 Chiara was lurking around lowblood clubs again, she passed it off as "looking for talent", but really, she felt empty. She would take some troll out for the night, pay for their dinner and rent a room as they kissed up to her high blood color, giving her the only food she really wanted; an ego boost. Her networks were becoming both tighter, and more out of control. She had hired more people, and that meant she was trusting them to do their jobs.
The blueblood sighed as she downed another shot, enjoying the warm liquid that made her feel just a bit disconnected from her thoughts. Then the club quieted down, and Chiara turned towards the stage. A troll walked up to the stage mic, announcing whoever was going to be preforming next. Chiara signaled the bartender for another drink as she put her drunk attention to the stage.

Akkira took the few moments she had backstage to tune her guitar. It wasn't too long after that, she was summoned to the stage. With an excited grin Akkira adjusted her red, heartshaped glasses and walked out to the microphone. For a brief moment all she was to the audience was a figure in the shadows, once illuminated by the spotlight, her full glory was shown. She may not have looked like much in her jeans, steel toed boots and black form fitting tank top, but she wasn't there for looks. She opened with a gentle rhythm that pretty soon ramped up as she launched into her song intro. With one powerful strum Akkira let fly her vocals into the song. The entire song lasted maybe 4 minutes, but she had other songs she sang with all her might and musical prowess, one of which was specifically for dancing to. She was just an opener, getting them all jazzed for the main performer that night. |

Chiara's interest was piqued. The openers were usually just some no name given a guitar and told to yell, and while this girl was a no name; Chiara would know if she had a name; she seemed a little wasted as an opener. The blueblood actually payed attention to the song the redblood was performing, rather than her usual of making some lowblood body-candy feel uncomfortable but unable to excape. Chiara watched the performance to the end, drinking some water to sober up. There was no way she was going to make a business deal while inebriated. Then she went backstage, scanning the rag-tag performance crew for the opening performer. With a grin one could cut with, Chiara approached the girl and her guitar. "Heeey," Chiara greeted, "Was a pretty good performance, you don't happen to do... private shows, do you?"
