𝕀𝕫𝕫𝕪 𝔽𝕠𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕣----Power: Super Speed-----------------------------------------------Izzy was at the mall. Perhaps he would shop, but currently, he was in line at the food court. He was hungry and had the credit card provided by the Brotherhood to feed his gullet. One downside to having Super speed was having to get that energy from somewhere, in this case, he had to pack the calories. He supposed the credit card was essentially his pay as they never dropped the bill his way. He already knew what he wanted, and he always posed it as he was buying for a group otherwise people would stare and wonder why he wasn't a fat lard. He ordered his food once it was his time. The people here also assumed he was getting group meals. He didn't mind this as they would toss in a few extra egg rolls. He took the full bag containing his food that was contained in Styrofoam containers and walked toward the spot he usually ate. This mall had a section where people could sit and rest their feet from spending more than they likely had. At most for this seating area, you might see a guy or two sleeping surrounded by their companions shopping bags. He sat here on the couch cross-legged and grabbed the first meal to be devoured: Hunan pork and fried rice. [[[OPEN FOR INTERACTION]]]

She looked at the man from behind the counter as he tapped along the cash register. Biting her lip and tapping her fingers along her leg as she waited for him to to tell her the price which she would easily hand over her credit card. "That will be 11.99" he told her before his eyes met hers. He held the beer bottle in his hand, almost was about to place it on the counter but paused. Pausing? Not a good sign... The girl quickly took out her credit card and held it out to him with a friendly grin. "Can I see some identification?" Damn it! Why must they always ask?
"I'm twenty-two." she told him, waving her credit card.
The man shook his head, not believing her, "Sorry, I can't sell this too you if you don't have proper identification." he replied, ready to put the beer back in the little fridge.
"Ugh come on. I forgot it in my car. Can't you just do me a favor and just sell it to me? I really don't want to walk back to my car just so I can get a drink." she told him a slight hint of irritation in her voice but she did plead to him.
"I'm sorry ma'am but-"
"Whatever. The food here sucks anyone. You lost a customer." she said before putting her card away in her pocket as she walked away from the NY BBQ vendor, flicking the man off. "a*****e." she muttered. She walked around the food court, looking for another place where she could try her luck. Though she doubt too many of the vendors here sell alcohol. As she walked around the court, she spotted that familiar face and sighed.
"I am slightly jealous of how much you can eat without gaining a pound. And it's already hard for guys to even gain weight too." she told the boy. She sat down on the couch next to him, looking at the fried rice that was to be his next victim. "Where did you get that from. Now I'm hungry...." she muttered near the end of her statement.

"Well you know me I just run it off." He said srugging at his pun " Here have an eggroll. The asian booth in the food court always throws extra cause they asumme I share." He said nodding to the bag. "Where you here trying to get booze again? Just mention and I can snitch one for you." Izzy said the first part in a light teasing tone. He could get one from the nearby liquor store near the mall and have it to her and opened in mabye a second tops. He always thought the achool laws were silly. He was old enough to drink in most countries but here? Nope too young. Jun was close enough to 18 right?

She smirked would he looked up at her, food in his mouth. After he finished chewing, he started with a morning pun. She relaxed her back against the backrest as her eyes want to the high ceiling, looking at the vents, lights and skylights above them. A few white cloud can be seen in the blue skies from the windows. Sighing when he offered an eggroll but decided to take him up on it by reaching over from the bag, poking her left hand inside, until she felt her hand wrap around it. "It's dumb. I don't see how me drinking is going to hurt somebody. Plus it is only one. The beer isn't even much either. Just water basically...." she complained, glaring at the vendor she just left as she brought the eggroll to her lap and unwrapped it from it wrapper. Jun's eyes went to Izzy, "Can you please?" she asked him since he did offer. Jun never really turned down an offer. Free stuff was free stuff, plus she had already seen with her own eyes how fast Izzy could get somewhere in back. Almost like he can stop time or something.

He zoomed off and in that second he made it to the store grabbed the beer he had seen her drink before. He dug in his pockets and found some loose change. Leaving it on the counter in front of a likely confused clerk he was out the door. He arrived back sitting where he had been but with the beer prize in hand. "Who's your favorite?" He said wiggling it before passing it to her. He resumed to devouring his meal.

No matter how many time she has seen his ability, she just couldn't help but be impressed every time, putting a smile on her face as soon as he blinked away then back to where he was like he never left. A trip, that probably would have taken her twenty minutes if not more, plus probably also being denied for the purchase too. And it was funny that he added to guard his food for a second because it was literary that fast. She made a little giggled as he handed her the beer, "You are always." she replied. No one even noticed what had just happened either, not that anyone was just staring at the two, right? "Thank you." she added later on before taking out her keychain that had a little bottle cap remover she used so she did hurt her fingers trying to pry the cap off. It has happened a few times too, so it was better to be prepared. She removed the cap before finishing what was left of the eggroll, washing it done with the beer. After a few sips, not trying to chug too fast as she wanted to savor it a bit. "What are you up to later today? These last few days had nothing really going on. Probably do to the influx we have been getting. I just hope it doesn't effect my little allowance... Though I should get a job..." she muttered at the end. "Don't feel like sending out apps let alone work... But I burn through money so fast... Probably the one thing I'm faster at." she chuckled, taking another sip.

"Prehaps we can hit up the video games or even the emo kid stores? My old backpack needs replaced." He could technically finish this food faster than he had grabbed the beer but sometimes it was nicer to slow down and eat. Even his slow eat was quick as most would be only half done with the first he was on the second part. "Well you can apply but once they know were too awesome for them they either not hire us or fire us" Izzy said when Jun mentioned jobs. He had wated to do track but apparently his power made it unfair, but durgs sure!

Video games again? It was a little hard for her to play because on occasion if she got really irritated, she would accidentally shut her controller off, or if it was at an arcade, the whole machine. "Emo kid store it is." she replied, totally ignoring the first option. She didn't want to just sit around like most days, and just walk around. Plus if Izzy needed another bag, might as well. Jun took another sip from the bottle before pushing off of the cushioned bench. She stood on her tippy-toes as she stretched up on arm, holding the bottle to her mouth with the other, again taking another sip afterwards. "I just have to not mention that little detail. No one would notice. And if I do slip up, I'll just blame it on the equipment. Though I would probably just work at some restaurant..." she said to him.

Izzy said moving along on the second meal. "They added two spare eggrolls so go for another one." He wasn't planning on getting a job unless he had too and so far he didn't have too. the Brotherhood paid him just fine. He wondered if Jun would mind waiting for him to finish at a relatively human speed of food consumption.

It had only been a few days on the surface and finding good shelter was getting harder to come by. Why was the garbage and boxes moved so much! He pondered this as he was scoping a dumpster behind a small market. these things had plenty good enough food if one was willing to sniff trough some bad ones perhaps he could find were they had lots of thin cut meat the get tossed out with a bunch of whole chickens people didn't buy, so wasteful but he would be set if he could get his hands on one of those. He carefully opened the dumpster and climbed on it to begin his search for the bag of food he hoped to find. Hopefully he would luck out. He was so into the search he didn't notice his hood was half off.

The figure was practically playing around in the garbage dump. Marcel wanted to stifle a laugh, until he saw the green hair. That was not enough to cause alarm. When he brought his camera up to zoom in with his lens, he saw the scaly skin. The figure in the trash was masculine and clearly a mutant. He was also out near the mall, which wasn't a good thing in his eyes. How would some react to his appearance? Marcel began to make a cautious move towards the figure. He hoped nobody would negatively react when they saw him. He was hoping for that hope, but it was a lie. They were going to freak out because they freaked out on him when he was on the run. That was why he joined the Brotherhood. They were proud of being who and what they were. Mutants. Homo Superiors.

Normally Cantil was more careful but hunger and the potential of this dumpster was worth the risk. Or so he thought, He heard a can get kicked and he instinctively stopped and looked up. He saw a male of darker skin tone with what was a camera, he could tell what ii was cause he had found a broken one before and got it tinker with it. This guy didn't run away screaming or try to attack, so what were his motives? "Wh-what do you want?... " He asked. He had a bit of a lisp but was not to where it be hard to understand him. This guy seemed more curious than angry or scared, why was that? Usually it was one or the other when he was spotted and noticed as different looking. All Cantil really wanted was a meal. Hopefully, this guy either had food or would let him find some.

True, if the did fire her for another reason, like drinking, she might get a little prone to use her ability, not that that would hurt anyone that didn't have a power but their electronics will suffer. Take that. "Yeah, I just don't want to rely on the funds of the brotherhood. They only give so much. More money for me the better. Plus I'd get tired of not doing much.." she said, taking a sip afterwards before reaching for an eggroll again since it was offered. "And can't you like, eat faster?" she asked him, which she has seen him do. Did he want to savor the taste, or just relaxing? She bit into the eggroll and eyed a few people walking with bags for different stores. Just putting scenarios in her head on her to steal something from those bags, like she did before she was found by the school. Living off the streets.

It was his goal to get the figure before him away from those who liked "Normal." If he could avoid a conflict, he would take the chance. If he couldn't, well...He did not mind showing the arrogant their place in the world Still, the more he looked at the Reptilian male, the more his mind screamed at the word "Familiar." Something about the male had Marcel insisting that mentally, he'd seen him from somewhere else before.
