The park was quiet at this time of day, the timing such that it was late for afternoon, but not quite yet evening.
But whilst the park was quiet, it wasn't quite empty, as a small cat trotted between the trees with almost single-minded purpose.
As it happened Liryn had been trying to track down an aura that he had picked up on whilst he was out making his rounds, the aura that of a senshi...
He had lost track of it as he was making his way through the park however and was trying to see if he could pick up on it again.
It took a bit more padding, before the small tabby mauvian came to the conclusion that he had indeed managed to lose the aura, his purplish eyes thoughtful as Liryn tried to think on his next move.
Perhaps HQ, he decided at last - because he was close enough, shifting in preparation to pad back the way he had come-
And then he paused as he picked up on another aura...
Although this one was little more than a spark.kuropeco Hope this works as a start Kuro, but lmk if not and I will tweak :3

Wendell enjoyed exploring.
It was one of his favorite past times, after all, and it was probably this that got him into trouble more often than not, but it wasn't like he went out looking for trouble. It was important, after all, to familiarize one's self with one's surroundings, and that was exactly what Wendell was doing.
On his own, this time, without the assistance of Celsus, who was off with Corvus on a trip - somewhere, Wendell hadn't actually heard where they were going. He had been too busy being excited about the prospect of going out on his own and had all but whisked out of the loft like a shooting star as soon as he was able.
The park was full of different places to look for treasure, but it wasn't treasure that Wendell found right off the bat. It was another power signature, perhaps a little stronger than his own, and he latched onto it immediately, a sleek, brown shape in the grass as he darted closer and closer to wherever it was.
"Hellooooo!" he called out, peering curiously. "Hello?"

The spark of aura was there again, a flicker of warmth and whilst it was hard to pinpoint, it was enough to make Liryn feel certain that there was another mauvian out and about.
That there was a fellow order mauvian out and about.
Tracking down auras was not an exact science and it went even more so for a mauvian in cat-cat form...
But the flicker of aura had felt close enough for Liryn to decide to take a chance in trying to track it down - because he was always up to talking to a fellow order mauvian.
He was padding away from the cover of the trees when he heard a nearby voice and thought he saw something moving in the grass and decided to take a chance as he cheerfully called out "Hi."

Wendell wasn't familiar enough with the power signatures to know straight off what sort it was, only that it matched his own, which meant that it was a good friend and not a bad friend, even though to Wendell, everyone was friends.
He slithered through the grass, sniffing and sneaking, until he heard a smaller voice call out a greeting. Wendell's head popped up, the bandanna across his eye swinging, coins chinking gently against his face, and then he saw them - something small and purpleish and very fluffy just up ahead.
"Hello!"
Wendell's greeting was very enthusiastic as he bounded towards them, hopping across the grass until he could skid to a stop in front, peering at the cat (Kitten? It was very small....) with wide eye.
"What's your name?" Wendell asked curiously.

Liryn could hear the sound of gentle clinking as the shape shifted to move in his direction proper, as it cut across the grass...
And then the shape resolved itself into feline lines as it continued to bound its way towards him which further resolved itself into a sleek brown mauvian, with a coin fringed bandanna tied jauntily over one eye.
He waved a paw cheerfully as the other mauvian skidded to a stop in front of him, a familiarity about the other that he couldn't quite place-
Although perhaps it was the legs - because the long legs made him think of Mel.
"I'm Liryn" he said in answer to the other's question, his voice as cheerful as the earlier paw wave. "You.."
His voice trailed off for a moment as recognition suddenly hit as he added cheerfully "You were one of the mauvians at Celsus?"
He made it a question, because whilst he thought that he remembered seeing the other there, it wasn't something that Liryn was a hundred percent on.

"Liryn is an excellent name," said Wendell seriously, because it was. "It's so Liryn. And it rolls off the tongue nicely too. I think it's super great, because you must be super great, because you're a cat, and I'm a cat, and cats are super great."
It was difficult to stop Wendell, once he got going with things. At the question, however, he gave a wide bob of his head, a frantic nodding gesture as the coins jingled and jangled merrily over his eye.
"Yes!" said Wendell brightly, clearly pleased by this recognition. "I was there that day! I live with Celsus, he's not my senshi, I mean, obviously, but I do stay with him! He's super great too, and he's got some super great friends as well, I've met some."
He peered at Liryn, Wendell's eye wide with curiosity.
"Do you have a senshi?"
