I want to get the Starbird/Rebel Alliance logo as a tattoo.
But I've been thinking about WHERE I want it for years and have never been able to decide on a spot.

Nope, not a tattoo person. My brother has the Imperial logo on his left arm, though, and is thinking of getting the First Order symbol on his right, for balance. I'm not sure this is the best time in history to be endorsing even fictional fascism, but I can't deny they're cool-looking. lol

I'm not sure this is the best time in history to be endorsing even fictional fascism, but I can't deny they're cool-looking. lol Yeah, I'm German and I got reeeeeally bad vibes from the First Order in TFA (especially Hux' speech) so I will forever stay away from anything Empire/First Order related when it comes to tattoos. Don't really want a space nazi symbol on my body.

Ven Loki Yeah, I'm German and I got reeeeeally bad vibes from the First Order in TFA (especially Hux' speech) so I will forever stay away from anything Empire/First Order related when it comes to tattoos. Don't really want a space nazi symbol on my body. I hear ya. Darth Vader is cool and all, but in the end, even he didn't support the Empire. (I have to admit, I do have a Support the Troops t-shirt featuring an old-fashioned stormtrooper helmet. I found it mildly funny when I bought it, but since Trump's election, and the suggestion that the National Guard might be used to round up illegal immigrants, it's become more of a political statement for me.) If I was going to get a Star Wars tattoo, I would probably go with the Jedi Order logo from the Old Republic. Or, I could rip off this guy, and get my Jedi and Rebel endorsement in one go.

Oh, I love some Stormtrooper decorated merch too (although I was always a Rebels fan), it's just that I don't want to have it under my skin. 3nodding Stormtroopers are hardly to be taken seriously anyway. They are so dorky and... useless. (There, I said it) It's the commanders/officers in their nazi-inspired uniforms that unsettle me. That said, there are so many cool Empire-inspired tattoos featuring stormtroopers, the Death Star or TIE fighters. But the only thing I'd get on my own body would be "light side" related things like the starbird, x-wings, etc.

I haven't gotten any tattoo's yet, but it IS a plan for me. There's just a lot of other things I need to do first. How ever, I would love to get the Sith emblem, in black, on my left shoulder.
