((This rp is backdated to a few days before Halloween 2016)) Whilst Oort knew that space travel to his home world was a thing and had done so ever since the event with the fluff puff things, he had never tried it out.
Oh it wasn't that he hadn't done any space travel - because he had - there had been that thing with the huge bear thing and more recently there had been the big garden place with the trees and the flowers and the clones...
But Oort hadn't yet tried venturing to his own home world.
In part, it was because there hadn't been time - no scratch that - it hadn't been the right time, but he was hoping to change all of that today.
He done a bit of research and had managed to find out that Oort was apparently an asteroid of some sort, but research wasn't really the same as doing - which is why he was powered up and waiting for Euporie by the tree at the park where they regularly met up...
And whilst he hadn't specifically mentioned going to his asteroid, Oort was hoping that she would be up for coming along with him.
He fiddled with the strap of his rucksack whilst he waited. He probably should have mentioned the new outfit change too - since it had changed after Tomlin had helped him to get stronger.
But he had come prepared - with cookies filched from the cookie jar in the kitchen and a couple of cans of soda.xLokisRose Hope this works as a start Loki, lmk if not and I will edit :3

Chibi Euporie was getting adept at sneaking out of her bedroom after her parents had checked on her. In no time at all, she was on her way to the Secret Meeting Tree. It was so much faster to run to the park when she was Euporie, she was sure that she was totally nearly flying. But she wasn’t ready to try to jump quite that high yet, she didn’t want to fall and break something and have to *explain*. Everyone knew you couldn’t explain when you were a superhero. You had to make something up so no-one would suspect. Oort was teaching her to be a good superhero. She wondered what he’d called her out for tonight – was there a monster they needed to fight, or were they going to do more training? She really didn’t mind, it was all important superhero business! She didn’t sense any monsters nearby, which was good – monsters should be afraid of her and Oort, and stay away! But she did sense a good superhero aura that was different from the one she’d come to associate with her friend. Maybe he had one of his other friends with him? But it didn’t feel like two people either. The tree came into view, and there was Oort, all by himself. He just felt… more super. He looked different, too, Euporie realised as she called out a greeting and bounced over to him. Not like heaps different, but lots of little differents all together. “Your clothes changed! Your keys are all fancier!” she said with admiration. litian Sorry for the long delay on this one...

Oort's lips quirked up in one of his small smiles at the sound of the other chibi's voice, although he didn't say anything - not immediately - opting instead to raise a hand in greeting as he waited for her to get closer.
It didn't take long for her to reach and join him under the tree that doubled as their meeting place, his friend and senshi partner moving at a pace that was more bounce than walk as she headed in his direction.
"Hey Euporie, thanks for coming" he said as she crossed the last of the distance between them, nodding his head as she commented on his changed outfit "Yes, one of the star cat's helped me to become like this after we got pulled to this place with lots of trees and these weird blob clones" adding "Not Liryn" because he wasn't sure if he'd mentioned Tomlin to her "His name's Tomlin and he's really cool - in fact he's the best star cat."
But whilst Tomlin was cool and whilst he did want to share his new upgrade with Euporie, neither of them was the reason why he'd asked her to come out and meet him in their spot.
Oort ran a hand through his hair figuring it was best to just get to it "By the way, I'm going to visit my asteroid - to visit Oort - tonight for the first time and I was wondering if you'd like to come with me?"
And whilst he made it a question a part of Oort was really hoping that Euporie would say yes - even if it was something that he would never admit to out loud.LokisRose no worries Loki, I am slow as always - hope the vague mention of Tomlin is okay here, but if not lmk and I will change it :3

"Better than Liryn?" Euporie's tone radiated doubt, a sceptical frown twisting her face as she tried (and failed) to raise a questioning eyebrow. The little cat who'd awakened her was clearly Best Cat! But all Star Cats were good, so if Oort said so, this Tomlin could be second-best cat, and she would keep an eye out for him. But Oort looked a little worried, the way he ruffled his hair, and it didn't seem like a cat-off was what he was thinking about. "Your asteroid," she repeated, glancing up at the dark sky above them, then back to her Superhero Partner. "Like, in space?" He could do that? Could they really be astronauts together as well as superheroes? Oort was The Best! All doubts and hesitation evaporated, and her words came out in an excited rush. "Ohmygosh yes? Yes please!" litian Just trying to slowly get back into tagging again. Hope this is okay, and that you'd still like to finish it after all this time.

Oort nodded "Liryn's cool," because the small starcat that had helped them both out was pretty cool. "But Tomlin's awesome."
He had been nervous waiting for Euporie's response about his offer for her to come see his asteroid, even if it wasn't something that Oort would admit to, but his lips tilted up in a smile at her enthusiastic agreement.
"Awesome and yes it's in space, even though I don't really know how it works, but the primer had some information on it so I think I've worked out how it works."
He pulled out his senshi phone and held out his other hand to her as he continued "But I think that we need to hold hands." LokisRose yes I am totally up for continuing this <3 I'm trying to make a comeback too

‘The Primer’ got another lightning-quick frown from Euporie. It was long and had a lot of big words. She’d classified it as ‘homework’, and ignored it as such. But if Oort had found Space stuff in it, maybe it was worth struggling through? Space was super-awesome. Or… she could just follow her friend and learn from his example! Much more fun, and less reading! He was waaay better at reading than she was, anyway.
And then he unexpectedly offered her his hand. It wasn’t often her older friend was willing to hold hands and stuff. This was gonna be the best night of heroing yet!
“Sure!” she chirped, wrapping her fingers around his before he changed his mind. She looked up at him eagerly. “’K, what next?”

Whilst it was true that Oort wasn't really much one for holding hands, something that carried over even more so when he was Briar, there times when there were exceptions - like today - because he really did want Euporie to come with him and whilst he wasn't quite sure where he'd gotten the information about hand-holding, it did seem like it was important.
"It's linked to the phones" he said, because he remembered a senshi telling him about it - an orange-haired senshi who had glowed like the glowy senshi at the New Year's party where he and Euporie had first met as civilians.
He frowned slightly in thought as he tried to remember what the orange-haired senshi had told him and tried to join it up to the information that he had read in the primer–
But even as he did it, he made sure to keep holding on to Euporie's hand.
He found the function and selected it awkwardly, but at first nothing happened, Oort staring down at his phone for a moment.
Maybe.. Maybe if he tried to focus...
He thought of his asteroid, thought of taking Euporie to his asteroid, concentrated –
And this time round when Oort selected the function the park and the evening noises of the city slowly faded away.
He found himself blinking as he found himself in what appeared to be a corridor of sorts, the lighting far dimmer than that of the ones in the park.
Reddish eyes looked over at Euporie, Oort still holding on to her hand as he asked "Are you okay?" Because this was his first time doing this.

“Ohhh,” Euporie said softly, stepping closer to see the phone in Oort’s hand. That made sense. Her dad said phones were so smart now they could teach school, and anyway the Senshi phones were magic… But Oort was obviously concentrating, so she held her breath and tried not to be interrupt-y. Even so, excitement was a wriggly feeling inside her, and she had to concentrate to stay still. Would they have gravity on Oort’s asteroid, or would they bounce super-high? Could they breathe there? Oort wouldn’t take her there if they couldn’t, though! It seemed to take a long time, and Oort looked like he was in a maths test, but then he pushed a button and things changed. The familiar park was gone, and they were…in a corridor? A Space Corridor, she decided, because obviously Oort had succeeded! “I’m okay!” she said, squeezing his hand. “Are you?” After all, he’d done all the hard work getting them here! “Is this your asteroid?” she asked, voice softened with awe as she looked around. “Or a spaceship? Did your phone make a spaceship?”

"Yes" Oort nodded, unable to help the small smile as he added "I'm fine too" because whilst there had been a moment where a part of him had worried about whether he would be able to reach his asteroid, it looked like he'd really managed to do it–
Although, and here reddish eyes once again glanced about the corridor, he wasn't quite sure just where 'here' was.
"I think so" he admitted, when Euporie asked whether they were on his asteroid, because wherever 'here' was it definitely wasn't the park. "I don't know about the space ship though, although..." he gestured towards where the corridor seemed to wind its way left "We could try exploring and see if we can find something?"
He made it a question, adding "Do you want to try going left? Or should we go right?" Because the corridor appeared to go both ways.

“Good,” Euporie said seriously. It would be terrible to go to space and not feel well! Now they knew they had both come out of space-phone travel okay, she could be properly excited. Which was to say, she was bouncing again on the spot – testing the gravity of Oort’s world. Though Oort didn’t seem very sure about where they were. Lucky her super-hero partner had the best solution. “Yes yes, let’s explore! Can we?” Superheroes, astronauts, and now explorers too! This was sooo cool! The corridor wasn’t giving much away. Euporie looked up and down, searching for any clues about the right way to go. It was an awfully important decision, and she didn’t want to choose wrong for Oort. “Mmmm,” she hummed, glancing down at their still-joined hands, and then holding up her free left hand to point. “Maybe… Left?”

"Yes" Oort nodded with a small smile at Euporie's question, because exploring was the only way that they'd really find out anything more, although a part of him couldn't help but wish that he'd thought to bring more than the cookies and the soda - because some paper and pen for a map would have been handy "And ok, let's go left."
A flashlight would have been handy too - although at least his asteroid appeared to have light, dim light, but it seemed like it would be bright enough for them to walk without bumping into anything - well at least Oort was hoping that it was–
And whilst holding hands wasn't really his thing, he deliberately didn't say anything about the fact that they were still holding hands as he started walking because Euporie had been game enough to come out here with him - although he tried his best not to walk too fast and make his normally longer stride shorter.
It was hard to make out what the corridor was made up of as he walked, the walls appearing grey-ish in the dim light, but it at least seemed wide enough for the two of them because he hadn't bumped into either the ceiling or any edges - and when he held his free hand out experimentally then it still didn't brush the corridor edge.
Oort was hoping that they would at least find something interesting though, because he'd feel kind of bad of dragging Euporie with him if they didn't.LokisRose I'm sorry that this took me so long Loki
