::The Mountaintop Resort::A large, mountaintop resort a fair drive away from the rural locale of Inaba or the big city of Iwatodai, it often hosts droves of guests in the winter, but for two days and one night it has been secured by the connections of Amagai Danzo for the use of the Investigation Team alone! With fully furnished rooms divided between the East Wing [Boys] and West Wing [Girls], a large, beautiful common area with roaring fireplace, several couches, and rugs for a large number of guests to relax, and a Divided Hot Spring with sides for both genders, it has everything one could be looking for when getting away from civilization for a while.
But of course, the main attraction of the resort is the mountain itself...snow-capped and beautiful with the crisp air one can only find at altitude...the are courses for skiers and snowboarders of all varieties: Beginner, Advanced, and Pro! With a fully stocked pantry, kitchen, and a dutiful resort host keeping an eye on the party for his important client (Danzo), everything required for an entertaining getaway can be found at the Mountaintop Resort!
Enjoy your stay!

[12/13 - Morning] YunoThe bus had barely arrived at the resort - with friends and not-so-friends onboard - when Yuno coughed slightly and held up a number of sealed bags. "Everyone should be able to have fun. But just in case, Yuno made bags of emergency food in case anybody gets lost. Please take one and keep it with you at all times. ...Yuno takes no responsibility if you don't." Given her personality, it was often hard for her to... accept... other people. That said, those on the Investigation Team helped keep her and Rednal alive in some very real ways, and as the months had gone by, she'd been slowly accepting them in her own way. Her own group had ended up being slightly bigger than expected - she and Rednal had always planned to come, of course, but Rednal had brought Aselia along as well... and her companion? Well, she hadn't been able to think of anyone else to bring, so she'd ended up hauling Miki along in order to keep an eye on the new girl. She wasn't huge on skiing, but she was going to do it as long as Rednal did - and after that, she'd probably go enjoy the hot springs for awhile.

"Misha will never say no to free food!" Misha's cheery voice chimed up as she hopped off the bus, closely followed by her brother and another small girl. "Haaaaaa~! It's really snow!" The hooded girl chirped excitedly, she had never seen snow before, and was understandably excited. "Be careful, Rita, the ground might be slippery." Leon though, was still getting used to the fact that this little girl was his daughter. From the future, no less. And her mother, well. "Renko, make sure you don't leave anything behind, okay?"

Renko HikawaThe girl who'd come with Leon just stretched widely, then thumped her chest. "Of course not!" she said confidently. Foosh. "I'm not that absentminded!" ...She was, however, still wearing her gas mask (ignoring all weird looks and questions about it), and carefully moved her head back and forth to check the seats and make sure she really did have everything. A few moments later, she was out with the rest of the group - taking some food from Yuno as she exited - and laughed cheerfully as she stepped out into the snow. The good news? Her mask meant the glare wasn't too bad and she could easily look around. The bad news? Her field of vision wasn't so great, and that could be a problem if she actually tried skiing. (Honestly, it was more likely she'd simply enjoy the lodge, or perhaps call out tips to the rambunctious Rita.)

Nix Gallen "Look at all the snow, Terra! I've never seen so much before~!" Nix chimed happily as she stood outside the lodge with Mamoru. There was a little snow in Inaba but this was vastly different! It was exciting really, to be in such a new place like this with all her friends. The girl was happy that Mamoru decided to come along since it was the perfect chance for the others to meet him too. There was no reason to keep him separated from them, plus there was always the chance he'd get dragged into their mess.. Though she really hoped he wouldn't be.
"Good thing we got warmer coats huh? Do you want to head inside or look around a bit? I'm sure everyone is wanting to stretch their legs after the bus ride.." Maybe after some exploring she'd come back to make food for everyone. It would be the least she could do in return for the trip. Though until then, Nix wanted to make sure Mamoru was fine at the moment. If he was nervous or shy maybe there could be something she could do. "Um.. What do you think of the others so far?"

Amagai Genji, the Investigation Team's Gentle Fist "...You see the surface, but my eyes see more..."There was something of a controlled chaos going on right behind the ashen eyes of the Berry-Haired Heir as he stepped foot off the bus before anyone else, though not before explaining to everyone that he would check them all in at the front desk (and from there, they were free to split the room assignments among themselves...so long as the women stayed on their side and the men on the other, of course). His father had made the arrangements for them to stay here, after all, and so he had taken it upon himself to handle the paperwork in his father's stead, making sure that everything went as smoothly for the team as it possibly could during their all-too-short time here upon the mountain. He paused just a moment at the door of the Lodge, feeling the snow already lining the path in crunching beneath his feet and smelling the delightfully clean air filling his lungs as he breathed in deep the natural wonder of the snow-capped peak. This wasn't the first time he had been here, after all, but the last time he had been much younger and come with his family and nobody else his age to really enjoy it together with. He remembered how much he enjoyed it in spite of that, and his hopes for this mini-vacation were even higher than that. They were apart from the chaos of Inaba, free of the constraints and demands of their families, jobs, friends, and everything that might have drug them back into the daily muck that was sure to swamp them once more, and for the first time even adding in the uneasy peace that the Lord of All had allowed them to enjoy...it felt like they were truly released to enjoy their lives as the teenagers that most of them were. It was...nice. And even as the chaos swirled inside of his mind as to how he was going to manage to solve any potential issues that came up with so many people in tow that he had yet to even meet, he felt the chill sending goosebumps up his skin and his muscles easing a little at the thought that he was doing this not because anybody made him...but because he wanted to. A rare luxury in the time before he had met the team and become a part of their lives.
Inside the lodge was just as he remembered as well, wide and spacious in the commons; he could already feel the warmth of the fireplace from the far side of the room and spotted the couch that he had been ogling the day before with Minori on the computer, marking it mentally as a space that would be theirs alone when they came inside later. Behind the desk was a single woman, aged in her early 50s, a friend of his father's and the owner of the Lodge with whom they had dealt when they made their reservations. She waved him over with a kindly smile and he came to the front desk quickly, greeting her with the expected courtesy of the heir to his family name. Amagai might have been a bit more on the edge these days, but in the right circles their name still held some weight. Without it, after all, getting this whole lodge for a day for a bunch of students their age would have been impossible. These were some of the moments that made him truly grateful for what he had, regardless of the difficulties that he had endured and would yet face in the years to come. And of course, knowing that he wasn't alone in those difficulties and days to come helped as well. He glanced over his shoulder at his companions and his companion, smiling faintly as he lifted the pen on the front desk and raised it to the paper, signing his name on the bill and sealing the pact that he would likely be paying for with his father for a while. Worth it. He thought, hoping that he wouldn't change his mind about that later. To cement his certainty of that, he turned and caught the eye of Minori behind him, smiling gently as he looked back towards the door and to the couch again, mentally resisting the temptation to curl up right now by the fire on that lovely little sofa and say forget that whole skiing thing. It would have been nice enough to do just that, but...well, there was a whole mountain to conquer first, right?
"I just remembered," he spoke after a beat, his smile growing wider...reflecting for one of the few times in as long as she had known him the full, handsome view of his truest expression of unrestrained happiness, "I do not recall asking if you knew how to ski before? I can teach you if you like, Minori-senpai..."

[12/13 - Morning] Rednal Ak'ThiasAs Genji headed over to get everyone checked in properly - something Rednal was rather grateful for, given the amount of paperwork involved - the boy turned and offered to escort Aselia and Miki over to the lodge... although he did stop and pick up his food from Yuno along the way. "Thanks, Ga-chan." he said with a smile, enjoying the tinge of red that crept into her cheeks. There had been a time when the prospect of a trip like this one would have filled him with... existential dread, perhaps, and a complete inability to actually enjoy himself because of his deep-rooted fear that everything was going to inevitably go wrong. (Hey, now, it wasn't just paranoia - not when you thought about all the many things the Investigation Team had fought and overcome.) That said... all of that was in the past now, and after another small freakout when he'd been trying to figure out if the peaceful times were actually going to be peaceful, he'd managed to settle down. And now? Well, now he was determined to go ahead and enjoy himself. If something did happen, he had his friends - and firmly believed that they could overcome whatever might come their way. He wasn't going to let the existence of enemies stop him from ever being happy - Rednal was determined to be better than that. Aselia Bluespirit
Aselia was coming along with him, although like usual, she didn't really say what was on her mind. "Nn! <3" ...Her tone was pretty clear as she took a bag of rations from Yuno, though, and she gave her friend a big hug as she followed Rednal off the bus and waited for the others to join them. It had been quite some time since she'd been up to the mountains, and she smiled at the memories of her youth and some of the wild things she'd done. Alas, she couldn't be quite as free in this as she wanted - it was hard to explain the sheer freedom of flying and skiing together - but that was all right. They were here together with friends and they were going to have fun - in the end, that was all that really mattered.

Faustus Necromonium Faust stretched out a bit as they got off the bus, everyone else already starting to spread out to their own, Nix bringing along a new friend....Leon, Misha, and some girl in a gas mask pacing around.. And, from yesterday's shopping..... "Thank you very much, Yuno." he called as he took the bag from the girl, smiling warmly. "I'm gonna be hitting the slopes a lot today....So, I'll make sure to keep this at the ready." He glanced back at the bus at this....Someone else coming off the bus with their things..... "Gah...s**t...Gimme a sec..! I got this, I swear!" A voice some of them would recognize, more than others.... "You sure you don't want some help, Senpai? "Nah..Nah..I got this..! Amora, Give me a hand!" ..... Faust gave a small sigh, and shook his head. 'I'll Never understand them.'

Kusuri KeirakuThe purple haired junior sighed as she watched her hopeless excuse for a guest struggled with the bags, calling upon Amora for help... "You said you'd carry my bags if you could come along." she said in a flat tone...As he turned."No, I got it! I swear!" he called, starting to wobble from side to side lifting...As Kusuri sighed.'Idiot..' she thought to herself, moving over and hoisting a..rather large bag over her shoulder with one arm....Starting to pace off the bus. "I'm gonna go hit the hot springs up right away." she called to the others, with a slightly furrowed brow....Melting a bit into a small grin. "I'm..Not much a fan of the cold weather." She slowly started in after Genji and the others....Seeming a touch distant, but mostly due to her own naturally imposing nature.... She still needed to work on that....
Her hair was still short, in spite of it trying to grow back over the past few months....The girl keeping it so as both a reminder of letting her guard down...And, her own manner of getting over her self-consciousness over her scar. She used to be so worried.... But now? She was more annoyed when people wanted to stare. Such is life....

Shu and Amora "Well, I've lost all confidence as a man." the senior called with a small shrug....Watching as Kusuri trotted off with her much-too-large bag as if it were a paperweight.....Turning to Amora with a half-sigh. "It's okay, Michieru." Amora called, with a small smile. "I'm sure no one had confidence in you as a man before." "Agh...Right in the heart. Shu called with a mock expression of shock. "You're brutal, you know that? Could have at least pretended to have faith in me." "Nuh uh. Mom always said lying was bad." the pinkette mused, as she started off the bus to follow her father, glad she had bundled up extra the previous night. It had been a surprise that her dad invited her along for the trip.....And, she'd spent most of the night preparing for it with the help of Ven's father....But, she was all too glad to be here. Especially with her mother along too.... "I wanna try skiing!" she called to Faust, moving over to gently tug on his arm. "Could you teach me? Or, at least show me how it works?" Shu sighed wistfully, checking his pockets to make sure his tubes were in the right place, and he was prepared. True, it was a nice getaway...A good way to connect....But, he'd mostly came here to support Amora and the new arrival....In case things were a bit rough. "Next time though, ask how much they're packing before you volunteer to carry them on though, Shu." he said to himself, grabbing his own bags, and starting along with them.

Mei Hanako The blonde, blind girl hugged the arm of Kensu a bit closer as everyone's voices told her what she couldn't see.... That they had arrived, at their destination. A wintry retreat, out to the mountains..... She had been pleased to be invited to such a getaway, even if she didn't intend on taking part of the boarding and skiing herself, for obvious reasons. "Mmm..It's perfect weather for snuggling." she mused to Kensu as they started to get off of the bus, the girl pulling out a cane to lightly press into the snow...Hearing that lovely crunching sound underneath their feet.... She had bundled up rather nicely herself, wearing a sweater of some kind, and a scarf wrapped around her neck.....Though, nothing felt warmer than being beside the one that you cared about the most... "What do you wanna do, Kensu?" she mused to the boy in a low tone, hearing the various commotions around them....People wanting to ski, to board, to talk....And to visit the hot springs... ... She'd definitely have to check that out later.

.¸¸.•.¸¸..¸¸.•.¸¸..¸¸.•.¸¸..¸¸.•.¸¸..¸¸.•.¸¸..¸¸.•.¸¸..¸¸.•.¸¸. Today was finally the day they went to the ski resort! Yuuki would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous about going though: besides not knowing how to ski, she also wasn't quite used to a few people in the team... But that's why she wanted to go, to help get closer to them if just enough so she could talk to them normally. Or, well, write to them normally...
However, there was one person she wasn't sure if she'd ever get used to, and her name was Yuno... She didn't know very much about her, but she knew enough to have the impression that she was a very scary person that could probably star in a horror movie and make millions. She also had the sense that the other didn't like her very much... They hadn't talked all that much though, so maybe it was just her imagination?
Regardless the girl hesitated when she offered the bags. But it would have been rude to decline, right...? Thank you. She would write and show Yuno before gently taking a bag herself.

[12/13 - Morning] Yuno"You're welcome." Yuno answered, reading what Yuuki had written. She had conflicting feelings about the other girl, but ultimately, Keira had settled on the conclusion that teammates were teammates - that was, typically friends and people they should at least attempt to get along with. That may have been why none of the bags had interesting traps in them - they really were just survival packs that might make the difference if someone needed some extra food. Besides, a weaker team was a bad thing, and had more chance of the people she really cared about getting hurt. To put it bluntly, she had selfish reasons for wanting their group to be as strong as possible, and that was what had ultimately helped her decide on her actions. Besides, while she probably wasn't going to admit it to anyone, Yuno actually rather liked the other girl. She didn't talk much, and that made her easier to be around than Zeo certain other people who weren't going to be named.

"Look look! I made a snowball!" Rita beamed happily, holding what was not a snowball, but more of a snow boulder "Papa! Catch!" She called, throwing the boulder toward Leon, "Nonononono- MRHMF!" His panic was cut off by by being hit in the head, and subsequently knocked off his feet by the mass of snow that had be thrown his way. "*Snrkkk* Bahahahahahaha!!" Misha burst out laughing, seeing her brother take the fall in such spectacular fashion.

Minori Koroko
"Wow." The soft word left her lips in an amazed whisper, the white caps and the green pines, and the icy air brushing her skin and the lodge in front of them, waiting...; all new and magnificent to the blond girl. Minori stepped out of the bus, and she was practically bouncing. Excitement had settled on the tips of her fingers since the bus had turned a corner and the place that would be their home away from home for the weekend rose from behind a small snow-covered hill. Everyone was talking now, everyone excitedly making plans for the day, and it just made the blond girl to smile widely, turning bright eyes to her companion that made all of this possible. He was arranging everything for their stay, and Min took the few moments to explore the common area, locating the couch closest to the fireplace...the one couch they had been talking about the night before. She smiled to herself, and turned to look at Genji with a conspiratorial glance, before giggling. That would come later.
The blond girl turned to look at the others, all of them already chatting up and others going to their rooms, before turning back to Genji, shaking her head slightly, a light sheepish blush creeping to her cheeks. "I...have no clue on how to ski, if I am honest. But, I'd love if you could teach me, I am curious about it. Want to try it." She linked her arm around his, turning beaming eyes his way. "So...should we get started?"
