At Denebola and Cetus' insistence, Themisto had powered up in a more secluded area in Destiny City (a less desirable part of town full of new construction ) and began making his way into the city proper for rooftop training. This way, he avoided someone seeing him transform and thus preserve his civilian identity. With that success, Themisto climbed to the top of an office building and started to practice his jumps, moving from the ledges near the bottoms of the office windows in a circular pattern. The width of the ledges was generous but the training could still be dangerous. Thankfully he had ditched his geta on the top of the building. He wasn't ready to practice with dangerous shoes.

Deneb's mood as of late had failed to improve outside of being perpetually bitter and angry, but it was of no surprise anymore, probably; that was just how Deneb was these days. It could be said that Deneb was also getting fairly reckless these days, picking fights with stronger and stronger enemies, pushing her luck. Of course, with recklessness came close calls, and Deneb had just happened to experience one of those not too very long ago. Naturally, it didn't help that her stubborn pride kept her from calling for backup, or that she purposely kept a loner stance to get out of having to do such a thing; regardless, she'd had to give up pursuing the youma she had been after after it had nearly pulverized her to a pulp. It was just one of those things that made Deneb irritable about her lack of advancement in power level- surely, if she was just even the slightest bit stronger, she could have taken down that youma solo, instead of having to leave it to another senshi to dust. Sitting on the rooftop of a nearby building as she plotted her next course of action, Deneb realized she wasn't alone; faint but growing nearer, the senshi of bubbles recognized the power signature of another basic level senshi. Getting up, and upon further investigation, she found the source of the signature... jumping on window ledges? What even.

merurulince sorry the start was so lame! Themisto stopped when he finally reached the roof again, leaning over to rest his hands on his knees for a breather. He'd been working fairly hard that evening and worked up a sweat. Walking over to the roof's corner, he snatched up the water bottle he left there and took a drink. That's when he felt it - another Order signature, like his own. Turning, he could somewhat make out a lovely lavender lady on a neighboring roof. Eyebrows raised and he finished the drink with a smile. What a way to end a workout! He waved to her, hoping she would see him. She looked pretty cute, at least from this distance. "Hey over there!" Themisto called, trying to smooth himself out and make his appearance more presentable to the fairer sex. Using some water he'd poured from the bottle, he smoothed out his fluffy hair and wiped off some of the sweat on his brow. "Are you alone? Want to hang out or somethin'?" Smooth. Real smooth.

Deneb stared. Hang out? Was he trying to hit on her? How old was he, anyway? Actually, scratch that- Deneb didn't really care. "You can't be serious," she said, irritably, "Are you for real?" Lucifer Force that describes about 99% of my starters and replies tho

Merurulince oh whatever. Thank you for the battle, regardless! Themisto found that the distance between them, including the wind, made it difficult for him to hear her. Her mouth was moving but he couldn't quite hear what she was saying. Taking it upon himself, Themisto straightened himself out as much as he could and closed the gap, leaping from his rooftop onto hers. Upon landing, he twirled around and gave her a big smile. "Sorry about that, couldn't quite hear you. I was wondering if a pretty lady like you was alone and uhh... maybe wanted to patrol together or somethin'?" She was pretty cute, now that Themisto got close enough to see her.

Was he dense or just playing dumb? Deneb took a step backwards, any hint of feigned politeness gone, if there was any in the first place. "No thanks," Deneb informed Themisto, raising her hands in front of her, "I'm going to have to decline." And then, without warning, she struck. " Bubble Burst!" Quote: Attack #1 (for senshi) NAME: Bubble Burst [What it does] Deneb blows bubbles towards her target, causing minor damage, enough to possibly leave a mark, bruising at best. The bubbles last for about five seconds max before popping, though they also pop on contact, and can be used twice. The range is around six feet, and the bubbles can be (fairly easily) dodged. Lucifer Force hello yes bubbles hurt apparently also sorry sorry i've worked all week as usual

"What the hell!" came a yelp as Themisto was suddenly assaulted by... bubbles. He didn't expect them to hurt upon contact but every single one that touched his skin or his clothing felt like a good, solid slap. His threw his arms in front of himself to try and blow them again with wind or movement. "I'm on your side! I'm not one of those agents, what is your problem??" Themisto never thought he would strike a lady, and he hadn't wanted to, even defending himself from a bubble onslaught. Still, what caused her to attack him? He wasn't evil If he had to defend himself again, at least his attack wouldn't involve laying his hands on a lady. That would be grounds for assault in just about any other context. "Look, stop! Maybe there was some big misunderstanding!"

"On my side? Really? Are you really so certain about that?" Deneb said, shaking her head, "Don't make me laugh. Just because we're both White Moon doesn't make us allies." If there was one thing she wanted to make absolutely clear, it was that she had no intentions of making friends with the other senshi just because they were on the 'same side'. She was a longer, through and through. When Themisto demanded to know what her problem was, Deneb shook her head; it wasn't any of his business, and he wouldn't understand, anyway. Nobody ever did, which was why she was going to take matters into her own hands. "That was a warning. Get any closer and I'll do it again," Deneb informed him, in a tone that implied she intended to follow through on her threat, "I suggest you also should take this as a lesson, to not put so much blind trust into someone you just met." Lucifer Force i think it's safe to say that any deneb rp will take ages to finish because she's not a character type i'm used to playing

merurulince No worries! You go at your own pace. I don’t mind waiting. Themisto seemed more shocked than angry at Deneb’s response, and she was correct on one thing - just because they were both White Moon Senshi didn’t mean they were automatically friends and allies. He simply ran on the assumption that White Moon = good, Chaos = bad, and that all White Moon senshi had something inherently good about them to make them such. Not that Deneb was all bad, but she was very clearly having a bad day. “Aight, look, I apologize.” Themisto raised his hands in a signature surrender motion, like one would perform for the Destiny City Police is asked. “I was kind of a jerk, bein’ all flirty with you. I’m sorry about that. I know I’m kinda new at all this…” The boy waved his hand around in the air, encompassing all this nonsense - the war, magical powers, all of it. “...but I got ears. If you’re havin’ a rough time of it, you know… I’ll listen to ya.”
