Biography
Lu Young is a very famous K-Pop star, known for her soft and melodic songs. 24 years ago there was a scandal about her being pregnant, yet refusing to reveal the name of the father. It turns out, she had a swing with one of the most recognized managers in an American music industry and for professional matters they decided to keep it hidden. So Jiae was born, already blinded by the large spot that her mother was in.
As the girl grew, she decided she wanted to be like her mom, a singer that brought love into the world. So she worked hard, rejoicing the little time she could get with her mom and practicing with her grandmother. As a kid, she never knew what truly was happening, for her it was all just a fairy tale in which her mom was making everyone happy. When Lu's managers found potential the girl, they sent her to the most prestigious academy in South Korea, where she would spend most of her life learning about music without little to no contact from her mother. Everything was great until she was placed in her first group.
Red Velvet had been a very popular girl group in South Korea, doing tours all over the place and just bringing joy to the world, at least thats what it seemed to be. Jiae had learned how the industry could suck dry a person, her mother now having no free will and just being an empty shell singing for the sake of ratings. Her fellow singers were already like that at a young age, something that had caused the young girl to become rebellious. Strikes, smoking and alcohol became her friends. Her hopes crumbled upon finding out how she was a mistake to the world known for basically "costing Lu a lifetime of fame". All this made her quit her group and travel to the Americas. Once there, she was quickly under another music industry, now under the name of JSY in which they reached an agreement. She could sing about whatever she wanted, as long as she didnt cause a fuss under press. And so thats how it all began.
She slowly became one with the city, everyone automatically loved her and became famous on her own. Occasionally escaping the press to breath the free city air. Loving how heroes did the right thing and how villains fought for their freedom of expression to an extent.
