I do, however, have a computer now, and am extremely happy to be role playing again. The only role play I've joined so far since being back is this one with my post being on page 9. This link, though, is to a role play I had made alongside a friend a few years back. You can see my writing style in many examples.
♕ ▌CHARACTER SAMPLE x) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx As the large, full moon shone down through the trees, a faint breeze rolled through the forest that sent a shiver through the plants, rustling their leaves together. With the breeze, rabbits buried themselves in their holes, birds flew up into the sky, deer fled; everything that was once nearby and once making noise suddenly came to a complete and utter halt, forcing an eerie silence upon the forest. A soft hum escaped her throat, breath exhaling with the sound through her nose as she walked through the trees and among the brush. Her hands were waist high, fingers gently brushing along the leaves of bushes as she slowly passed them. Brown eyes glanced around lazily, taking in all the different colors of green she could see within the dark lit area. The forest was beautiful at night, wasn’t it? Well, it was beautiful always – but at night, with the moon shining down and the cool weather to keep one relaxed, it was especially beautiful.
As her humming grew louder, a closed-lipped smile slowly stretched across her face. Her cheeks rounded just a bit, and her eyes narrowed ever-so-slightly with the smile. This certainly was a beautiful night to come out here and change. While the moon was raising higher and higher into the sky, Lilith could feel it in her bones the want—the need—to shift into a beast. It was beyond her control, but she had come to embrace it as not a curse, but a gift. It had taken some time for her to get used to the idea of what she had become, but over time she had learned to love not just herself as a woman, but she had learned to also love the wolf. The wolf was a part of her, just as much as her hair, her eyes, her skin. The wolf’s body was her body, and while coming to those terms seemed to be a struggle at times, after a while, she knew she had been set down the correct path. This was no mistake, this was destiny.
Lilith stopped humming and inhaled deeply, her chest expanding as her lungs filled with air. The sweet smell of the forest was exhilarating. Just as she had felt the need and want to shift in her bones moments ago, she could feel it coming upon her. Coming to a full stop, she reached up and began to slide her dress from her shoulders, allowing it to fall around her feet into a circular pile. This left her bare in the forest, completely and utterly exposed and vulnerable to all around her. That is, until her body suddenly jolted forward, forcing her back to arch. A breath came from behind her teeth, causing a hissing sound that very much represented pain. She didn’t get a moment to relax, though, as the bones beneath her skin began to break and rearrange into the correct formation—one that would shape her in the form of a large beast.
It began with her back: her spine altering its shape as it visibly pressed against her skin. At the same time, her tailbone elongated into an actual animal tail, measuring long enough to be worth notice. Next, it went to her arms and legs: fingers and toes breaking in an almost rhythmical tune to form paws. Lilith’s body was forced onto all fours, her back half standing on the balls of her feet, while her front half was balancing on her palms, even as her arms and legs followed in the change. Then, her chest cavity and stomach began to shift, her ribs taking a much rounder shape and her internal organs moving to different places to accommodate her not-so-new body. The next part, however, was the worst: her skull. Her skull didn’t have to break, it just had to reform its entire outline to resemble that of a wolf’s skull; snout and all. The last thing to happen during the change, though, was the sprouting of fur. Her pores pushed out thick, dark hair that covered her entire body. This was, needless to say, the easiest part of the transformation. If her entire change didn’t only take just a couple of seconds to complete, she would almost be able to feel her brain moving around in her new skull as it settled down into the different form.
Now fully transformed, the body of a large wolf stood in the place of a woman. Her brown eyes remained the same color, but that seemed to be the only thing that resembled her original form. With curled lips, a loud huffing noise came from her throat and her chest heaved with it, because the transformation was tiring, to say the least. But this wasn’t it, no. She wasn’t done here. The night was young, and this wolf had much to do. Quickly and without hesitation, Lilith forced her head up, pointing her snout up at the dark, star-less sky, and let out a high-pitched howl. The sound echoed through the forest, warning all that her time had come.
Yes, this was destiny, indeed.
