Hobbies:Rock Climbing - Actual free/traditional rock climbing. He will not use a rope or harness to help himself out and likes to accomplish it using only what was given to him at birth, aka his body. Although it is mostly by himself, he also teaches rock climbing classes at the local rock climbing business in town.
Leathercrafting - Although he won't admit it, you'll see him at the local renaissance faire selling quality pieces of leather armor. He likes being able to see his work accomplish something right away. He mostly does this on weekends and works carefully on one piece at a time since he is so busy with school and other work. By the time the faire comes around, he usually has enough to sell, but he doesn't make it his job.
Camping/Hiking - All of the time. Often if he can get a break from school and other work he'll be going out and exploring the undeveloped areas around the city. Though he'll often do this with other people, as it can be quite dangerous to go and do it alone. However if he knows an area well enough, he will go out and camp on his own. But it does help with the costs if he can get more than one person to go with him if they need to pay for a spot.
Virtues:Adventurous -- He'll take the road less traveled, if someone suggests something new he should try it, he'll do it (as long as it's legal). He's always up for new experiences and loves when he can try new physically based hobbies out. Sure, he likes archery, but horseback riding? Just try him! Boxing? Sure! Tea making? Well, he may not be the best, but he'll try it! And often if he sees people who are unsure but look like they want to try, he'll encourage them, suggesting that they try it together.
Brave -- To try new things out, one has to be at least brave enough to do it right? He won't hesitate to help someone in need if he sees it and is willing to get into a fight if he has to. Although he may think about it before jumping into a situation (assessing the situation), he shows no hesitation in doing so.
Vigilant -- If a situation comes up where he needs to watch out for others, he makes sure to keep his eye on them. He also tries to stay alert to possible dangers that may occur when he is doing one of his hobbies or when he is fighting.
Flaws:Detached -- He tends to live in the moment so much that he really doesn't care about making long-term connections or relationships. This is not a psychiatric problem, he just doesn't care enough to really think about the long-term. You only live once right? Might as well try to experience it all. He believes that forming attachments just holds him back from doing what he wants.
Over-Confident -- LEEERROOOOOOY JEEEENKINSSSS! He's been in way too many accidents to count where he has over-estimated his ability to do something. Including being able to make that gap or thinking that he won't hurt himself with that jump. He's even had to learn some first-aid for himself with how many times he's managed to hurt himself.
Unfocused -- Do all of the things! It's hard for Erich to be able to concentrate on any one thing at a time and is easily distracted. Not "ooh a butterfly!" distracted, but if he's running, and he sees someone going skateboarding instead, he'll probably forget all about what he was doing and try to jump into the skateboarding instead. Either literally or figuratively.
