 Life Hunter
BATTLE ARENA
The portal opens up into an observation room, and down the stairs, an odd chamber for something like hunter training. At the center of a piranha-filled pool stands a solid stone table and several chairs. The Life Arena was built underneath the demolitions and ballistics testing areas, and the chamber rumbles with the occasional explosions above. Pinpoint red lasers sweep across the room regularly, as if hidden snipers are searching for a nice target. In the center of the table sits a wooden tower, made up of smaller wooden blocks. Yes. That's right. The Life Hunters prefer to train via Jenga.
Note: Distraction techniques and Yo Momma jokes are considered viable weapons when playing competitively.
If you fail: you have knocked down the tower! A small dart hits the back of your neck. You come to several hours later, and hope Dr. H didn't do anything to your body while you were unconscious. When you look into the mirror...
If you win: you have reached 50 points! You get a sharpie marker to do with as you please. peen points go to those with the highest scores.
Mechanics
- by carefully removing pieces of the tower, you earn points and advance to the next round. As the rounds continue, the odds grow steadily against you. Rolling a 1 at any point means you have knocked down the tower. Please do enjoy your mystery dart. Anything after reaching 50 points is purely for peen.
- you may roll pieces individually (suggested for group play) or in batches of 5 (basically, a full round.)

Bonus Mechanics
Life Hunters train for precise hand eye coordination and exceptional judgement, thus they have a slightly lower chance of knocking down the tower.

Joy wasn't sure why Life had to use Jenga for their training. But that was probably why she wasn't in Life and was instead in a much more understandable division like Moon. Not that she thought one division was more important than another, because she didn't. She just thought that she was glad she was in Moon, that was all.
Still, her nervousness about doing something as precise and delicate a task as Jenga made her nervous and while she wasn't prone to pasma, she was certainly feeling clammy in the palms and shaky in the hands. Waking up hours later, Joy considered trying for a different course instead. But no, this was the only way to get access to runic bandages and she was determined to be a better moon than she was now. Which was why she picked herself back up and went back to the platform. The tower was reconstructed (which was usually the bit Joy disliked in the game but is probably going to become the part she liked) and she proceeded to pull out piece by piece until all five pieces were pulled and she could advance to the next round. She breathed a sigh of relief despite the fact she still had three rounds to go.Status Round: 1Pieces Taken: 5 Total Points: 5

The second round went by without a hitch, much to Joy's surprise. Especially when she took into consideration how the speakers would suddenly crackle into life as music or weird sounds filtered in. Anak ng tokwa, it seemed like the other lifers watching her were more interested in darting her than giving more people access to the runic bandages. It's like they wanted to maintain a monopoly on their gear. Joy was reminded of poor Roland getting ripped off for some document that was clearly overpriced. And now the third round came. Joy was feeling pretty confident in her skills, and it after successfully drawing out two tiles, her confidence was going to prove to be her undoing. Pride goeth before the fall or something like that. Maybe she shouldn't have looked over her shoulder and stuck her tongue out at the lifers watching. Because there was a sudden loud PARP sound that had Joy jumping and knocking over the tower.

She shook her head clear when she woke, though her muscles felt a bit stiff after it all. It was certainly not going to make the training any easier especially since she was going to have to start all over again. The tower was rebuilt and Joy got the weirdest sensation that she was being laughed at. She wasn't pikon but it was still confusing to the trainee, and it clearly was distracting to her because while she almost finished the round, she messed up on the last piece.Status Round: 1Pieces Taken: 4 Total Points: 4

Again Joy woke up, stiff and sore and more than ready to shred someone with her teeth. Worse still, someone decided to leave a print out of the rules in front of her with a section of the rules highlighted and underlined. So, apparently she could have already started at the point she lost last all this time. And yet she ended up restarting because Joy was way too impatient and simply assumed how to go through this course.
No wonder she felt like people were laughing at her. She accidentally made things much harder for herself to accomplish this training course. At least if she screwed up, she knew where and how to restart.Status Round: 1Pieces Taken: 5 Total Points: 5

Having passed the first round, Joy had a better idea of how to proceed for the second round. She managed to harness her focus for this task and piece after piece was pulled without risk to toppling the jenga tower. With the last piece pulled, Joy had to take a step back to work out the building jitters in her body.Status Round: 2Pieces Taken: 5 Total Points: 15 + 5 = 20

Joy had only gotten to this point in the previous attempt so she was more than a little nervous. But knowing that even if she failed here, she could and would restart at this point. And what felt like a miracle later, Joy managed to pull out all five pieces without further issue.Status Round: 3Pieces Taken: 5 Total Points: 20 + 20 = 40

This was it. The last round for Life Jenga. Joy didn't care for bragging rights (at least not for this sort of thing) all she wanted was to not knock over this stupid tower in order to prove she had deft enough hands to be allowed access to the runic bandages. She took a deep breathe to calm her nerves, reached out and sharply pulled her hand back when the speakers gave out a blaring fart noise. She couldn't help but laugh at it and it relaxed her enough that when she pulled out a piece, the tower stayed in place. It didn't even wobble and with that last piece, she got the needed fifty points to pass the training.Status Round: 4Pieces Taken: 1 Total Points: 10 + 40 = 50
