Ara went about her patrol when she felt the dark sensation of a youma nearby. She didn't sense another power powered signature nearby so she knew she had to deal with it or someone might get hurt.
So She mad her way towards the dark aura and from her rooftop perch she spied it, as well as a civilian. However this civilian did not seem as helpless as she would have imagined.
An older woman was fighting off the monster with a barbed wire baseball bat. Ara decided that even if the lady was fighting on her own it wouldn't hurt to give her an assist.
She jumped off the roof in a flying kick driving both of her feet into the head of the youma. The youma must have already been hurt as when her feet connected with the youma it turned into dust. She was covered in the stuff as she stood up and brushed herself off.
"Guess maybe you didn't really need my help after all. Are you ok miss?" She said looking the woman over.
"Oh I'm Sailor Ara, senshi of Illumination by the way." She said remembering her manners and introducing herself.Kapoodles Here's a start let me know if I need to change anything

Ann, much like her son Benji, had a very short temper. Generally she was a kind and caring woman, but was quick to fly off the handle at the littlest of things. And unlike powered folk, she couldn't always see or feel whatever was lurking in the dark, so when a small youma crept up on her from behind and nipped and tore her skirt, saying she was pissed wasn't quite enough.
With the fury of an angry mother, the bat came down over and over again towards the beast, sometimes digging it's spikes into the monster, sometimes missing, but Ann didn't really care.
"Do. You. KNOW. How. Much. This. COST?!" She spoke out with gritted teeth at each swing. The beast looked pretty worn down by that point, and she was more than ready to give it one last swing when a little girl kicked it to dust after having dived off the rooftop above.
For a moment, Ann stood there, confused, until she realized just what who it was and gently put her bat down.
"I'm fine! Are you alright? Oh dear, you really shouldn't be jumping off of rooftops, you'd get hurt!" Motherly instincts went on full blast as she straighten out her skirt and morning internally over the teeth marks. She should have known better, honest.
"Good evening, Sailor Ara. I'm Ann. Just... Ann. I take it you're another one of those powered folk among us? But you're so young! Surely your parents would be worried if they knew you were out all alone.." She knew she certainly did worry when her own little boy was all by himself... Not that she ever knew where here was.

"Oh I'm fine really. I can handle high jumps, here see." She proceeded to bend her knees as she launched herself a good three stories up into the air. She landed lightly on her feet, whenever she was powered she felt like her body was lighter. Not only could she jump crazy high into the air but she could also run like the wind it was a great feeling even if she knew their were plenty of other magical people even more physically gifted than her.
"Hi Ann nice to meet cha'! Yup I'm a chibi senshi, I'm surprised you know about us." She said with a bright smile though her smile faded a bit with her young comment. Her cheeks puffed out in a bit of a pout, why did people bring that up sure she was young but it wasn't like she was a baby she was very independent couldn't people see that.
Her next comment made her eye drop to her boots a bit ashamed, it was one thing coming from another kid or teenager but hearing it from an actual adult made her feel bad. "Well Papa is out of town on buissness and Mama thinks I'm still asleep." At least she hoped she did, she would get in so much trouble if her mom knew she snuck out. She didn't like being a bad girl but she couldn't just tell them the truth, could she.
"I can't just tell them the truth."

Ann watched as the little girl jumped up with ease and landed back on the ground just as smoothly, surprised but not unfamiliar with the antics of those powered. To that, she simply smiled, nodding.
"Oh dear me, you're right! That's quite impressive! I know that I cannot jump nearly so high." The older woman felt her heart weep for the girl as she obviously showed signs that this wasn't the first time someone had lectured her. Stubborn kids! It would be much better if she were at home! But... Since she was out here, atleast she was powered.. Who knew about her own son, Benji?
"Honey, I didn't mean to make you feel bad, I promise. I know I worry about my son who's out here at night doing who knows what, and he's 17. If your mother knew... I don't think she's be angry as much as scared, sweetie. It's dangerous out here..." She knew all too well just how dangerous the city was during the daytime with what happened to her little boy's eye... She didn't have to imagine the horrors the city experienced when the sun went down.
"Do you have some friends or something you can call to patrol with? Um... Teams or something, I believe their called? Certainly you'd be safer with them rather than out here all by yourself."

Ara brightened up a bit at the compliment, she loved getting those. "I can also run really fast and can lift heavy things." She proudly declared. "Its cause of my magic." She explained.
The idea that she would be scarring her mother was even worse in her opinion. "I don't want to scare mama but mr. Hania said I need to keep my powered form a secret from my family." She explained.
"I know its dangerous but thats why I want to help, if you have powers you should use them to help people right. I can't make people feel better when they get hurt like mama can but I can fight and use magic to stop the bad people in the city."
This was the second time someone had suggested she form a team, maybe it was something she should really look into, she wondered if there were more kids her age who were powered it might be fun to make a team with them. "Well there is mr. Hania but he's a kitty so I'm not sure he'd be great in a fight, and I've meet a few nice older senshi like Cassiopeia or Chara. I guess I could call one of them if I get into serious trouble." She said summoning her phone to her hand to show Ann.

"You're so very impressive, but still! There is safety in numbers for certain. I'm not sure who Mr. Hania is, however I think he may be right... With what's going on, you don't want to scare your mother and father..." Ann didn't want to say that she was too little to be out here all by herself, but she truly did feel that way. Then again, Ara certainly was much more prepared for danger than the older woman was. After all, she was just a civilian.
"You are very kind to want to help, but do know your limits. If you have friends to call, then I think that definitely soothes my worries about you. Just remember that you aren't alone, okay? There are people out there who are more than willing to help you through whatever you face. Call them and they will help,I'm sure!" She looked at the phone and smiled, knowing that she couldn't use it herself.
"Do you have many numbers? Oh, and do you know any knights? I can tell you a little about them, if you'd like."

"Mr. Hania is the kitty who gave me my magic. He's from an alien species called the Mauvians. I saved him from a couple of mean doggies." She said proudly. She liked the praise and it made her brighten up. She nodded in agreement about not wanting to scare her parents.
"Don't worry miss I'll keep that in mind." She promised sincerely if she ever got into major trouble she would call for help.
"Not that many, I've only been powered a couple of days so I haven't met that many people like me." She answered with a shake of her head.
"No I've only read a little bit about them there wasn't much in the primer." She was excited to learn more, more information was definitely a good thing.

"Oh... I see... " Ann knew very little when it came to cats, but that's alright. Now she knew that cats could be aliens.. Good to know.
"Sweetie, you've only been fighting for a few days? You really truly should find a teacher who could help you. It would make me feel so much better knowing that you had a kind person who's been fighting a long time to show you the ropes." To think this child was out here all alone in clueless! Oh, how it hurt her heart!
"Well, There are knights, and they are people who... Well, they have places on other planets that they get their magic from, I think... And they are kind. Both Knights and other senshi who are dressed in white are helpful and would not hurt you. However, those in black are to be feared! And those with black wings... They are the strongest, so you should certainly stay away from them. But those with white wings are some of the strongest allies you can have."

Kapoodles I think we can start wraping
She nodded her head. "Yeah that makes sense." It feel in line with what she had read in the primer. "Also the people in black feel really bad and cold, like going outside at night in the snow without a jacket on. They feel like that when I'm near one of them." She explained it as best she could.
"Don't worry I'll be careful around senshi with wings until I have wings myself." She promised with a confident smile, after all she was a senshi too so one day she would have wings and be as strong as the eternals.

"Ah, okay... Magic is the best we can do for now, but It would be nice to know you have more people to call, okay?"
Ann couldn't help but reach out and pet the little girl's hair, worrying for her wellbeing but knowing that this battle she and the others faced was a bit more than she could truly comprehend. for now, she'd be the best cheerleader she could.
"If I see you again, I'll be sure to have snacks and water. Just in case you've worked out a little too much. And don't stay out too late, okay? It's a school night, and you'll be tired in the morning."

She was bouncing at the mention of possible snacks. "You'd really do that?" She threw her arms around the woman's waist. "You're the best!"
As she let go of the woman she felt a ping at the back of her mind, there was another youma in the area. "I should probably be going now. Thank you miss Ann, and don't worry I won'stay out too late."

"Of course I would. Even the best fighters could use a snack break every now and then." Ann found herself surprised at the sudden hug but took it gently, raising a hand up to smooth the top of the girl's hair and returning the hug tight before she pulled away.
"Alrighty then, Ara, now you stay safe out there. I'll go home too, so you don't have to worry about civilian's like me roaming about and getting hurt. I hope to hear from you soon."
