This bar was built in Briggs several years ago, with a living space on the top floor which can be reached by a staircase in the hall and it has gone from father to son ever since. With the exception of Jake and his father as he was to young to take over when the man disappeared, so the bar went into the hands of his mother. When he turned eighteen years old, he finally was given ownership of the establishment and he has run it since. When he turned 21, his mother left the villages as well and he has been on his own but doing a good job at keeping the place running. In the weekend there is the possibility of a live DJ and party.

Now Hiring: Bartenders
On the door there is an advertisement telling the bar is looking for staff now it seems to be a success. The list under it naming bartenders, while offering open air space for artists to put a show as long as they speak to Jake first. Below that are the opening hours that speak of 5pm till 2am in the midweek and 2pm - 3pm in weekends, but Jake has been known to be around earlier or later (or both) and doesn't seem to mind customers at any hour while he is downstairs in the bar.

The bar was quite lively already. Some people drinking an innocent refreshment, it wasn't all alcohol that the bar sold. Work was what brought Jake to his bar today though. He was still the only bartender of the Big Cat and the bar was open. Since people would always be interested in a drink, the bar was open all days of the week. It was becoming to much for Jake alone however, so this morning he had hung up an advertisement on the door that he was hiring bartenders. The bar was running very well so he could easily pay them a salary and with how busy it had become lately, he could use the help so he had some time off as well.
Currently he was cleaning up the bar for a moment and he sighed a bit as he rubbed his head. The young man was glad that he had managed to safe the bar from closing and to even thrive, but it was taking a lot out of him. He didn't let it dampen his mood however. One of his regulars was eyeing him a bit with a worried expression. The young man looked back at them, before he shrugged and smiled a bit. The last he needed was one of his costumers worrying about how he was coping. Jake knelt down and looked at the bottles that were stored under the counter of the bar. They were all placed here in rows of three bottles to begin with.
At first he had been struggling to make ends meet, but by now he got more money in than that the bar was costing him so it was going the right way. After he stocked the missing bottles he rose to his feet and was slightly surprised to see the young man from before sitting in front of him suddenly. "Hey Jake, how is it going? I see you finally wizened up and started to recruit for bartenders?" he teased the bar owner and grinned at the other. Jake just smiled, knowing full well the other male was just pulling his leg. "Once I can take some time off, someone will have to pick up the slack here. Who else can do the dirty work? Why, you offering?" he teased back.
"No thanks, I am already insane enough without working for you." the answer came and drew laughter from both males as they were just passing the time. As if on cue Jingo, Jake's black tabby came walking into the bar as if it was nobody's business. The young man didn't mind as his pet seemed to be well liked by most his costumers and if things did get ugly he was gone just as fast. It had taken Jake a while to teach the feline not to get in the bar area though, cause of hygiene and all, so he now just walked to the bar itself. For now everyone seemed provided with a drink, so Jake decided to take a break himself and poured a coke in a glass and he walked to a nearby table sitting down with his friend.
Jingo lost no moment of that and it took him only seconds to jump on his owner's lap and let out a soft mew. Jake chuckled and tickled the cat under his chin, causing the pet to purr softly, enjoying the attention he was given before Jingo resorted to curling up in Jake's lap. The young man and his friend started talking a bit while the tabby ended up taking a nap. Nonetheless Jiro kept an eye on the bar however so he wouldn't leave a costumer waiting.
