"Slow down, douchebag, you're being too rough!" A soft, but not entirely angry mutter was made from a Senshi who was currently pinned up with his back against a wall by a Knight not much older than himself. Together, they had been patrolling around for the evening, having met only an hour or so ago, Conversations were pleasant, though the Senshi, Chara, could already tell he had no interest in hanging out after their time together was through. That was what he thought would be the case until the man had him like this. Throughout the night Chara give off hints of what he wanted from Knight, subtle touches and glances, trying to be his most pleasant self, if that even was a thing, The Knight, however, was as dense as a doornail, so the moment they touched down in an alleyway for a break, the senshi of chocolate straight up told him what he wanted, and the Knight happily obliged.
So here they were now, in a moment of stress relief for the both of them. For the Knight, there were pent up frustrations that Chara was far too willing to help ease on out. And for Chara, well, he got the attention he seemed to so desperately crave these days. Even if it was with strangers, and even if it was in some dirty alley some ways away from home, atleast it was better than being alone.
"H-hey, do you sense that...?" Chara tried to think past the lips on his neck and the hands creeping about his waist, but they were too distracting. Even if there was something out there, it could wait. It felt far enough away that there was surely some other Senshi that could take care of it right now anyway.
"I don't sense anything. Come on, you said you would, right? So let's get to it." The Knight urged on, looming over the much shorter male with a hungry gaze. There was no escape for Chara now, not that he even wanted to. And a deal was a deal, so... He might as well, right? That aura could be dealt with later, he was sure.

Unfortunately, that anything the leering knight didn't sense knew how to take advantage of situations better than any needy, greedy teenage boy could ever hope to. At least this would be his very last bad decision. There was scarcely a breath between the end of his pushy sentence and the crackling pop of energy somewhere close behind his looming shoulders. Almost simultaneously, two pale hands reacted in a quick strike as the one and only Ascendant General shot her pale, broken fingers deep into the subspace nestled between the Knight's shoulder blades. The second held his shoulder tight as she curled those wicked claws around his starseed and yanked, like she had a million times before. Her prize came free, thrumming with power where it twinkled in the palm of her hand, pulsing as surely as any heart. As his eyes bulged and he began to slump, Alkaid's face rose above his shoulder to lock onto the Senshi whose only saving grace was the meat shield separating them. "What do you think is out there, little lamb?" A resounding thud marked the total slump of the once Knight against the concrete next to her feet. As he hit the ground, his head lolled to the side, dragging a head of bronze curls against the gritty filth of the alley floor. The cruel smile on the china doll's lips was almost a sneer as a heeled to nudge his cheek bone, rocking his skull so his empty eyes stared up at Chara instead. "Hm?"

The eye that had slowly closed at the feel of the man's lips against his neck flew wide open as a sickeningly strong aura suddenly came close to him. From where he was, and how he was pinned, there was nothing at all that Chara could do as whatever the creature was stole the starseed of the man above him. The man who was once alive not even a few seconds ago. The man who's hands were still on his waist and shoulder. They now fell limp to the knight's side.
The man could not even whisper a cry of help before the lights in his eyes faded and all that was left was an empty shell that kept the little Super senshi away from the cracked person who held the starseed in her hand. Then... Her eyes met Chara's, and he realized just how crazed she looked. Her skin was like that of a doll that had been handled far too roughly by a child, cracked and broken in places, and her smile... The young senshi could feel his heart stop the moment she spoke, and a visible flinch came from him when his partner's body hit the ground, lifeless. How cruel it was cor Chara to see his body, one that had been so warm and eager against his own moments before now looking up at him with the empty eyes of nothing.
Instead of answering her question and giving into the fear and terror that was quickly creeping up his spin, he scowled, reaching out as fast as he could to try to retrieve the starseed in the woman's grasp. He knew he had to be gentle, but it slipped his mind, only thinking about time. He needed to get that seed back into the man's chest. He couldn't let him die!

At the first sign of Chara’s posture shifting, Alkaid let her playful ease fade and replaced it with purpose in an instant. Just as his fingers were within centimeters of grasping the crystal, it, along with the Ascendant General, disappeared as surely as she had first arrived. There was a lingering crackle of chaos energy in the air where she had been but her laugh, as it erupted in a deep, dark cackle, echoed through the alley from somewhere overhead now. He would have to be much faster if he aimed to beat a creature completely honed to their purpose. “This doesn’t belong to you,” she taunted, leaning over the edge of the rooftop so that she could leer down at him instead. The cracked, white flesh of her hand unraveled from the starseed so that he could get a glimpse of the pulsing light where it was held between her thumb and forefinger, visible but out of reach. She could feel the energy as it thrummed against the pads of her fingers, singing to every atom of her being. The familiar need to consume was at war with her sudden interest in the fiesty little super senshi. If she ate it now, as she so badly wanted to do, he might give up and run for safety. But what if he thought he could win it back? Did that fool matter so much? The ascendant stepped back from the ledge so that the night cast shadows back across her pale skin, letting her sink comfortably into the hazy unknown that was Destiny City rooftops. He could and, she thought, would follow him if she didn’t use all her cards right away. “If you can take it, you can have it.” She spoke, out of view. Of course, that meant he was going to have to put himself in the awkward position of getting up to the rooftop unharmed.

hated the Negaverse and their godforsaken teleportation bullshit. It felt like such a copout in so many situations, and here he was, as a White Mooner with no such ability to catch up. It wasn't fair!
Chara was indeed stubborn, however, almost sickeningly stupidly so at times, and one of those times would be now. there was a fear in the pit of his stomach, the knowledge that he should know the wouldn't be able to face this woman alone properly. She as strong and her aura was like a stone tied to his legs, sinking him deeper and deeper into that terrifying darkness that surrounded her. Yet he couldn't ignore the poor soul that twinkled lightly in her fingers, nor could he ignore the taunts she threw his way.
"It doesn't ******** belong to you either!" He hissed through gritted teeth, his eye darting around the darkness to find his best way up to her. There was a fire escape... And a few window ledges... And in just a quick moment, he found himself jig saw leaping across the ledges in the alley and making a desperate reach for the top. His fingertips only just barely managed to find a solid place to hold onto, just enough that he could get both hands steady and flip himself over the side before scrambling to his feet.
"You better believe your ******** a** I'll get it back!" And again, he tried to come at her, wanting to feel that starseed back in his hand, and the man waking up in confusion down in the ally in his arms. He just had to save him! This was Chara's fault anyway, the young senshi decided. After all, it was his teasing and nudging that suggested they come out here in the first place.

So he wanted to play. There was a peculiar look of delight plastered across the ascendant's face as she withdrew to the opposite side of the building to wait for him, listening keenly to his scuffle up the side and doing her best to judge how much ground (or, rather, brick) he was making. She did appreciate ferocity like nothing else and fighting valiantly for a brother, well, that was something to admire, too. Those enemies she had favored in the past had all been wild and ferocious, battling to the death with Alkaid willingly if it meant destroying her or something she stood for. It had been a long time since she'd encountered Castor and longer still since Nemesis had last tried to kill her. While he wasn't either of those deadly creatures, not yet, he still had enough wrath to challenge her - she could see it in his eyes as they appeared above the window's ledge. That was enough to earn her interest but his next choice would be what decided how long that interest earned him. With the starseed tucked out of sight, both of her arms snapped up so that she could hold her palms open wide above her head. The words had barely died on his lips when Alkaid's own rang out in response, " Ascendant's Barrage". The words parted her lips and coaxed to life a pinpoint of light that rapidly began to swirl outward from its center. Faster than one could focus, it had burst to life at once and swelled to a great, glowing orb. All it took was the focus of her smoldering eyes upon his barreling form and the missiles peeled away from their center, crashing down upon him relentlessly and without err. Kapoodles Ascendant's Barrage As with her first two attacks, Alkaid summons a ball of light. This ball of light is much larger than her basic attack and hovers above her outstretched palms instead of supporting itself in midair. At will, Alkaid can fire guided light 'missiles' from the glowing ball at any target within her sight.
The missiles pack a power equivalent to a General's punch with up to two dozen missiles per attack. As long as Alkaid keeps her undivided attention upon her target, the missiles can't miss. However, if she breaks eye contact or the target hides behind something (ie: she can no longer see them) her attack is useless. Evasive and/or defensive Senshi attacks may also aid in avoiding the missiles.

For an instant, when he came upon her he truly, truly thought he could get hit on her. She was so close and he could almost throw a power packed punch at her, yet something hit him hard. And again. And again.
Over and over, knocking him back time and time again until one solid punch knocked him square off his feet and land hard back on the rooftop. More came at him, pushing him further into the ground. He could feel vessels pop and blood pooling up under his skin where large bruises surely were forming. It was all he could do to grasp his head and protect that, swearing that he'd not lose his other eye.
When they finally stopped, he was curled up in a ball, gasping and hurting all over. More than one missile hit his gut and chest and he struggled to gain his breath again. <******** a*****e..." He gasped, every inch of his body aching and battered, but ******** if he'd stay down. ******** if he'd stay down! Muttering the name of his attack, he slowly started to stand, hunched over and stumbling around as he felt the throbbing ache where one of the missiles crashed into he knee. Even when he had fought Xenotime two years ago, it was nothing like this pain, which had overtaken most of his thoughts, except for the one that cried out that he couldn't give up just yet. That crazy a** corrupt still had a soul that wasn't hers.
"Give... That ********... Starseed back! Chara Chocolate Lava Drops!" The bubbling chocolates rose to his palms and he threw them with as much force as he could at the woman before him. Which wasn't as much as he wished, given even the muscles on his arms were battered and bruised.
Felyn Super Sailor Scout Attack: Chara Chocolate Lava Drops
With the call of his attack Chara summons the same handfuls of chocolate as before but in larger quantity (20 or so), and now they melt upon impact. He still has 30 seconds to use them before they vanish and it can be used twice per battle.
Chara's chocolate now maintains it's heat longer and sticks to a person's skin. It's hot and burns and can cause irritation, dryness and up to 1st degree burns now if it makes skin contact. The chocolate lasts for 5 seconds on the surface they touch, then vanish.

Another enemy might have tried to dodge his magic but not the Ascendant General - in fact, she rarely tried to dodge anything that wasn't an outright physical blow to her being. She remained in range of her own attack, unmoved, as he lobbed the chocolate pellets at her. True, it latched onto her hardened flesh and sank deep into the rivulets that marred her limbs but there was not much else it seemed to do. Like the crystal tendrils Pollux had launched on her, she absorbed too much of the simple, pure magic. That and it was much, much harder to sear flesh that had already been blazed to a crisp. Her eyes rose quickly from the dark, gooey substance where it bubbled uselessly on her forearm and settled back on the broken and crippled figure of the Senshi. He couldn't handle another round of her attacks - she could see it in the way he could barely put his full weight on one leg - and that meant this was check mate. He had failed. "Those weren't my terms, little lamb." With a wicked smile pulling her lips back away from her teeth, a second round of missiles began to orbit the glowing orb above her palm. Though a small shift suggested the sticky chocolate might have successfully locked a couple of her limbs in place, she was lucky enough to have been frozen in attack position. The moment she'd breathed the summons for her magic it had already been too late. Would he figure that out? Well, maybe if he lived. The missiles pealed away from her and crashed into him again, driving him back from his goal. Kapoodles aauugh, sorry, I hope this works. my brain is bloop.

It didn't do anything...
It didn't do a ******** goddamn thing!
And it was that nothingness that seemed to put the fear properly into Chara. Never before had his attack been so useless against ANYONE. They always flailed and cried out, or at least cursed when the molten chocolate managed to touch their skin, leaving burns and whelps in their wake. Not this woman, no. She didn't even flinch.
Maybe, for an instant, fear flashed before his eyes, before it melted right back into rage. He was ready to fight, ready to come back in with another punch to try to continue this fight, but her words froze him for just long enough that again, the missiles came in and he was hit, having only enough time to guard his remaining eye with his fore arms.
Over and over and over they hit him, feeling the punches push and pound him back and forth, but this time despite the pain, the blood dropping out of his mouth, and the throbbing he refused to fall over entirely. But they came so hard and so fast that he was forced to his knees until they stopped, gasping for breath as pain screamed through every last nerve. And once he was sure that there was no more of the missiles coming his way, he lowered his arms to reveal a bloodied gaze that dripped nothing less than the purest of hatred for the crazed doll before him.
"Give... It... Back... You crazy... asshat..." He hissed, blood starting to coat the front of his teeth, so he took a moment to spit out what he could, letting it land towards Alkaid. As scared as he was, he had decided right now, if he died, he died, but like hell he was going to die without fighting. "********... You're terms... Give it back.. Right... ******** NOW!"

The hissed slurs made her laugh and the sound spilled from her cracked lips like an echo, laced with a wickedness only earned by someone taking pleasure in another’s misfortune. The gleam in her eyes was not wholly human and even Alkaid, who usually felt herself slipping into abnormal behavior, seemed completely unaware of just how predatory she seemed in the moment. In that second, she was a creature that might’ve devoured him whole had she one ounce less of humanity left to her.
It was a lucky thing, then, that she felt the weariness at the back of her thoughts. It made her laugh die to a knowing smile and she stepped back, away. That was the sign that she was still here - that conscious choice not to pursue - and she used that knowledge to draw herself back to her center, focusing on her game instead of what her instincts wanted so dearly.
“I win. Maybe next time, hm?”
Next time would be a little more dangerous for her but, she thought, no less fruitful for him.
The Ascendant parted her wicked smile around the starseed in her fingertips and swallowed it, letting the energy of his dead comrade fuel her to a comfortable enough energy level to grab the mental tether she felt toward her planet. Light years and light years away. Her smile was back in place as she teleported, snapping out of view and leaving only a residue of chaos smudged across the night air before him.
He survived, this time.

Of course Alkaid didn't listen to him. Why would she? She was a crazed Corrupt who started laughing at Chara's feeble attempts to get back onto his feet. And surely she laughed at him because he still dared to try to demand anything. The laugh made Chara's blood run cold in his veins.
An instant later, she ate that starseed... And taunted him once more before vanishing right before his eyes.
And he could feel angry tears ebbing at his eyes as he screamed profanity after profanity after the space left behind at Alkaid's teleporting.
What was he going to do?! What was he going to ******** do?! It was his fault, that that man whose name he didn't even know was lying dead on the ground in the alley, his own needs and desires trampling out any sort of common sense he should have had. And maybe, had he been diligent and not so eager to quell that loneliness and pain in his chest left behind by some a*****e, the night would have lived.
Now he was alone with his thoughts, terrified to even move at this point, even if that aura was long gone by now. There wasn't a single aura left around him... So he did the only thing he could do. He placed a quick 911 call to report the body then fled.
Felyn And a fin for me! Thank you!
