The first and only time Alphubel had seen, let alone fought, a youma was when he had been awakened. Considering how little he saw them, he figured that there weren't that many of them and he might not run into another one again anytime soon. He was wrong. In front of him was another one of those beasts, drooling a bit it seemed, as he was scared almost stiff at the sight of it. Even when he had been awakened he wasn't the one who fought the youma anyway! He had just been out patrolling for a bit, wanting to see if he could meet up with another fellow knight, however he had been drawn into a darker part of the park that he was currently walking through. Unfortunately that had been a mistake, as the youma, which seemed to be some dark cross between a plant and squirrel or something, but either way it had huge nasty teeth and was drooling at the sight of Alphubel. It took him a minute to even get his legs to move again, however he knew that he couldn't' just leave it here to attack people. And he knew that he didn't have to use magic to defeat it, he just had to get the correct hit in. The problem was how to do that before he was killed... Before he could do anything though, the youma jumped at him and he barely dodged in time, jumping out of the way as the youma leapt at him.

Minkowski knew that one of a senshi's primary duties involved dusting youma, but she also knew that she was of no use to anyone if she got herself killed. For the most part, Minkowski continued to stay out of the battlefield. She wasn't of any help, really, as her magic was only mild healing, enough to heal minor injuries, but nothing serious, and she had no real combat skills. It wasn't exactly for a lack of trying- Minkowski was simply certain that she lacked the strength and build to really do any sort of damage to an opponent, and so she stayed away. Still, as cowardly as she was, the senshi of butterflies couldn't bring herself to ever deny aid to someone in need- that at least was something she could be of use for. Today, it seemed, would be an example of that- out patrolling around the park, Minkowski picked up the Chaos-aligned aura of a youma... and the Order-aligned aura of a page as well. The petite girl debated her options at first; pages... generally didn't have a usable weapon or magic, did they? Minkowski waited a few moments, to make sure someone else more capable of handling this situation wasn't going to show up, she made her approach, hoping she wasn't too late.

Alphubel was doing better than he imagined he would so far! Well, really he was just hoping he wouldn't be killed within the first few seconds of being attacked and he had made it past that goal at least! He had managed to kick the youma a bit and that seemed to do something at least. More than he hoped at least. It seemed that youma might be a bit weak to White Moon attacks, which was good for him considering he had no magic. However, the youma had managed to scratch him a bit and he had gained some bruises trying to dodge out of the way when it attacked. No pulled muscles or anything so far, so perhaps all of that soccer playing came in handy. The youma went straight at him again and Alphubel put all he could into punching the monster in, what he assumed, was it's face. That seemed to do it! Or at least the youma was in severe pain at this point. With one more hit, he should be able to defeat it!

Minkowski finally got close enough to confirm that yes, there was a youma, and yes there was a page fighting it... or trying to, and she hesitated, unsure of what to do. Did she try to help? Now that she was here, Minkowski couldn't simply just turn around and run away- the guilt would be too much. Finally, she decided to call out. "Are you alright?"

Alphubel felt the aura of a senshi nearby, however he hadn't been able to pay much attention to it since he was trying to fight the youma. So he was quite surprised when he heard the senshi ask him if he was all right. He took a quick look at her. She seemed to want to help but was also hesitating. Well, he was almost done with this youma anyway right? "I think I am, but if you want to help you can! It's okay if you don't want to though." He wasn't sure what type of magic she had, so he wasn't sure how much help she could be in the battle, but if she wanted to help him she could. He didn't want to discourage her, but he knew that there were probably some senshi and knights who would hesitate to fight. He certainly had been considering that he only started to fight after he had been awakened.

"N, no, it's fine, if you have things under control, I won't get in the way," Minkowski told Alphubel, feeling both relief and guilt at the same time. Hopefully, he wouldn't look too down on her for this. Her first thought was to go ahead and leave the page to his fight, because just standing around and doing nothing made her feel more than a little self-conscious, but Minkowski stopped herself before she could. There was, at least, one thing she could do. "Are you in need of healing?" she asked; if there was anything she could be remotely useful at, it was that.

He managed to throw one last punch at the youma and in front of his eyes it suddenly poofed away, sort of like an enemy in a video game or something. He was shocked for a bit, since he had never seen that happen before, but got up and dusted himself up to turn and look at the senshi. He didn't want her to feel as if he was ignoring her, he just had to concentrate a bit to get rid of the youma. Healing? That could be useful. And he was sure he had some cuts and bruises. "Well... if you're willing, that would be great! I wish I had that sort of power myself!" It was definitely nice to have magic, and he was always a bit jealous when he got to see a senshi use it. He knew he would get some magic later, but still, it was pretty amazing! "Oh uh... I'm Alphubel, a page of Polaris."

"Yes, please let me do that much," Minkowski said, almost pleading, as she stepped closer to Alphubel. "Butterfly Kisses," she called out, summoning a swirl of ethereal butterflies that started to surround the page, working to heal his wounds. "I'm Sailor Minkowski, of butterflies," she said, after Alphubel introduced himself. "Polaris... I think I might have met her once, a long time ago." "It's nice to meet you, Alphubel."

Alphubel looked at the butterflies in amazement, not noticing that the pain had gone away. Senshi powers really were cool. "Woah... that was awesome. You have quite an amazing power! And it looks nice too!" Really, sometimes he wished that he had been a senshi rather than a knight. "I haven't met Polaris yet. I've heard plenty about her, but haven't had the chance to meet her myself, though I've heard that she hasn't been around for a bit." Really, he didn't have any expectations of being able to meet her in person, but it would be nice if he eventually got the chance. "It's nice to meet you too Minkowski! Meeting a different senshi is always nice." Even if he wanted to get to know some more knights. "Thanks for the help though. I'm glad I won't be waking up sore tomorrow." He replied, smiling at her.

"It has been some time..." Minkowski quietly admitted, "I haven't really... talked to a lot of people I knew back then." Whether she had lost contact with them, or otherwise had been avoiding crossing paths with them, Minkowski hadn't exactly made her return known to anyone who may have known her. Admittedly, her senshi phone was horribly outdated, as well; everyone had probably long forgotten about her by now. "You're welcome," she said, feeling slightly flustered at being thanked, "I... I'm no good at fighting, so this is the most I can do." Harmonia had suggested that maybe she'd be able to heal more if she got stronger. Minkowski still had her doubts, but, in situations like this... well, not everyone would be as lucky as Alphubel and walk away from a youma fight with only a few cuts and bruises. Alphubel felt a bit sorry for her. It must be a bit lonely not to be in contact with any of your old friends, even if it had been a while. "Well... maybe I can be one of your new friends then? I mean I'd like to get in contact with you if possible. I think it's nice having knight and senshi friends and always try to get their information if possible." He had started carrying around a tiny notebook and pen for that specific purpose. After all, he hadn't gotten his ring yet. "I think this is great though. I would love to have a power like yours. I'm not so good at fighting either, or at least I don't really like doing it." He was still surprised that he had been awakened as a knight and that he was expected to do at least some fighting, even though he had been warned not to as a page. He smiled at her. "Thanks so much though, really. Even if you don't think it was much, I'm glad I'm not going to be sore tomorrow." He took out his pen and paper and wrote his information on it, and then tore off the piece, holding it out to her. "If you want, here's my info..."

"Ah-" Minkowski was more than a little surprised at the offer of friendship- she wasn't used to people offering to be her friend like this, but then perhaps it was that she wasn't used to genuine offers of friendship. Hesitantly, she took the offered piece of paper, as if she thought he may take it back, only joking with her. "I... thank you, I'd like that," the petite senshi finally said, "I'd like that a lot."

He smiled widely at her, wishing that it could be seen through the dumb scarf. "Great! You can contact me when you want. I won't be bothered by it at all, though if I don't reply quickly, I'm mostly just busy. My school really puts an emphasis on educations so we have a lot of schoolwork. So don't worry if I don't reply right away." He didn't like to assume, but from the way Minkowski acted, he didn't want her to think that if he didn't answer quickly enough that he didn't like her or anything. "And I have some other contacts too in case you need some help and I can't be there. We can all get in contact with each other! Though I wish there was some way for us to all communicate easily without being powered up. It's kind of hard with knights having rings and senshi having cell phones and we have to be powered up to know we have a message or something." He looked at her and nodded. "Thanks again for the heals, that was really helpful. Do you... want to go patrolling a bit more together? We don't have to of course, but if you want..."Merurulince If you want we can end this in a couple more posts or keep it going for longer, I don't mind either way.
