Couple Q's is a game television show that is famous all over Below! Run by the charismatic Dani the Demon, the host of the show, one half of a couple are asked questions about their significant other, then the other half comes out and reveals the answer they already had written down! It's a hilarious show that has expressed how important it is for couples to communicate and be honest about each other, and while it's funny when couples don't agree, ultimately it strengthens the relationship of the couples that participate.
The grand prize this time is a sizable cash prize, a fully-paid vacation to a location of your couple's choice, and a secret prize that has not been revealed yet!
How this works:
You must have signed up in the Sign-Up thread beforehand to participate! Once the game begins, the Host of the game show will ask a question. One partner will be quoted, and they will send a PM to smolderingskies with their answer. Once PMs are being received, the second partner will be quoted answer the question aloud (in RP). If both partners answer the question the same way, they will receive a point (and a raffle ticket)! Once all questions have been answered, the raffle will be rolled for the prizes.

ROUND ONE PMs Incoming!
With a classy jingle, lights up on a stage on which Jet, Aqua'Glow, Kingston, Flax, and Ren are seated, each person behind a desk of their own. The stage is decorated with hearts and roses, truly showing the romantic environment of the show. Dani the Demon, a charismatic individual dressed in sequins, sashays onto the stage and dances to some music while the Live Studio Audience claps away.
"Well, folks, have we got a show for you tonight down here in Asphodel!" Dani says, waving their tail back and forth enthusiastically. "Tonight we've got a lovely smattering of couples of all ages and marital status across the board. And they're gonna answer some questions tonight in--" the crowd roared with them "Couple Q's!"
With a show-stopping laugh, Dani giggled and sat down on their plush velvet chair. "Now, here's a first question for your lovely folks. A real simple one, to really get us started.
What's your significant other's favorite color?"

ROUND ONE Time To Answer!
The television show played some pre-recorded material of the couples explaining their lives together and talking about how they met while the individuals backstage wrote their answers down, sending them to appear in front of Dani the Demon on magical index cards.
"It looks like all our answers are in!" Dani says, giving a winning grin to the individuals on stage. "So, we're all dying to know - what do you think your significant other's favorite color is?"
Those quoted below should write a roleplay post of their character answering the question!

Ah haaaaa.... Kingston was nervous about being on TV like this. What was he thinking, asking Mai to do this with him? His tail twitched nervously as the show started. He watched everyone else, but when he looked at Mai, he smiled. She looked so cute today, he couldn't help it.
"Gold and yellow." That was his answer. Mai always looked good in those colors. They'd never really talked about favorite colors though. Man, what was he even thinking bringing her onto this show?
Ren smiled when it was his turn. He always smiled when he thought of Kenny. "Purple." It was short it was simpler but he knew it was right. He had bought Kenny many purple things in however time together.
(Will be spicing those up when I get home)

Flax was nervous about this whole ordeal - he was more of the type to want his art on live television, rather than his face. But honestly, the whole thing had sounded so fun, and he would have really loved to go on that all-expenses-paid trip, that in the moment he'd willingly signed the release forms to be dolled up and have the lights shone on him. Attempting a winning smile of his own, Flax tried his best to think about what Laurel's color would be.
Well, she was mostly pink... but the color you were couldn't be your favorite color! Could it? After all, Flax was mostly grey but he didn't love grey. Maybe it was... "Purple?" Flax guessed, wincing a little. Hopefully it would be close enough. She had a couple of familiars that color.
She let out a sigh before giving the camera a soft smile, trying to not get nervous. This was her first time on television, and she honestly didn't want to disappoint. After all, she didn't want to make her family or school look bad.
What was Cimara's favorite color? Aqua'Glow was trying to think of what it was, thinking upon what she had always seen him get for himself for clothing. He seemed to like peach, but he wore green and yellow most of the time. Perhaps he didn't even wear his favorite color, although that would be weird. Who didn't wear their favorite color from time to time? Maybe if she thought hard enough, she would figure it out ", Hmm, yellow?"

Of course Jet knew the answer. He had prepared for this.
As soon as he found out that he and Muridae had made it onto the Couple Qs show, he had interrogated the younger girl and subjugated her to six hours of flashcard hell. From trivial facts such as lucky numbers, to physical characteristics like their height and weight, to life dreams and career goals, to childhood experiences, Jet had covered everything. Well, not everything. Pretty damn near close though.
While they did have the benefit of several years of friendship, Jet and Muridae could not be further from romantic partners. They formed their relationship back at the academy, with Muridae running whatever errands Jet needed done, and generally catering to his desires. Since Jet started attending Asterion, they had gone out of touch, but not for long. As soon as he learnt about the contest, he did not hesitate to call Muridae up and bully her into signing up with him.
He just hoped to the divines that his parents would never catch wind of this. He could not date a nobody.
“Yellow,” Jet responded, confident in his answer. He did not even need to study flash cards to know that much. “Particularly brighter shades. She often says my horns are my best feature.”
Jet cracked a grin. In comparison to his competition he seemed at ease on the set, and soaked up the camera.

ROUND ONE The Results Are In!
"Alright, let's bring out your other halves and see how accurate all of your answers are!" Dani the demon whirled as a panel in the wall that led to backstage opened up, bringing out the lovely people who'd been patiently waiting to hear if their significant other knew them well enough to guess their favorite color. Well, it seemed that most of them knew, but the others... they were about to find out!
"Jet, you said Muridae's favorite color would be yellow.... and you are CORRECT!" Flashing a wink at Jet, Dani continued on.
"Aqua'Glow, you said that Cimara's favorite color would be yellow... and you are INCORRECT." The crowd responded with a dejected "aww..." "You were close, though! Cimara says that his favorite color is orange."
"Kingston, you said you believe Mai's favorite color is gold or yellow! Unfortunately, you are INCORRECT as well. Mai's favorite color is actually blue!"
"Flax, you said that Laurel's favorite color must be purple. Well, you were close! Laurel said her favorite color is lilac. It's close enough, so we'll count it as CORRECT!"
"And finally, Ren, you told us you think that Kenith's favorite color - Kenny? Can I call you Kenny? - anyway, you thought it was purple, and you were CORRECT!"
As the audience applauded and cheered for the answers, Dani made a whirling motion with their finger. The index cards that had been floating in front of them incinerated on the air. "I'm going to send you sweethearts backstage, and we'll let your partners take the stage for a moment." Everyone who had just been onstage were ushered backstage by a stagehand, and those who remained were urged to sit at the same desks their significant other had been before.

After a brief commercial and water break, the show came back online, and the lights shone on the new faces onstage.
"What a lovely night for romance, hmm?" Dani says, fanning their face with their hand and grinning. "We're still on the easier questions here, but we're going to give you a more sentimental inquiry this time. How did you and your partner first meet each other? Let's see what your sweetheart backstage has to say!"

Once again, Dani the Demon had a slew of index cards floating around them, all with the sweetest stories scrawled on. The demon gave a dreamy sigh, then turned to their loyal participants. "So, tell us," Dani said, "how did you meet your sweetie?"

Cimara knew the answer to this question, he would feel bad if his wife forgot how they had met. "I met Aqua glow in passing through school functions, but our first real meeting was at a hunter's jubilee festival where I asked her for advice in how to take care of my first child when she was a stone." Cimara smiled warmly at the memory Aqua glow had been a life saver in his life.
Having to think long and hard about it, Kenny scratched his cheek. It was a while ago, now, and he'd never given a thought to it before. Was this a thing that...'couples' were supposed to remember...?
"I think we..." He started just before it came to him. Leaning back in his seat, one leg crossing over the other, he got a bit of a wistful look on his face. "Ah yes! I had made such a grand entrance to the coffee shoppe that nearly everyone there turned to look and stare at the absolute perfection that is myself...Except for Ren~ That corner was so dark and so dull that I simply had to go up to them and introduce myself!"

Mai was quite happy to answer this question. She'd always remember the day that she met Kingston. Although albeit not for pleasant reasons considering what had happened next. Still now that there was some distance from the event Mai could look back fondly on the good things that had happened that night.
"We met at the haunted hallows festival. I had wanted to drag my older brother out to socialize and Kingston had spotted him in the crowd as the two where already good friends. It was then Vanna introduced us." Mai replied with a smile.
Muridae kept up a steady and focused inspection of her shoes while she waited, or more like dreaded, her turn to answer the question. Jet had said that this question would be one asked, i mean the best part of a romance is how they meet! Well Muridae had two versions in her head. The one where she had seen him from up the other side of the field, as he laughed, sweated, and practiced with his team members for some sport or another. It wasn't exactly a meeting at that time, but Muridae had felt the pang in her heart as the arrow delivered its magic, and the nightmare crushed hard for the boy. But that wasn't a meeting, tho it was what she would tell their children when they... oh my gosh, was she really thinking about this right now?! While on stage? Having kids with Jet?!
Her mind quickly switched, sputtering out the real answer. "DEBATE CLUB!" The girl managed to screech. She still hadn't told Jet that she had fallowed him, that she had joined debate club just to get to meet him for real, in person, tho she had danced with him in her dreams time and time again... "We- uh, we met in Debate Club." Muridae said again, trying to answer the question in a normal voice.
