BREAKING NEWS :
MASSACRE IN DIAMONDThis is Claire Hathaway reporting from channel 4 news on horrifying events that occurred in Gotham City’s own Robinson country Park earlier this evening. The presence of the infamous trickster and criminal mastermind “The Joker” and an unknown teenager nicknamed “Alice” has caused mass hysteria in the Diamond area in what is now being nicknamed “The Diamond Massacre”. Eighteen GCPD officers were slaughtered in this tragedy, by what appeared to be creatures from a horrific fairy-tale. Onlookers have described giant beast like creatures and monsters that resembled playing cards seemingly conjured out of thin air. Doctors are assessing these spectators for any sign that they could have experienced a joint hallucination whilst forensics are examining the crime scene to find out what the cause of death actually was.
After the creatures vanished into thin air, two police officers were shot dead by the Joker and two civilians were killed due to a poisonous grenade. The villain was spotted with a young girl, who spectators believed to have been kidnapped by the Joker. However, her violent reaction to being in his presence was reportedly only sparked when the pair needed to make a hasty escape from our brave officers of the GCPD, it is not certain as to who this girl is, or what the Joker wants with her and the police department are not ruling her out as a suspect. Due to her strange attire which resembled that of Alice from “Alice in Wonderland”, authorities are nicknaming the girl “Alice” for the time being. If you see either of these individuals in the streets do not approach, simply notify the police department of your location and attempt to find safety.
The GCPD have issued a warning to any residents of the Diamond area to remain in their houses until morning and those whom are outside of the area should report to the Cauldren Motel In Old Gotham where free accommodation will be provided for the night until the area is deemed safe. Our hearts go out to the families of those that died in this massacre and we can only hope that the person or persons responsible for this crime are met with justice. Batman, we and the people of Gotham look to you for guidance in this time of crisis. A memorial service for the officers will be held in the next few weeks.
Thank you.
