Name: Jasper Parrox Age: 23 Gender: Male Species: Human Birthplace: Thalassia Sexual Orientation: Homosexual Career: Servant Fealty: Thalassia Family: His uncle Solomon Alliances: Thalassian Royal Family Magical Specialty: Hydrokinesis Weapon: None Skills: : Trained mage (Hydrokinesis), and trained in the servant arts (cleaning, sewing, serving his master) History: Both of Jasper’s parents died while fighting for their country (both were magic users in the army), so he was raised by his uncle Solomon. The Parrox family has been supposedly serving and protecting their royal family for generations and Jasper was raised to do just that. He has never been particularly enthusiastic about his training as a child, except magic training, but has warmed up to the role as he grew older, though his cooking could kill. His family is valued for their ability to use Hydrokinesis, and while their magic is not powerful it is versatile and fast to the point they can elegantly serve tea and do chores using just tendrils of water, a skill Jasper is on his way to mastering. Now in his late youth, Jasper loyally serves the Thalassia Royal Family just like his parents and uncle. Personality: A commonly used definition of Jaspers personality is haggard, since he is often run dry by his work. The fact that for some reason he is constantly injured, usually through coincidences like a door slamming in his face, does not help his image at all though he tries to stay positive. He can be shy to people he's just met, but once you get to know him Jasper comes off as easy-going and hard-working to the point of being a bit obsessive, though easily thrown off by things he does not expect. Jasper is known for doing tasks exceedingly well, and he really does love his works and the Royal Family. His only reprieve is practicing his magic while doing his chores, only when in private though so it doesn't look like he's showing off. Like any good servant Jasper is a skillful observer and has the keen intellect known amongst Thalassians. One of his goals in life is to properly learn how to cook since he can't even make tea without poisoning someone, though no one can figure out how he manages that. Jasper values people with kind hearts above all others, though admires people with strong personalities. He can be empathetic and tender to those he likes, believing that a bit of affection and kindness his healthy for anyone. A weakness of is his inability to fight, being untrained and freezing up when in combat situations. He fears failing the royal family and his uncle. An insecurity of Jasper’s is his preferences to the same sex since he knows he must marry so his children can serve the royal family just like him (his uncle is unable to have children). Jasper worries that he will never find love and hates himself already for his future wife’s sake. Other: Face claim – Dwyer, Fire EmblemPosting Format:

I'm sorry, but for some reason, this was never fixed in the rules or anything. But, magic weapons aren't allowed. You'll have to remove the magic channeling property to his staff.
Another things is that your character seems to be very OP for a kid of eighteen. We're going to have to ask that you compromise. You can keep his magical skill, but he can't be all that skilled with weapons; especially since he didn't want to learn it in the first place. It also doesn't seem all the safe to allow a servant to learn how to fight and carry weapons, especially when their are guards for that. He can only be a servant or only be a guard.
Also, and I just thought of this, but Jasper's too young to be either of those to a full extent. At best, he'd be a servant- or guard-in-training.

I was initially planning on making him a retainer when I made this character so that's why I wanted combat skills, but decided being a servant was fine. But even if he does become a retainer in the future just magic would be fine. But you right, he is OP, thank for pointing that out, hope my fixes work

Hello there! While there are no real issues regarding the profile itself, I must say that I noticed this character is nearly identical to his faceclaim. It just so happens that I am a fan of the Fire Emblem series, and while many things in Larcasia mirror the world of Fire Emblem, this is not a fanfic guild. It is it's own original story. And to include a character like this would be plagiarism. So before acceptance you would have to change this character quite a bit. It's mostly the personality that stands as an issue. But you could also simply change the image and alter the age to match the new pic. Then you'd only have to edit the personality slightly. We can't plagiarize because of copyright purposes, I hope you understand.
Below is a link to Dwyer's wikia so you know exactly what to avoid when re-writing the character.
Dwyer
You can still make a retainer if you wish, there is no issue with that. So long as you ask the player of the royal you want them to serve before the character is finished. We also need to make sure you know exactly what a retainer is supposed to do, we had an issue with that before. All Thalassian royals still have open slots for a retainer. You are also free to re-write the character entirely if you choose to do so. So long as you're not copying another's work it will be fine.

Looking at that wiki I've got to say, damn you've got a point there. Plagiarizing was most definitely not my intention, really sorry about that! redface My way of creating characters is have a general idea, find a picture that suits it, then base general personality around that picture, and usually works fine but I guess the pic for this character was a bit to obvious for what his personality was. I never finished my own Fire Emblem game, though my fault entirely for not researching the character. Hopefully the changes I've made are enough to not be like Dwyer that it works and I can still RP my character as I want to. If not I'll drop this characters image and personality and remake it. Also don't worry, I've sorta dropped the idea of becoming a retainer unless it happen in-story smile Thank you for the input
