like to say to pretend Caelius was behind you while you made decisions, but that seemed redundant in a Sun meeting.
Otto sat down again and busied himself by pointedly ignoring everyone in the room.

This was definitely the strangest thing she'd ever seen. Which, honestly, wasn't saying a whole lot when you were a grand fourteen years old and seen pretty much precisely nothing of the world. Cami had tried to wait until she heard talking before quietly moving into the room, her coat dragging a couple of inches behind her. She'd found that at least her leggings would fit though there was a big of bagginess in the thighs but all of her shirts were massive. Right now she was tucked into a hoodie two sizes too big that swallowed her body in a rather comforting way. Caroline had suggested that it would be a good idea to go to the meetings, to meet others, to make friends. Cami wasn't all that sure that friends were going to happen but at least she could get the lay of the land. The land, apparently, was that of the Rising Sun. Even on the island she knew about anime though she didn't recognize the SAO bullshit that Allan had modified his coat into. Peyton looked like the kind of girl that she would have hung out with back home but it was Otto that had he pressing her back hard against the wall. She knew that face. Not from a memory but rather the nine million pictures of him on her (though was it really her anymore?) phone. Toes curled inside of her trainers as she tried to figure out what to do next. Quote: OOC: Sorry, this is me being boring and not very helpful. People are welcome to come up to Cami but she's pretty shy right now and not sure what to do.

Malkam shuffled over to the refreshments, piling up a plate of sushi and picking a weird drink.
It felt strange going without Mik. The guy in charge seemed a little racist, but he was trying not to judge. He believed him when he said train and fight to protect...whatever nakama was. For him, it was family.
"Is there a gun range?" He asked, getting a seat. "Or someone who does that?"

Chance slid into a seat beside Otto, crossing one leg over the other, one arm slung around the empty seat to his left, the other hand in his lap as he made himself comfortable.
"Nice speech," he said, tilting his head slightly in the other's direction, amusement flickering in his eyes. "Never pegged you for a class-president sorta guy."
The others in the room were given curious looks - Peyton received a little wave of Chance's fingers as a general greeting, Allan, of course, was...well, Allan (Chance still couldn't figure him out whatsoever) - but there was at least one young face in the crowd, and several unfamiliar.

Kai had heard that their group was lead by Allan and that Suns fought. That was the entire textbook of information he knew about the division he was placed in, and he came into the room with a expression that said as much. The place felt far too well kept and organized that it made him uncomfortable that he shouldn't get too close to something else he should mess it up, and worse that it was clearly someone's room.
The only consultation was that there was food with a note that left him glad he didn't have to make assumptions. Taking some bagged things and a bottle that was green in which he hoped was some knock-off Chinese sprite, he walked over and eased himself down next to Peyton, the one other person he actually recognized. He tried not to take much room -which failed by merely existing.
Reaching back, he pulled back his massive braid to rest down his shoulder and chest and into his lap with his snacks and then stared as Peyton gave him some cards. Was - he being quizzed? Why was he being given cards?!!
Hands sweating, he started to look at the words and definitions and was even more lost. Na-ka-ka? Coco-co? Core-coco? He tried silently mouthing them out and stared as the mess of neat flashcards in his warm hands.
How long were meetings?
Staring, he watched as Peyton explained her specialization and then a kid who had a last name that made him sound like a Bond villain. This wasn't helped by a perky man sitting on the couch who had made ZERO sense to him and a serious dude ready to do some serious taxes sitting further off who had said nothing.
What was the difference between Survival and Combat? Wasn't that the same thing?! You fought to survive, right?
He tried to look at the flashcards for any answers. What was a Koon? Kuon? He had to say some of these words after a name? Was that protocol? Peyton and Otto didn't? Wait, this said it was for people older than him? Wait, so he said these words? Was it Kon or Sandsay? Which did he use? These all said after names!

Allan brightened at Malkam's question, after clapping and cheering loudly post Peyton and Otto's speech. "Hai, Simon-sensei will show you where it is after the meeting. You can practice together as nakama!"
Having solved that question, he went around the room and refreshed everyone's drinks with mostly Ramune, making sure to supply Cami with two bottles and an Pokemon sticker book just in case she felt like this conversation was too adult.
"Eat and drink lots and lots now because training will be super intense." There was a competitive glint in his eyes.

Kai wasn't pretty much impossible to miss as he took a seat beside her, and she flashed him a bright grin before covertly sneaking something tasty from his plate. She wasn't sure what it was, but she was pretty sure there was soy flavoring in it. While she chewed, listening to Otto, and then another if the newer trainees, she couldn't help but notice the way the big man beside her was shuffling through the cards, and she'd lay a hand on one of his, patting it softly to give herself a chance to swallow, then leaned over to whisper to him. "It's just a cheat sheet. A lot of Japanese terms get tossed around in Sun because Allan is obsessed. I thought the note cards would make it easier." Another smile, then a little wave to Chance as she noticed his greeting. Then she realized another if her friends was present, or former friend? Cami looked a fair bit daintier as a teen. Close to Peyton's own size, though the baggy clothing the little trainee was wearing made it hard to tell. Frowning softly, Pey murmured up to Kai that she'd be right back, then slipped off the couch to make her way over to the teen once Allan had walked away again. Voice low, she offered her hand out to Cami. "Hi. You dint remember me, but I used to be a good friend of your's and your Sun mentor. My names Peyton. Would you like to come sit with me? Maybe get a snack?"

Eyebrows knit at the sticker book as she frowned ever-so-slightly at it. Pokemon? Really? Camille knew that she was young but wow nobody played Pokemon anymore! That was kiddie stuff! Setting it to the side she put the bottles of ramune on top having absolutely no idea how to open it or what kind of drink it was. "Thank you Mr. Allan. Sir." Vanessa might not have raised her child much but she had at least bothered to instill manners in her. The hand that was stuffed inside the front pocket of her sweatshirt tightened around her phone, fighting the urge to text Caroline and ask her to show up. Ama wasn't in Sun Division and had told her daughter that she didn't have to be either if she didn't want to. Right now she wasn't sure she wanted to be on the island but that wasn't really an option now was it? She saw Peyton coming and took the offered hand with some nervousness. Cami flinched only a little at the mention that they'd been friends before whatever it was that happened to her happened. It was hard to know for sure if they had really been friends but this girl seemed nice enough. Ama had said to trust her heart and so she was going to as best she could. "Hi uhm...would it be super awful to say no thank you? It's not you!" She hastily assured her old mentor. "I'd love to talk to you another time but right now I'm trying to sorta be on the down-low. I don't want a whole lot of attention." Marking likely the first time in Camille Ryland's whole life she had said such a thing.

Peyton's smile didn't be even so much as twitch. Instead she only seemed to smile brighter, and she'd give Cami's hand a little squeeze before letting it go. "Not in the least. I just happened to notice you standing over here on your own." She knew this Cami wasn't familiar with her or the friendship they'd had, that was okay(no it wasn't, but it wasn't this girl's fault), it didn't mean she couldn't still look out for her. "If you change you mind, though," she glanced over her shoulder, indicating the couch with her thumb. "Just come on over." Not wanting to make Cami feel anymore uncomfortable, the Hunter turned to leave her to her wallflowering, though she would pause for just a moment more. "I've got some shirts and leggings that would probably be a better fit than those, if you'd like some. Let me know, you can come rifle through my closet." Then she'd heard back to her seat, wiggling her fingers at the teen. To kai, as she sank back down beside him. "Miss me?"

If anyone was listening attentively, they might hear muffled screaming followed by a loud crash, along with the sound of many things falling (which suspiciously sounded like food), followed with a thud, which may have been a body.
A few seconds passed, some scuffling was heard, and then a petite strawberry-blonde haired hunter bustled in, arms armed with miscellaneous Japanese goodies, which involved pocky, ramune, konpeito, strangely-flavored kitkat bars and... chips. "GOMEN!! AM I LATE FOR THE CON?!??!" Dae was internally screaming on the inside.
Fortunately (or unfortunately), Mimi was now all healed from her... "past adventures", and had been VERY EXCITED they were hosting their own con on the island. She was even in cosplay (at least she remembered her coat..)
Suddenly she heard Pey-san's voice, and immediately dropped EVERYTHING SHE WAS HOLDING, and started waving madly at the sun hunter. "HI PEY-SAN!!!" Oh wait was that Kai? "HI KAI!!!"
Dae in the meanwhile wanted to cry.
Apparently nothing was more important than FRIENDSHIP according to Mimi.

The Sun room looked unusually clean. This, Jordan thought, was probably Simon's doing. It was nice; while the office was generally rather comfortable-looking, it wasn't incredibly professional. Then again: Allan. Peyton had prepared flash cards for the random Japanese Allan liked to use, which Jordan actually thought was a pretty good idea, even if it seemed to be leaving some of the newer Suns somewhat puzzled.
After Pey and Otto had spoken up, he got up as well. "I'm Jordan Miller," he introduced himself to the newer trainees. "Like Peyton, I specialize in combat training; I'm available to help with introductory skills or further training. I can also provide help in learning the effective use of heavy-class weapons." He smiled. "In other words, if your weapon's awkwardly big, I can help you figure that out. If you need assistance with training or have questions, feel free to find me or message me by Twitter or text."
He sat back down, glancing around to see if there were any other specialists who were going to speak, or in anyone looked particularly lost. Pey had already moved over to talk to the confused-looking new trainee. The girl who'd burst in slightly late looked like she was already well-prepared for the meeting.

Ace looked like he just got out of bed. The 6'3'' tall slender man was wearing a pair of casual ripped jeans dyed in black while under his trainee hunter coat barely buttoned, there seemed to be nothing. For the newbies, he looked strange, with eye-catching make-up and a pair of black gloves. One would quickly realized he was wearing contacts, heterochromatic one in raspberry and teal. This was his second time to attend the division meeting, last time their Otto senapi brought them to an exciting desert adventure with the Famine. Unlike last time, they had it in the Sun office which he'd visited when he was rejuvenated. Called office, the place actually filled with vibes of residents, a place to live rather than to work. Ace mused with interest at the possible housewife material behind all the neatness and tidiness. Among those Asian snacks, he picked one bag with a squid and chilis drawn on it. If he can't understand the words, at least he could guess by the graphics. Walked toward to the seats in a laid-back manner, he settled himself comfortably. The run-down was quite similar to the previous one, full hunters followed one another to introduce themselves and their specialization respectively. Ace, as a trainee had no idea what he wanted to specialize in future despite of a year of time spent on the island. He kept his body in the best condition all the time, he learned combat skills by sparring with others but that's all. Meanwhile, Catherine was appreciated Allan's about-to-burst muscles underneath his hunter coat and made some dreamy sighs. Ace was refusing Allan's offer of Rumune when Mimi broke in like the heroine in cheesy shoujo manga. She was well dressed for the meeting, the tall man flashed a charming wink at her and left his seat to help picking up the many things she dropped. "We've just started."

Kai looked back at Peyton with knit brows at her return. "When we tested?" It came with immediate relief when she set her slender hand on his and told him the cards were just there to explain words used. Breathing out, he set the now soggy cards down and wiped his palms on his jeans before going for the soda.
"Thought I was back in school there." He muttered.
Mimi came in as gracefully as a dove hitting a truck windshield and he stared at her. The word "con" only had one meaning for him and he tensed in response as he looked around and back at who she was trying to call out.
Her volume was startling in the quiet professionalism but somehow welcomed and he smiled at her confidence and uncaring attitude. He waved two fingers back with a "Yo."
As another hunter explained himself, he waved a hand to ask. "Okay so like - got classes on big weapons but you go steroids or magic to make any bigger?" He summoned his weapon to show off the small trident that was barely bigger than his hand. "What I supposed to do with dis?"
