Charon sank down into the water and blew bubbles, relaxing after a long day of being awesome. Other than one little blip where xe had lost xyr temper and made a fool of xyrself, it had gone pretty well. But xe wasn't soaking to think about xyr day, instead xe was thinking about children.
Bluntly, life was going pretty good for Charon, but xe was looking to add a bit more zest. Xe hadn't found anyone who had captured xyr heart yet, so this hypothetical offspring would only have one parent, but what was wrong with that? Charon had seen plenty of children grow up with only one parent, and they had done just fine. Charon felt xe could do it as well.
Decision made, xe sat up and pushed xyr hair back with a sigh and a smile. Xyr parents would be thrilled to be grandparents and have someone new to teach their trade to, and Charon would have someone to love and tell stories too. It was a win win situation really.
