Children was not in the plan for Riley. All he had planned was to go to school, move back home, and maybe find someone to be partners with. There wasn't much drive for him to go and have a child, but something changed when he moved out of his hometown that was full of nightmares older than him and into a place full of youth, especially children.
He couldn't help but admire their playful natures, having next to no cares going on. To them it seemed to be all about having fun and learning about this big world around them, and Riley started to wish he could be a part of that. It soon got to the point he would struggle to even sit down and do his school work, deciding instead to go for walks and watch all the children and lucky parents playing with them. He wanted that. He wanted to be able to share in that experience with a child of his own.
As he looked into the options, he found it kind of hard to bring himself to imbue a stone by himself, but felt if need be he could. What he was really gravitating toward though was a shared imbuing, and there was such a thing! Mix-breedings, it seemed like the perfect thing for him! Not only that, but if he wasn't able to find someone then he would simply go for it on his own. Riley couldn't wait for the day he could he one of those parents playing with their child, and he knew that soon he would be.
